The existing Top 100 Singles site thread is already massive so I've decided to create a separate one just for site and list updates. Previous updates, a reference list of the site's audio and other information about my site can be found here:
I've finally corrected all references to ARIA when it comes to lists that feature AMR-only chart entries. It's something that I should have done a long time ago but it required a rewrite of the site's code and new image files to be created, so I put it on the back burner. ;P
Changes have been made to list descriptions, column headers and legends/keys. Also, lists containing mixed AMR/ARIA chart entries are now referenced as 'AUS' rather than 'ARIA'.
All yearly lists on the site now have shortcut links to the previous and next list in the sequence. You can find them at the top and the bottom of every list. So now when you want to browse some yearly lists in order, you no longer need to go back the top of the page and risk accidentally clicking on a year from the wrong section. lol
Oh, and I'll probably do some links for all of the decade lists and the multi-part Every Australian Artist to Chart list sometime later when I'm up for writing more code (I spent hours yesterday trying find a particular bug in the new code - it's probably a good thing that computer programming isn't my day job! haha)
Over 81% of the songs in the full 2007 ARIA list have audio now (275 of the 336 entries). As I've mentioned previously, the full 2008-2015 ARIA lists all have complete audio so I'll probably take a short break* then start on the remaining four months of 2007 (September to December) and work backwards towards 1990 this time around. Audio for 1963 songs has been added to the 1990-2007 lists in these past six months.
*I'll be posting lists for the '50s in the meantime.
I'll resume the posting of audio for the full ARIA lists shortly but before that I'll be focusing on a couple of other lists first. I'm hoping to change to a weekly posting schedule in which I start work on a list of audio on a Monday and post it on Wednesday/Thursday, rather than the gruelling post-every-third-day schedule I've stuck to for most of the year so far (it's always at minimum a three-day process).
