I'm finally back on Auscharts and here's my first personal chart back .It's only a top 10 for now but hopefully I can expand on that This week Two Door Cinema Club reach number one and Flume are not far behind them
Love them all, Two Door Cinema Club at #1 is very cool. I honestly thought Dead and Gone or Trembling Hands would get there, but at least they're up there.
I probably prefer Don't Stop just over Need Your Love, I've grown tired of the latter tbh. In any case, yay for Two Door Cinema Club still on top and great rises for Local Natives and Deep Sea!
Ooh yay, with a top 20 I might not struggle to find something new to say every week Good to see Mumford & Sons make a strong impression and The Black Keys rising up right behind.
Cool to see Same Love still #1 and I Will Wait up to #2, Great debuts for TDCC - Sun, This Fire, Panic Station, Feels Like We Only Go Backwards, I Love It, Mountain Sound & My Life (No pressure by your brother on that one? ) Last edited:
Debuts are far more scattered than I'd have assumed, based on my own chart expanding experience Nice to see Birds of Tokyo, Muse, Tame Impala & Of Monsters and Men particularly as beneficiaries.
1 1 SAME LOVE MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS FEAT. MARY LAMBERT 2 3 I WILL WAIT MUMFORD & SONS 7 8 R U MINE? ARCTIC MONKEYS 8 NEW THIS FIRE BIRDS OF TOKYO 9 7 HOLDIN ON FLUME 10 NEW PANIC STATION MUSE 12 10 BREAKERS LOCAL NATIVES 13 NEW I LOVE IT ICONA POP 16 9 TREMBLING HANDS THE TEMPER TRAP 17 NEW MOUNTAIN SOUND OF MONSTERS AND MEN 20 5 DON'T STOP (COLOR ON THE WALLS) FOSTER THE PEOPLE
Trembling survived and passed some other song, yay! Particularly liking the entries for Birds of Tokyo, Of Monsters And Men, Icona Pop, Muse, Tame Impala and TDCC.
Cool entries all round even though I'd never chart I Love It. I hope SL can outlast IWW, unless Flume or TDCC could get there! Or better yet, Of Monsters and Men! I hope they can rise some more. Great to see 50 Cent sneak in as well, I didn't realise you liked that
Eh, I would never chart Lanterns that high. I'm happy for it though. I reckon TDCC would be excellent at #1, but so would Of Monsters & Men. I suppose I can't lose anyway Ouch for Thrifty, and naww Fiddy
Looks like Mumford & Sons have waited patiently to reach #1
Anyway, I like I Will Wait, Same Love, Sleepless, Sun, Lanterns, Mountain Sound, Little Black Submarines, This Fire, I Love It, Panic Station, Feels Like We Only Go Backwards, Holdin On, Thrift Shop, Don't Stop (Colour On The Walls), Dead And Gone, and Trembling Hands. Ouch R U Mine?
Well there you have it, they waited. The Black Keys entering is cool, maybe that can be the next #1? For some reason I can see Birds of Tokyo getting there, although they'd probably have to go top 5 next week to have some sort of chance of that happening. Shame to lose Arctic Monkeys.
Great to see Same Love #1 and Sun right behind at #2, Cool rises aswell for Of Monsters And Men, Birds Of Tokyo, Tame Impala & The Temper Trap, yay that Fun. debut!
Oh, everyone's charting Why Am I The One now but it's too old for me That doesn't stop it from being a good song though. Nice to see Same Love grab #1, but ouch Mumford & Sons. Also good jumps for Of Monsters and Men & Tame Impala.
lol Rihanna sticks out like a sore thumb, and I don't necessarily approve of her replacing Muse Nice to see The Black Keys & Fun. jump into the top 10 though.
I guess I can approve of the Rihanna debut since I like it now, but it does seem very out of place here, even more so than on your brother's chart I think. Great jumps for Fun and BoT.
Rihanna does look more out of place on a smaller chart, I agree but still yay nevertheless. Shame to lose Muse but it's been around for a while. Ouch British India! Cool to see Black Keys and Fun. make solid moves but I would love to see TDCC snatch #1 next week.
So awesome to see Same Love on top. I count seven weeks on top which is such a good run. Awesome! Nice to see Why Am I The One moving up and Stay debuting.
Surprised, but nice to see Macklmore & Ryan Lewis still on top. Awesome to see Sun, Sleepless, Why Am I The One, Lanterns, I Love It, Thrift Shop, Summer Forgive Me, This Fire, Mountain Sound, I Will Wait, Stay, Feels Like We Only Go Backwards, Suit & Tire, Little Black Submarines, and Holdin On!
Nice to see Same Love on top, but with the great jump for Fun I'll be hoping they can take over next. Good jumps also for Thrifty, Brindia, Icona Pop, Rihanna and the Birds. Cool entry for Justin Timberlake too.
Surprised to see Stay debut since last time I commented! Justin Timberlake is a bit of a surprise too but your brother likes it so okay. Yay for Thrift Shop, This Fire, Mountain Sound, I Will Wait, Tame Impala and Fun again.
