@Chris A - Kelly is in a very strong position to claim the Top spot, but she does have competition from #4 and #5 for next week. Anything could happen, cause the current #1 is still strong for me.

@BZ - At least their cover of PRA actually does something useful as opposed to their lame cover of STIUTK that;s why its charting, still obviously find the Chipmunks version more enjoyable as whole though

@Lifter - knew you'd enjoy those two leaps up. Coldplay were very unlucky to noit crack the Top 50.

Aww, I missed you debuting another PRA cover last week. The new #1 is nice and continues to grow on me, but I do have to share the sentiment and support The Muppets. Nice to see Lloyd & Adele rising too. The Brian McFadden song was surprisingly pleasant when I previewed it the other day.

Nice to see Matt Corby, One Direction, Tim McGraw and Coldplay all with new peaks, but a shame The Muppets couldn't go all the way. Interesting to see Paulini has a new song, I'm not sure if Australia wants her anymore, but we'll see. Personally I'm not especially interested in hearing the song at this stage. Is it worth it? How does it compare to her older material? (Not that I liked that much either sadly.)

Great that Coldplay & Matt Corby are rising decently, and The A Team & Set Fire to the Rain are still doing well. I can't help but feel that by ARIA standards these days, Switch Me On should be at least 6 times platinum. Interesting that Celebration makes the album chart, I presume its first charting week was from a previous revitalisation of interest?

@BZ - The best way to describe Paulini's new song is that it is more like Young Divas album than One Determined Heart album, but I can't compare it to Superwoman album cause even though I own it I haven't ever listened to it.

@Hijinx - I guess you could say my accreditation system is based upon the era where it actually meant something LOL. re: Celebration, it did chart for one week last year after I randomly re-discovered it when reordering my CD collection LOL.

Nice to see all the Whitney charters, although the #1 is one I struggle to remember well. Fantastic to see the awesome IWALY come in at #2, though it's a shame my second favourite, I Have Nothing, couldn't get in too. Nice jumps for Olivia and Tim McGraw too.

What a wonderful chart this week! I really wanted to chart Whitney, but held off due to the same reason as D Man, although I'd probably have IWALY at #1 for ages holding off any new songs.

I'm so happy that IWALY debuts so high and that one of her under-recognised songs (I Look To You) is up at #1. A great ballad from her and the best from that album!

Also nice to see the other Whitney debuts down below, the rise for We Are Young and the debut for Will Young. Love your #1 album, one of my favourite albums and still listened to frequently today (if it's the album with the blue cover, I'm pretty sure that's the right one??)

@D Man - I guess you could call me a Shannon Noll tragic, just ask BZ. It is a pity that his latest album has been ignored by the masses, it is a very consistent and solid effort.

@BZ - I Have Nothing was unlucky not to chart this week, if it existed it would be on the Bubbling Under Chaert.

@alleyt - The Whitney album is the one where is putting up all her platinum awards on a wall. She is standing on a ladder. Is that the album you were thinking about.

@all those who posted. Thanks for the nice words about my Whitney onslaught. I was worried about charting them, but I thought if this chart existed with Michael Jackson's death it would have been clogged with his album, so thre was no harm in doing it for Whitney. And just for some insight, I chose I Look To You as #1 because a) It's one of her last singles and b) it hadn't reached #1 on my personal chart on its initial release. I don't imagine the Whitney songs will crash and burn over the coming weeks, they have potential to chart as the current songs.

Wow, I never even considered all the Whitney songs impacting your chart, especially to this degree. Although I don't know half of them, even after re-discovering a bunch of them this past week, and my favourite is the lowest one! Although this impact means that all my favourites drop, unless I pretend that Glee Are Young is the original, but then why stop there, when I can just pretend your chart matches my chart, it's the best chart you've ever produced!

I was also torn as to whether to chart Whitney, but she will fall relatively quickly and it's hard enough to slot all my favourite songs as it is. She will forever be among my iPod's best however.
Anyway, to your chart, Madonna's 'Masterpiece' is a (dare I say it) a little underrated, despite her golden globe win for it. Absolutely love Will Young's 'Losing Myself' so I'm glad it's charted here. Also happy to see One Direction, Aqua and Matt Corby. Your chart is very different to mine and most of it isn't my cup of tea, but I appreciate diversity. Good work

East 17!? New East 17? Wow. If it's new, I gotta hear it, and hope it's not lame. Great to see two more excellent Whitney debuts and Olivia in the top ten.

Did you get around to hearing it BZ, cause it is new East 17. Compared to their original 90s stuff it is kinda lame, they've ditched the bad boys of pop and taken the mature path of re-formed Take That. Perhaps the absence of Brian who they kicked out due to lack of committment explains the seriousness of their musical, I dunno all I do know even if it is kinda lame, it is much better than the majority of alcoholic club tracks that have been clogging the ARIA charts for the past year.

Not a big fan of the Whitney charting really, but I do love I Will Always Love You and I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

Only other good song in the top 10 is 1D (and even that's not great), alright seeing Madge up to #12.

I'll put down this average chart to the fact that there aren't many quality Brit/Euro releases atm.

Shame to see Kelly fall a bit, hopefully she can hang around in the top five a little longer. Additionally, Coldplay and Ed fall which is a shame. Nice rise for Glee Are Young, it's my favourite of theirs I'd say. I do prefer the original though just to be painful

Nice to see debuts for Train, Olly Murs and Carly Rae Jepsen. I also like the entry for Danny Saucedo, just because of his surname, I keep pronouncing it as "sauce-do" and imagining him with a hairdo of sauce. One Direction for #1, also nice jumps for Matt Corby and Hunter Hayes.

Great debut for Ed Sheeran and also a nice little laugh for me that Saucehead is back in. I should maybe listen to it, but then I might not like it and all the magic of his name will be lost to me. It's a tough call. Great jumps for Carly Rae and Train. I also hope Madonna misses the top.

Shame to see Madonna get to the top, is it there just because it's Madge, or perhaps the Nicki feature helps? Or maybe you like Hollaback Girl wannabes. In any case, I think I'm hoping for ONJ to get there next week. Awesome jumps for Ed Sheeran and Carly Rae and nice gains also for Train and Olly Murs.
