Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) - Lady GaGa (Interscope/Universal) : moved to Feb 3rd now.

Last edited:
"Circus" by Britney Spears has two release dates. Jan 19th on AMROC, but Sony's release schedule says Feb 7th, so this could change.

The 26th Jan compilations for the Oz Pop compilations were put together by a friend of mine in radio in Brisbane, and I helped with some of the info in them.
Awesome list!!!

So does anyone know a physical cd single
for these singles:

Mariah Carey - I Stay In Love
Kanye West - Heartless
Leona Lewis - Run
Duffy - Stepping Stone/Rain on your Parade
Kid Rock - So Hott
Evermore - Between the Lines
i think thats it for Mariah Carey for this era unfortunately. poor single choices from her.

with Kanye, i don't think Heartless will get released in Australia. He has re-mixed Paranoid and it will feature Rihanna. so people would be keen to hear that.

Between the Lines got released this week digitally.

and u shouldn't be listening to Kid Rock.
Looks like Mika is making a comeback in 2009 with his second studio album, and his first since his vocal problems.

But Life in Cartoon Motion (also Mika's 2007 debut album) is Mika's Video Single released on January 26, 2009.
I think "Duffy" has only had one good single choice. "Mercy".

But single choices, I think are more on what the label thinks will be a hit, and that would be hard to break, unless the label has versitility, in letting the artist choose a single.

Poor single choices for me 0f 2008 are

"Girls" and "No Can Do" by Sugababes - Both bad songs.
Will Beyonce - Single Ladies have a physical release?
I thought it was a b-side with If I Were A Boy, but if not id say no.
2009 Comeback Artists!!

American Idol, and two time Grammy Award winner
is making a comeback!! next year!!

According to kellyofficial.com

Kelly Clarkson is back with a new video blog!

The 26-year-old songstress recorded the video message from the photo shoot for her upcoming single, “My Life Would Suck Without You”, off her new fourth studio album (rumored to be released March 17, 2009).

The song is set to be officially released to radio the week of January 19, 2009. So expect a leak of the song sometime before that!

Her new official website: KellyOfficial.com.
I missed that one! It is a B-Side to the If I were a boy single.
I will preface this by saying that Kelly Clarkson is one of the few Idols that I enjoy but:

That is a horrendous name for a song! "My Life Sucks Without You"? Did her 5 year old niece pen that one?
One song that wont be a hit in 09' is "Someday Soon" by "Natalie Bassingthwaighte". Thats song is rubbish, and will only make top 30 if the fans are downloading, or people are curious on what it sounds like. BMG have just released the video which is pointless and idiotic. DONT BUY

it would surprise me if Sony bothered with Diva. but then again Single Ladies was a hit.

A few of those have already been confirmed.

Kanye's label will probably release Paranoid next, the remixed it and added Rihanna into it.
extra stuff added to the January schedule from Universal and EMI.
bulion, could you double check what's going on with Kelly Clarkson's new single.

It's apparently embargoed until a radio station in the US premieres it.
...

and I have to wonder if that January 12 date is gonna hold up.
getluv, Kelly Clarkson is now gonna be released on DL Jan 17th, then physical release Feb 7th.

New album for NATALIE BASSINGTHWAIGHTE – 1000 STARS, out Feb 21st.
kelly's song has leaked online now
Hi Bulion!!!

I have a few questions...

Katy Perry's 3rd single, is it "One of the Boys", or
"Thinking of You", and which of them will be released physically?

Pink's 3rd single, is it "Funhouse" or "Please Don't Leave Me",
both tracks are receiving airplay, and which song will get released physically?

Duffy's 3rd single, "Rain on your parade", saw the video on Rage recently, loved it!!
Will the track get a physical or digital release??

Brandon, "One of the Boys" is Katy's third single, the fourth will be "Thinking of You", which get's a multi-track CD Single release on March 2nd. No physical for '...Boys" at all.

"Please Don't Leave Me" will be P!nk's 3rd single from the album, no physical as yet.

No physical release for "Rain on Your Parade", but their is another edition of "Rockferry" coming out, listed on the schedule as a 2CD Jewel Case Version.
New U2 single is called "Get on Your Boots". From the forthcoming album "No Lines on the Horizon", it sounds a little bit like a mix between "Where the Streets Have No Name" era rock and a bit of "Vertigo" and "Hold Me, Thrill Me..." thrown in for good old rockin' sake.

If you've heard, let me know what you think....
