The 30th September 2010 marks the 50th anniversary of The Flinstones franchise that began as a television show on 30th September 1960.
For those who don't already know, The Flintstones is about a working class Stone Age man’s life with his family and his next door neighbor and best friend. Although the show's original run ended in 1966, The Flintstones continue to be shown on television in different parts of the world and a movie was also released in connection with it.

CONDITIONS: Where appropriate, mini-sketches "The Bus Stop" and "The Chair" are counted with "Mr. Bean Rides Again" and "Do-It-Yourself Mr. Bean" respectively. "The Library" mini-sketch is counted as its own episode. "Best Bits", comic-relief sketches and other specials are not counted.
#15 MIND THE BABY MR. BEAN It's hard to know how to assess this one, but one thing is certain, if a weakest link had to be nominated from the bunch, this is the one. I'm not saying it's a disaster at all but the series can survive without it.
#14 MR. BEAN GOES TO TOWN Overall, worth it, but kind of rubs off as filler next to several of the other episodes. Other episodes have their ways of standing out differently to this episode. And a good Mr. Bean episode should not feel like series filler, as passable as this episode was.
#13 BACK TO SCHOOL MR. BEAN On the flipside, there are a few commendable moments in this episode, in particular the unforgettable mini-crushing tank scene. This episode almost edged out the episode ranked just one spot above it.
#12 THE TROUBLE WITH MR. BEAN Dentist troubles, then picnic troubles. The dentist scenes can at times require a bit of mental strength to sit through for obvious reasons, but that doesn't ruin the episode, however this episode is easily outclassed by higher entries.
#11 HAIR BY MR. BEAN OF LONDON The train station component of this episode is genius. The rest of the episode has it's good points too, but the overall mixture isn't quite what is needed for a top ten placing.
#10 THE RETURN OF MR. BEAN This is where the rankings start to get difficult as the top ten are put to the test. This episode finishes a lot differently to how it begins, but that's okay. While it's the unlucky one in the few above the lower five to stop at tenth, the higher ranked episodes are probably better.
#9 MR. BEAN RIDES AGAIN This is the oddball episode of the group as it's very unlike several others. Narrowly edges out a ninth placing in part thanks to The Bus Stop sketch.
#8 MR. BEAN IN ROOM 426 The first half of this episode is simply grand and the second half is also okay. Features a fantastic cameo of Danny La Rue.
#7 THE CURSE OF MR. BEAN The memorable Mr. Bean diving board scenario. Plus lunch, car park troubles, and the movies. Quite a definitive Mr. Bean episode.
#6 MR. BEAN (ORIGINAL) The debut episode has the famous exam and church scenarios. Notably, the mini is orange in this episode and the recurring sub-plot of the light blue car began here.
#5 MERRY CHRISTMAS MR. BEAN This episode features a memorable turkey-weighing scene amongst other classic Mr. Bean moments. A high ranking for truly being a Christmas Cracker
#4 DO-IT-YOURSELF MR. BEAN Features the clever "The Chair" sketch. The New Years equivalent episode to the former entry. So what makes this fourth? Well, the gap between fifth and fourth isn't too big, but this is one hell of a good episode.
#3 THE LIBRARY A sketch that for not being part of an episode is an outstanding act. For only having one scene, this is an incredible episode.
#2 TEE OFF MR. BEAN It's hard not to like a Mr. Bean episode that includes golf and a laundromat. I think the episode speaks for itself in terms of why it nearly gets named as the greatest episode of Mr. Bean
AND THE BEST EPISODE OF MR BEAN IS....
#1 GOODNIGHT MR. BEAN The hospital and night-time scenarios are two of the best in Mr. Bean you'll find. The Buckingham Palace scenario, while not towering like the other two scenes, does well to add to the overall epicness of the most excellent Mr. Bean episode ever created.
