For starters I want to take a few moments to apologise to everyone for my lack of activity this year so far. This has been mainly due to laziness on my part, but it has also incorporated gaming addictions and real life events. I know I should have continued with my weekly charts, but like I said I was lazy
I will be returning to my weekly charts by next week, but instead of 'backtracking' charts like I did in 2010, I am simply restarting the whole chart. This means that practically every song in the new chart will be considered a new entry. The new chart will also possibly be shorter, depending on how I organise it.
In the next few days I will be presenting what is called a 'catch-up chart', which is a summary of my favourite songs from the last few months since the chart was put into hiatus. A selection of songs from December will appear in this chart, as if they were continuing their chart runs into this year (had I not stopped making my charts).
So please stay tuned for this chart and enjoy what is to come, because things are changing
This chart has been updated to reflect how I like these songs nearly one year after I first heard them. More songs have been added to the list compared to last time, including 'Levels' by Avicii which only received 5 charting weeks in 2011, and was below the Top 100 of 2011 as a result.
Most, if not all of the songs in list will be included in my 2012 End Of Year chart. They will be added to this list in somewhat of a disorderly manner, after the main part of the chart has been compiled using the points system.
This chart precedes the revived 'new' Top 40 weekly chart. Enjoy

Legend: EP = Estimated Peak (with estimated run at #1) Last edited:
I am currently in the process of ordering songs for my brand new chart, set to debut in the next few days! Once I have the new UK chart available tomorrow, I will finalise the chart and post it just after. All of these songs debuted within the last two months, which will make this new chart a fresh one (no oldies)!
I am hoping for alot of action after posting (both the good and bad reviews), so dont disappoint me!
Also importantly, this chart will be cut down to being a Top 40. I want to be able to look forward to making charts every week without the dread of taking two hours to complete, and so I need an easier chart size to work with
Welcome to the revival of my weekly charts! We have now converted to a Top 40, which should make posting quicker and easier to read. Official videos of the #1 songs will be posted on the new Facebook group, but the rest of the chart must be viewed here as usual. Enjoy the new charts!
'Dance Again' by Jennifer Lopez is the lead single of the very first week of my new charts! Standing strong above contenders like 'Let It Go' by Alexandra Burke and 'Lets Go' by Calvin Harris & Ne-Yo, 'Dance Again' stands as JLO's third official #1 single. Except for Deltra Goodrem's 'Sitting On Top Of The World', the whole of the Top 10 contains all dance songs (a rare occurrence on my chart)!

Apologies for this late chart! I had not been feeling great until just recently, and therefore had not been interested in making a chart I hope I will keep up to date in the future for everyone's sake
Jennifer Lopez is #1 again with 'Dance Again', but instead of being trailed by Alexandra Burke, Calvin Harris is now hot on her heels at #2 with 'Lets Go'. Stan Walker also makes a move up the Top 10 to #3 with 'Music Wont Break Your Heart', pushing Alexandra Burke's 'Let It Go' down to #4. The two most prominent changes in the chart go to Lana Del Ray with 'Blue Jeans' which jumps into the Top 10 at #9 (creating her first Top 10 hit), and Ed Sheeran's debut at #14 with 'Small Bump'.
Enjoy the chart!

Yay for Let's Go! Sad to see Wide Awake, One Direction, Gold, Euphoria and Linkin park down though. Go Delta! Great t osee Pitbull and Maroon 5 dropping out though, I like that
Not a lot of crazy action of note but a nice jump for Lana Del Rey. Though I've only heard it once, I do like that Ed Sheeran song so great to see it debut well.
Pity that Wide Awake has tumbled so much, but the fact Karmin and Kelly have debuted helps soften the blow. Also great to see Delta rise. A pretty solid chart.
Here we go again, another late chart! Little changes in the Top 10 this time, as Jennifer Lopez remains at #1 for the 3rd week with 'Dance Again', followed by Calvin Harris and Stan Walker at their same postitions from last week. The only two major changes in the Top 10 are The Saturdays jumping from #10 to #7 and Usher entering the Top 10 with 'Scream'.
That is all that needs to be said for this chart (read the rest of it yourself ). I will try and get the next one up early next week. Enjoy!

