What do you think?

Typical morons putting AC/DC on top. That is all.
It's a long way to the shop if you want a sausage roll.
That is a shit countdown

It seems to be favouring alot of current hits, Moves Like Jagger and Pumped Up Kicks should not be that high ever on any all time list, Same with Lonely Boy, Hot 'N' Cold, Domino, Dedication To My Ex & I Kissed A Girl.

I have a radio station that does a very similar thing as well. I've posted about it before. Let's see if this year's "2012 Essential Countdown" will end up being similar to this.

Shocked at the high placings of PUK, Adele and Gotye. Why does the Adult Contemporary audience/station love So What so much?

Ftr Here's the thread of the 2011 one I posted:
http://www.australian-charts.com/forum.asp?todo=viewthread&search=adult+contemporary&id=36537&pages=#993050

Original Sin and It's A Long Way To The Top were in both top 10s.

I still do wonder where the &$#! is Every Breath You Take
Looks like your average Classic Hits playlist. I'm surprised that Set Fire to the Rain is higher than Rolling In The Deep. Some good tracks, but too many 2011 songs.

Boo AC/DC too

60's - 0
70's - 19%
80's - 41%
90's - 11%
00's - 18%
10's - 11%

But yeah, this station is Adult Contemporary, and I think there was an online music panel who had a say in the countdown. More info in on the link above.

The recent hits aren't a worry to be honest, many BOATs end up being like that because such recent hits are so much more familiar. Just wait a few years and pretty much most of them will be out of the top 100, except there'll be even more recent songs in :/

Also, this is the one thing I made sure of avoiding in my own BOAT, as you've probably noticed already.

Still, the 80s being far and away the best decade is awesome

Surprised that Livin' On A Prayer is not higher
