Savagegrant, I don't know about you but I find the year end is easy enough to predict (allowing for a 5 place difference either side of it's rank).
I'll try to prove my point below.
3 weeks ago I posted on here or UK MIX (forget which one) what I thought the top 50 year end would look like mid year and to be honest it was a 10 minute job and not much thought really went into it. Furthermore, I was overseas for the first part of the year and didn't particularly follow the charts closely during that time.

So what I am trying to say is that there isn't too much suspense or surprise when it comes to year end (to date) charts.
Yes I did get 4 or 5 songs out of 50 off by 10 or more places but as I said not much time was put into it and my absence at the beginning of the year played a part as well as not knowing when the sales date actually started. I should also note that some songs currently charting within the top 10 or 20 I was expecting bigger things from (M5 & JM in particular).
I imagine some regular posters on here and more avid chart lovers than myself such as Bulion, Innocent Eyes, Hijinx, antonnalan, Chris A, BillyBrett, NateBoi and yourself to name a few would probably have done a much better job if given some thought and time at prediciting than me and would also not be too surprised with how songs rank.
And as for the Channel V Mid Year Report Countdown that aired today I turned it on and they were at #24. Fight For You - Jason DeRulo followed by #23. This Is Love - WillIAm/Eva Simons.
I figured this was fake and made up and turned it off to then come online to see this thread.