Damn, Calvin just couldn't get there. Not to worry, next week! Cheryl's entry is cool but shame that Lana Del Rey didn't rise any further, and also sadface for Linkin Park and Ivan Gough. Having now heard, yay for the small bump for Small Bump.
Oh, I didn't miss reading a chart, you just posted it twice Ed Sheeran & Florence + The Machine rising seems to be the key thing to take note of since just about everything else is down
Here is the change some of you have been expecting, but it is a little different! Instead of Calvin Harris, or even Lana Del Ray (according to one of the predictions) taking over the top spot, Stan Walker decides to take the lead of the Tour De Fox with 'Music Won't Break Your Heart' climbing two places to #1! This makes it his first ever #1 hit (his next best hit was Black Box at a peak #3). This move pushes Jennifer Lopez and Calvin Harris down to #2 and #3, respectively.
The two highest jumps of the week are credited to 'Sparks' by Cover Drive which jumps from #14 to #4, and Justin Bieber's 'As Long As You Love Me' jumping from #33 to #23, but Sparks is more significant here as it is a new Top 10 entry (and many of you dont like Justin Bieber anyway). The Saturdays, Lana Del Ray and Ed Sheeran also make small jumps in the Top 10, with Ed Sheeran scoring his first official Top 10 hit (Lego House being his unofficial first as it is only an estimated peak of #2).
For the rest of the chart, you just have to see it for yourself

I don't hate that Stan Walker track, but I would prefer J-Lo or Calvin on top. Nice to see rises for Lana Del Rey, Florence, Karmin & will.i.am. I'm disappointed that the very ordinary Johnny Ruffo track debuted higher than the far superior Fun track. I hope Fun can overtake him quickly. Other than that, it is a pretty good chart.
I cannot remember the last time I heard that Stan Walker song, it feels so long ago I will satisfy your expectations and say that I'm happy for Florence + The Machine rising, and I'll add Ed Sheeran & Karmin in there too. Happy to see Fun. in and I hope they can get higher.
Surprised to see Johnny Ruffo debut and nice to see Kerrie Roberts, Ed Sheeran going top 10!, Delta, Euphoria and Florence. Maybe Calvin can get #1 next week.
Wow for Stan making #1! I don't love it, but it's better than a lot of other stuff that's out there (even stuff that he has released). Nice ruse for Blue Jeans, Call My Name and Never Let Me Go, and nice to see Some Nights debut.
This was a bloody close Top 2 this time, but Stan Walker holds out at #1 against contender Cover Drive with ‘Sparks’ as it rises from #4 to #2, pushing Jennifer Lopez down to #4 below Calvin Harris (who refused to budge this time). The whole Top 5 this week is very strong, as the popularity gap between #5 and #6 is currently quite large. Also in the Top 10 is the only new entry by Cheryl Cole with ‘Call My Name’ which jumps 7 places to #7.
Many songs get a good jump this week including Amy Macdonald’s ‘Slow It Down’ just missing the Top 10 at #11, Martin Solveig’s ‘The Night Out’ which jumps 5 places to #13, Justin Bieber’s ‘All Around The World’ and ‘As Long As You Love Me’ at #15 and #18, plus Johnny Ruffo’s ‘On Top’ which climbs 8 places to #22.
Enjoy!

