this is probably a blonde question but whats the difference between AFL and rugby (i dont play those sports so dont murder me :L)
AFL is game where the team with most points scored after 90 minutes wins, their are many complex rules involved in this which i'm not going into but the mains are 6 for a goal and 1 for a behind
There are 4 posts and if the ball travels through off an attacking players foot it scores points depending on which posts of course.
If a ball is kicked and misses the scoring zone it is classified as "out on the full" and the defence will be given the ball.
If a defender rushes the ball through his own scoring zone by either kicking, tapping or handballing it's a behind score to the attacking team.
The length of an AFL ground is normally 150m and is played on an oval pitch.

Yeah away is probably the best bet with a maximum of 4/8. More often than not only a few away teams win.

Sorry about that everyone. I installed Office 2007 the other week and have had some troubles with it, so when I entered Carlton as the winner of the last match of Round 10, it didn't save properly. But it's fixed now.

I'm sorry if this seems too late, but my internet connection screwed up so it isn't my fault. I promise that these tips were made before StK v Geel started.

I feel your pain ben, of the three times I had a school tipping competition, I came in 2nd twice. One of these was by one tip AKA one contensious St Kilda behind (grrr). Could've done better in this, maybe next year.
