Yep that’s right, I’m back! Had HSC last year so was too slack to really be consistent with a PC so didn’t bother with one, but the stress and time consumption is done with therefore the chart will run once again! Starting off the year with the track that would have spent most of the last two months of last year at #1, Little Mix’s “Touch”, at the top spot. The girls fend off Tiffany Evans and Fetty Wap’s “On Sight” and Ariana Grande’s “Knew Better / Forever Boy”, which both spent a week at #1 to finish off the year. Other tracks still in the chart that were massive hits for me last year included Masika Kalysha and Fetty Wap’s “Andale”, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s “Side to Side, Kehlani’s “Distraction”, Moniece Slaughter’s “Bad Bitches Do”, Fifth Harmony’s “That’s My Girl” and again Masika Kalysha’s “Black Cinderella”.
Didn't even notice your chart thread until a few minutes ago I like how you still have a mix of typical R&B artists that you've loved for as long as I've been on the site + a mix of more well known tracks. I have to admit I'm not that into Touch, so I'm glad Shout Out To My Ex is in here too as that one is better. I also like seeing Sexual!!, I Would Like, That's My Girl, Side To Side, The Greatest, Black Barbies, Let Me Love You, Black Beatles and Love$ick. I hope you can keep your personal chart going for the whole year this time
A lot of movement! Seven new entries, as well as expanding the chart to a top 30. Despite all the movement, Little Mix remain on top. In fact, the entire top 3 stay stagnant. The highest new entry comes in at #4 for Kehlani with her new release "Undercover". The two dropouts come from Alicia Keys and Rae Sremmurd, who both peaked in the top 10.
Another week, another week at the top for Little Mix and Touch. This one though they had to work a little bit harder for though, as Ariana Grande's Knew Better / Forever Boy went neck-and-neck with it for most of the week, until Little Mix released the video for Touch which pushed it ahead. Big rise for Pnau into the top ten and the biggest entry for the week goes to Sia.
All brilliant debuts last week! I dislike The Mack but the other three debuts this week ate all good. Touch is growing so pleased to see it at #1, while I like that Chameleon, Capsize, Now And Later and Frozen are all moving up. I've really missed you having a chart on the site.
The Little Mix march on top continues. The added airplay, video release and increasing rise on the iTunes chart pays off as my support of "Touch" is higher than ever. Unlike last week though there was absolutely no competition as the girls did easy. Not only that, they also have the only entry of the week as their Glory Days album track "F.U." enters.