DROPOUTS: If Looks Could Kill - Timomatic (LW #37, Peak #20) Whistle – Flo Rida (LW #39, Peak #30) So Good – B.o.B (LW #40, Peak #21)
Prepare to be shocked this week. Debuting at #1 is an unlikely hit by The Temper Trap with 'Trembling Hands', which is their first ever major hit. They also get the distinction of being one of the few Australian artists to displace a fellow Australian artist from the #1 spot (although Stan Walker is part New Zealander as well). This new turn of events leaves Cover Drive staying at #2 with 'Sparks' and Stan Walker dropping to #3 from the top spot.
Further down the chart we have Amy Macdonald with 'Slow It Down' and Martin Solveig with 'The Night Out' entering the Top 10 at #8 and #10, respectively. Some other songs that have gotten notable jumps include 'Calling (Lose My Mind)' by Sebastian Ingrosso & Ryan Tedder, 'As Long As You Love Me' by Justin Bieber, 'On Top' by Johnny Ruffo, and 'Some Nights' by Fun.

Great to see Owl City debut, and Silhouettes rise! I actually don't know your #1 though, but yay it's Temper Trap! A little surprised to see Justice Crew as well, same goes for I Can Only Imagine.
Wow! The Temper Trap is such an unexpected #1 I agree, but it's awesome so great to see that up so high. I hope it doesn't fall quick! Nice rise for Silhouettes and cool to see Good Time debut.
That is a surprising number one, and even more suprising that it debuted there, as number one debuts are quite rare on this site. Shame to see Train stalling, but I am pleased to see rises for Fun, Cheryl & Kerrie Roberts. Nice to see Owl City / Carly Rae and D.Guetta debuting. I like more songs in the bottom half of your chart than the top, but a goos chart overall
Okay, so this chart is REALLY late. I won't mention much except for Cover Drive's rise to the #1 spot with 'Sparks', Florence & The Machine's debut at #2 with 'Spectrum' (the Calvin Harris remix version), Flo Rida debuting at #12 with 'Run', and Avicii jumping to a new peak of #15 with 'Silhouettes'. Adam Lambert and Pink also debut this week.

Adam Lambert has the only significant change in this chart, as his latest song 'Never Close Our Eyes' jumps 11 places to #13.

With Cover Drive and Florence & The Machine holding the Top 2 positions again, we look at the more interesting changes in this chart. Adam Lambert hits the Top 10 with 'Never Close Our Eyes' which jumps 9 places to #4 and equals the peak of his best hit 'For Your Entertainment'. Also in the Top 10 this time is 'Calling (Lose My Mind)' by Sebastian Ingrosso & Ryan Tedder at #9, up from #11.
The biggest jump of the year so far is credited to Train with '50 Ways To Say Goodbye', which jumps 21 places to #15. Can they score another Top 10 hit?

Great to see Ed Sheeran and No Doubt debut this week. Also good to see Some Nights, 50 Ways To Say Goodbye and Everyone's Waiting moving up and Adam Lambert make the top ten!
After seeing it here on your chart, I finally got around to listening to the Madeon song - it's awesome. It'll make a big debut for me next week I think. Last edited:
Cover Drive stays at #1 for a 4th week with 'Sparks', but Florence & The Machine did not stay at #2 this time. Instead debuting at #2 is Ricki-Lee with 'Crazy'. It is her second highest peak so far (after Don't Miss You which peaked at #1 in 2009). While there is not much change in the rest of the chart this week, Train does make its way into the Top 10 at #9 with '50 Ways To Say Goodbye' (it is their second Top 10 hit to date).
Some of the other notable jumps and debuts include 'Get It Started' by Pitbull & Shakira at #15, 'Lolita' by The Veronicas debuting at #18, and 'One More Night' by Maroon 5 at #29 this week.

Cover Drive has lost the crown this week, falling down to #3 with 'Sparks'. Debuting at #1 is Havana Brown with her first EP When The Lights Go Out, although the song charting here is 'You'll Be Mine'. It debuts ahead of 'Crazy' by Ricki-Lee which remains at #2 this week, and it marks the first time this year that two Australian artists have occupied the Top 2 positions!
While there is once again minimal change in the Top 10, there is another Top 10 debut at #10 by Redlight with 'Lost In Your Love'. Further down the chart we have The Veronicas hitting a new peak of #13 with 'Lolita', along with Justice Crew (#15), Fun (#18), Madeon (#25), Maroon 5 (#27), Ed Sheeran (#30), and Calvin Harris (#32) also hitting new peaks this week.
I am so glad I am caught up now! Hope you all enjoy my chart

DROPOUTS: Blue Jeans - Lana Del Ray (LW #34, Peak #7) Everyone's Waiting – Missy Higgins (LW #35, Peak #25) On Top – Johnny Ruffo (LW #38, Peak #19) Blow Me (One Last Kiss) - Pink (LW #39, Peak #31) Taking Over Me - Lawson (LW #40, Peak #40)
So I couldn't help myself with this new #1. 'Explode' is Cover Drive's second #1 hit after 'Sparks' (which is still in the Top 5)! Quite a lot of movement in the Top 10 this time, with the most significant change being Delta Goodrem's new hit 'Dancing With A Broken Heart' jumping 8 places to #8. Justice Crew also scrape into the Top 10 with 'Boom Boom', but some good songs leave the Top 10 as well to even it out.
Notable new debuts and peaks for this chart include 'Some Nights' by Fun at #13, '30 Minute Love Affair' by Paloma Faith at #16, 'Hall Of Fame' by The Script debuting at #18, 'Battle Scars' by Guy Sebastian & Lupe Fiasco at #21, and 'Madness' by Muse debuting at #25 (first charting song since Undisclosed Desires).

I AM FINALLY CAUGHT UP!!! Okay now we have some Top 10 action! The next new #1 hit is by David Guetta & Sia with 'She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)', which is also the first #1 of the year to jump in from outside the Top 10! Cover Drive slips down to #2 with 'Explode', which is wedged in between the new #1 and the highest debut of the week at #3 which is 'Superlove' by Avicii VS Lenny Kravitz.
While pretty much every other Top 10 song from last week falls down the chart, the only one to hang on is The Script's 'Hall Of Fame', which remains at #9 this week. Coming close to the Top 10 is Guy Sebastian's 'Battle Scars', climbing to #14 this week. We also have some other new debuts including Professor Green's 'Avalon' at #21, 'Deepest Shame' by Plan B at #30, 'Million Voices' by Otto Knows at #36, and Flo Rida's 'I Cry' at #39.

Wow, massive jump for D.Guetta. The song took a while for me to warm to, but I am enjoying it. Nice to see rises for Guy, Nicki Minaj, Birdy & Taylor Swift.
A lot less songs that I like since last time I commented But go Taylor, Let's Go, Fun and Skinny Love! I was going to look for We'll Be Coming Back but that already dropped out, I was just getting into that one!
Hey guys! Just wanted to let everyone know that I am still alive and making charts, even if they are late ones! Sometimes certain situations can get in the way and delay some of my charts as you are well aware by now (blame Youtube and World of Warcraft this time!). I have been able to hear some of the new stuff on the radio each weekend, which will help in making these overdue charts
Here is one of them, precisely one month overdue, so enjoy

While I attempt to Say Nothing about The Janoskians debuting (oh I suck ), good to see P!nk and Icona Pop enter. The #1 is cool but I'd hope to see Guy get there somehow. Nice rises for Birdy and Alicia Keys.
Whoo! 3 place rise! Can't complain with that lAlso nice to see Try bullet straight up, Say Nothing kinda rise and Skinny inching ever closer to that top 10! Great to see Trembling Hands and Some Nise all getting good longevity.
My next chart is here, and although there is no change at #1 for a 5th week, I doubt it will beat the length of 'When Love Takes Over', which spent 7 weeks at #1 in 2009. Pink bullets into the Top 10 at #8 with 'Try', and is likely to continue going a little further! Swedish House Mafia also jumps 5 places to #24 this time, an improvement over before
I will try to catch up soon!

DROPOUTS: Some Nights - Fun (LW #31, Peak #10) We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together – Taylor Swift (LW #33, Peak #25) Boom Boom – Justice Crew (LW #36, Peak #10) Call My Name - Cheryl Cole (LW #38, Peak #3) Gangnam Style - PSY (LW #39, Peak #33) Never Tear Us Apart - Paloma Faith (LW #40, Peak #40)
The two bottom debuts are the best ones! Adele of course the best, hope to see that up some more. Sad to lose Fun., but a nice jump for P!nk and she would make a cool #1.
Wow for She Wolf's run at the top! I hope Try could get to the top 10, that rise is awesome. Also great to see One Direction debut and Don't You Worry Child rise up! I'm very happy with 5 places at least Nice also seeing Say Nothing.
Make way for a new #1! It is Pink! 'Try' is her first #1 song since 'I Don't Believe You' in 2009, and is her first #1 of the new chart era (Top 50 and Top 40 inclusive). She Wolf has been dropped down to #3, making 'When Love Takes Over' continue to be David Guetta's biggest hit to date.
There are other major changes to the chart, including a big jump by Alicia Keys with 'Girl On Fire' going from #20 to #7, and is her first Top 10 hit in over 2 years. Bruno Mars scores the highest debut of this chart at #11 with 'Locked Out Of Heaven', but it should be renamed to 'Locked Out Of The Top 10'
BTW, 'Dont You Worry Child' increases its jumping power to 7 positions as it reaches #17 this time.

Try at #1! That's excellent! So great to see that up there, and there are heaps of other awesome rises too, especially Swedish House Mafia!!! Also amazing to see Skinny Love top 10 and One Direction up a few places. As for debuts, Reece is really bad but Locked Out Of Heaven and Taylor Swift are really good, so they balance out those bad parts.
The Disclosure song is cool iirc, and I don't mind IKYWT. However the week does belong to P!nk, what a jump to #1! I actually hoped for that, lulz Also keep rising Adele.
So Pink is #1 again. It wasn't much competition for the #1 spot this time, but Pink may struggle to hold onto it now. Alicia Keys bullets up to #2 with 'Girl On Fire' to become her highest charting single to date, surpassing that made by 'No One' which peaked at #3 in 2007! We also have Bruno Mars 'unlocking' his Top 10 placing (yeah that is lame) by jumping to #6 with 'Locked Out Of Heaven', and if continues to rise it just may become his highest charting song as well.
Swedish House Mafia finally reaches the Top 10 at #9 with 'Dont You Worry Child'. How far it will go up the Top 10 is currently a mystery, but I do not think it has the potential to reach #1 (Top 5 maybe). Nicki Minaj's 'Va Va Voom' jumps 7 places to #12 this week, and is currently at least 3 positions away from being her highest charting solo hit as well (what is it with me and records right now).

"I do not think it has the potential to reach #1" awwww we'll see, but so awesome to see it bullet!
Awesome rise for Bruno, no longer locked out and great to see P!nk at #1 again. Also liking the Delta debut and the great rise for Live While We're Young. I should give Superlove a listen too.
Quick chart post just for Anton! Will edit later with commentary

Once again not the biggest fan of Girl On Fire but it's not bad. Va Va Voom is my least favourite of the top 10 songs i know, hopefully Locked Out Of Heaven can sneak into that top 5 soon. I also heard Superlove this morning and I find it pretty good. May hit my chart if it's lucky.
Also great to see Fun debut, and Everything Has Changed from what i've heard is nice too. Is it a single?
Sweet Nothing is growing on me, nice to see that too.
Here is the chart that I believe was supposed to be my birthday chart. I must admit that I did have to change my #1 a couple of times, but here is the end result

Best part is that Swedish House Mafia is still at #3 Sad to see Everything Has Changed already out, hopefully it becomes a future single so it can chart again. Great debut for Matchbox Twenty too.
Awesome to see Try at #1, although I'm glad that Girl On Fire could manage a week! Nice rise for Sweet Nothing, Trouble and Wish You Were Here. Cool to see Rita Ora debut as well.
Fresh #1 and #2 this time! The Wanted scores their first ever #1 hit with 'I Found You', beating their previous peak of #2 by 'Lightning'. Matchbox Twenty takes a massive leap up to #2 with 'Put Your Hands Up' and is their first ever Top 10 hit. While Pink and Alicia Keys drop to the lower half of the Top 5, Swedish House Mafia remain consistent at #3 with 'Dont You Worry Child'.
There are a number of other jumps and debuts in the chart, so take a look through, I am not typing it all out!

Little Mix and Matchbox Twenty remain at #1 and #2 this time with 'DNA' and 'Put Your Hands Up', however is a sad day for Swedish House Mafia as they finally start their descent down the chart to #6 from #3 previously. 'Dont You Worry Child' did manage to spend 4 weeks at #3 and is one of their most successful tracks on my chart.
'Something New' by Girls Aloud is the highlight track of the week, debuting at #4 between The Wanted and Calvin Harris. Their only other charting single was 'Biology' which reached #5 on my old Top 20 chart, which makes this new song their best already. Christina Aguilera also hits the Top 10 with her latest hit 'Your Body', which jumps from #16 to #9 and is actually her first solo Top 10 hit in over two years!
Other notable new debuts and peaks include 'Troublemaker' by Olly Murs which debuts at #15, 'Take It Home' by Johnny Ruffo at #18, 'Tidal Wave' by Sub Focus at #22, and 'I Love It' by Icona Pop which re-enters the chart at #24.

Girls Aloud score their first ever #1 hit with 'Something New' and is easily their best hit to date. Little Mix and Matchbox Twenty are pushed down to #2 and #3 respectively, while 'Sweet Nothing' by Calvin Harris & Florence Welch edges up another spot to #4. While there are very little debuts this time, the Top 10 continues to receive action as Olly Murs bullets 9 places to #6 with 'Troublemaker' to become his highest charting song to date.
Kesha re-enters the chart with 'Die Young' at #9 to score herself another Top 10 hit (a total of 7 hits as a main artist). Just outside the Top 10 is Justin Bieber's 'Beauty And A Beat' at #11, which is likely to reach the Top 10 next time
There are still notable new peaks in the chart which includes 'Take It Home' by Johnny Ruffo hitting a peak of #14, 'I Love It' by Icona Pop which reaches a new peak of #17, 'What You've Done To Me' by Samantha Jade making a big jump from #36 to 21, and 'Wings' by Little Mix also hitting a new peak of #23.

Despite most of the debuts entering in the lower half of the chart, there is still some big action going on. While Girls Aloud and Little Mix hold down the fort at #1 and #2 again, there are still at least 4 songs jumping in the Top 10, the most significant one being 'What You've Done To Me' by Samantha Jade, which jumps 14 places up to #7, and is one of the very few singing competition winners to have a debut single reach the Top 10!
Justin Bieber also hits the Top 10 for the 3rd time with 'Beauty And A Beat', his previous songs 'Love Me' and 'Somebody To Love' being his only other songs to reach the Top 10 to date. As the rest of the chart is mostly uneventful for a mention in this commentary, I will finish by saying that as we near the end of the year, hopefully I will be caught up in time to compile my End Of Year chart early next month.
As I will be combining my weekly charts with the Summer & Autumn summary chart you saw earlier in the year (along with some songs from December 2011), this EOY chart of mine will be the most interesting one to make. Lets see how it goes!

Absolutely horrible to see Tulisa and Pitbull entering (thankfully it's low though), 2 of the years worst singles!
Great to see Little Mix, Sam Jade and Olly Murs climbing!
Fantastic top 2! Your best yet - both have been big hits for me, both reaching #1 for multiple weeks. Also great to see The Wanted snapped up a week at #1!
Girls Aloud spend a third week at #1 with 'Something New' ahead of Little Mix who also spend a third week at #2 with 'DNA'. So far, I don't yet know how long this trend will continue, as Samantha Jade bullets up to #3 with 'What You've Done To Me', which could break the trend soon. Elsewhere in the Top 10, we have some new entries from outside the Top 10 including 'Take it Home' by Johnny Ruffo which leaps from #12 to #7, and 'I Love It' by Icona Pop which finally cracks the Top 10 at #9.
Outside the Top 10 we have a good number of climbers this time, notably 'Tidal Wave' by Sub Focus at #13, 'Get Along' by Guy Sebastian jumping 9 places to #16, 'Right Now' by Rihanna & David Guetta at #19, and 'Bom Bom' by Sam And The Womp jumping 6 places to #25. Surprisingly, most of the debuts this week reside in the same genre, with the exception of Ellie Goulding

Girls Aloud and Little Mix continue their lead of the chart again this week, remaining at #1 and #2 (with Girls Aloud now spending 4 weeks at the top) and forcing Samantha Jade to stay at #3 with ‘What You’ve Done To Me’. This week we have a new Top 5 entry all the way from outside the Top 10. Sub Focus jumps all the way from #13 to #4 with ‘Tidal Wave’ to claim his first ever Top 10 hit. While the rest of the Top 10 has little movement, another new Top 10 entry by Guy Sebastian with ‘Get Along’ reaches #10 this week to claim another of his Top 10 hits (I can’t remember how many now).
Much of the rest of the chart this week is uninteresting, however we do have a couple of good movements, most notably ‘When I Was Your Man’ by Bruno Mars which takes the highest jump of the week from #28 to #15. Other artists which take a climb include Rihanna & David Guetta with ‘Right Now’ at #16, Justice Crew with ‘Best Night’ at #19, and Sam And The Womp with ‘Bom Bom’ at #22.

Here is my final chart of 2012, right on time! Girls Aloud have lost their #1 position to a 'Tidal Wave' that sweeps them off their feet and down to #2 with 'Something New'. Sub Focus has scored the final #1 song of the year with his first and only #1 and Top 10 hit to date. Even Little Mix is pushed down to #4 because Samantha Jade is holding her position at #3 for a third week.
Bruno Mars grabs his next Top 10 hit with 'When I Was Your Man' which jumps ten places to #5, which makes it his 7th Top 10 hit to date. Guy Sebastian is also climbing the Top 10 up to #7 with 'Get Along', but it is unlikely it will overtake the peak of 'Battle Scars'.
Only a small amount of songs get any good jumps this week, including 'Bom Bom' by Sam And The Womp which jumps 8 places to #14, 'Kiss You' by One Direction which reaches #21, 'Figure 8' by Ellie Goulding which jumps 9 places to #24, and 'Lies' by Burns which peaks at #26.

Yeah, I need to hear the new #1. And while I'm at it, the old #1 Still good to see Locked Out of Heaven in there, and good to see MB20 and Icona Pop in the top 10 still.
Just to let everyone know that my Summer & Autumn 2012 Favourites chart has been updated! This is an important change at it will reflect how my 2012 End Of Year Chart will turn out.
Thanks for the support you guys gave me when I returned to making charts
Welcome to my End Of Year chart for 2012! A lot of interesting stuff has happened this year with my chart, and creating this list was very difficult. I have used my best judgement to combine the regular list with all of the estimated peak songs from early in the year. Nothing was just slotted in at random, they were carefully placed to indicate the most realistic placement if the songs did actually chart.
Anyway, every song that you see which does not have any points are considered Estimated Peak songs. I have also estimated the run at #1 for them as well. A timeline of the #1 songs from this year will be added later to the top of this thread.
Finally, you will notice a difference in the points calculation compared to 2010 and 2011. This is due to the reduction of the chart to a Top 40, and also the reduction in required points for accreditations. An updated points system will be added to this thread in the near future.
I hope this chart will be as exciting to read as it was for me to create. Enjoy!
Most of my favourites didn't make it too far up the list sadly, but hooray for both Fun. songs, Birdy, Delta, Icona Pop, Lana Del Rey, Bruno, Ed Sheeran and The Temper Trap!
