It's a seventh week at No.1 in Australia for the song "Despacito" for Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber, and in the process it becomes the longest running chart-topper for a Puerto Rican act in Australia.

From the 21st of June in 1998 (19 years ago) for six weeks Ricky Martin double-A sided track (here) "Cup of Life" and "Maria" reigned for six weeks, and as Ricky is from Puerto Rico, the current No.1 song "Despacito" beats his stay at the top to claim the longest running No.1 for an act from that country (they are the only two acts so far). And Justin equals his longest run at the top, as his track "Love Yourself" also spent seven weeks at No.1 from mid-December 2015 until the end of January 2016.

The other feat that JB accomplishes this week is to notch up his 22nd overall week at No.1 in Australia (and this decade), moving him to outright second on the list for 'Accumulated Weeks at No.1: 2010's; Singles', one week behind the 23 racked up by Rihanna. Plus he is outright 29th on the list for 'Accumulated Weeks at No.1: 1940 to 2017', one week shy of beating John Farnham's record, and two weeks behind the tally for Michael Jackson and Flo Rida (24 overall weeks at #1). The song is also now one of six songs that have stayed at the top for seven weeks during this decade, following on from "Someone Like You" by Adele (2011), "Thrift Shop" for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (2012), and last years "One Dance" for Drake and "Say You Won't Let Go" by James Arthur.

Speaking of Rihanna, she is right behind the ensemble at the top in a group-track of her own at No.2, as she appears on the new DJ Khaled track along with Bryson Tiller entitled "Wild Thoughts", which is up two places to a new peak of No.2 from last weeks debut position at No.4, and if Rihanna takes over the top spot next week she will stretch her lead of overall weeks at No.1 in Australia, plus it will also give DJ Khaled his second No.1 for this year, as his former chart-topper "I'm the One" is back up one place to No.4, also featuring Justin Bieber with rappers Quavo, Lil' Wayne and Chance the Rapper, plus the track achieves 2x▲Platinum in sales this week, and over on the albums chart his new album "Grateful" debuts at No.7.

There are two JB and DJ Khaled tracks within the Top 5, but there are also two songs again by former One Direction members within the five, as last weeks No.2 "Strip That Down" for Liam Payne featuring Quavo (he also appears on two Top 5 entries this week) is down one spot to No.3 and "Slow Hands" for Niall Horan falls back two to No.5 (where it was two weeks ago), and with Niall in the country this week on a promo tour (and appearing on 'The Voice: Grand Final' on Sunday night), the song could again reboud next week.

Shawn Mendes is back up one spot to No.6 with "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" (which could climb again next week after his Graham Norton appearance this past Friday 30th June), and scoring his third Top 10 hit in Australia is Jonas Blue with William Singe and their track "Mama" is up four spots to a new peak of No.7, also giving William his first solo Top 10 and second overall visit, as his former bands' (The Collective) first entry "Surrender" debuted and peaked at No.6 in December of 2012. Justin Bieber has three Top 10 guest appearances this week, as his David Guetta guest spot on "2U" is down two places to No.8, and Miley Cyrus is down one spot to No.9 with "Malibu". The second entry to the Top 10 this week is Charlie Puth with "Attention", which is up two places this week to No.12, becoming his fifth Top 10 entry in Australia from five chart entries.

* Imagine Dragons new Top 5 Albums Chart debut helps their current singles chart entries to climb, as "Thunder" blasts up seven spots to No.12, and older entry "Believer" (HP-33) is back up eleven to No.51.
* Returning to it's former peak of No.13, up one spot, is Selena Gomez and "Bad Liar".

* Ed Sheeran cracks 133 weeks within the Top 100 with "Thinking Out Loud", up two to No.80.
* Other than J.Mauboy's re-entry, there are two more tracks back in the Top 100 this week, "Loyalty" (HP-20) for Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna at No.88 and "Touch Me" by Starley (HP-65) at No.95, for its second week in the Top 100.
* Up one spot to No.89 is Rag'N'Bone Man with "Human", which is now 2x▲Platinum in sales.

* For the first time since it entered the chart the Ed Sheeran track "Shape of You" (HP-1x15, WI10-24) leaves the Top 10, down two spots to No.11, and whilst it is now the longest running No.1 in Australia, it is one of four with the most weeks in the Top 10 (it just needed one more week to become outright leader), plus a former contender for No.1 in "Humble." (HP-2, WI10-12) for Kendrick Lamar drops down four places yo No.14.
* After a new album's chart entry boost back into the Top 20 last week, the Lorde track "Green Light" is down four to No.19, with three further Top 100 entries sliding down this week, "Perfect Places" (44 to 57), "Liability" (63 to 83) and "Sober" (61 to 93).

* Snakehips descend eighteen spots to No.77 with "Don't Leave".
* Katy Perry is in the country on a promo tour and appeared on The Voice Grand Final on Sunday night, and whilst "Swish Swish" is up four to No.44, her previous entries move down, with "Bon Appetit" dropping twenty-three to No.100 and "Chained to the Rhythm" leaves the Top 100 after nineteen weeks within the chart.

* #39 - Signs by Drake was written and used for the recent Louis Vuitton fashion show, and it does not feature on any of his album (yet), and is one of three current entries on the chart for the Canadian artist, alongside his "Passionfruit" (TW-54) and his track "One Dance" (TW-97).

* #43 - Location by Khalid is a nine month old song, which debuts on a Gold (●) sales certification, having reached No.16 in the US and No.11 in New Zealand so far, the track is taken from his debut set "American Teen", which finally cracks the Top 50 this week, plus this is one of three Top 100 appearances for the 19 year old from El Paso, Texas; he is also on the current Logic track "1-800-273-8255" (TW-56) and Calvin Harris' "Rollin'" (TW-67).

* #53 - Bridge Over Troubled Water by Artists for Grenfell is benefit record for the victims of the June Grenfell Tower fire in London, with such acts as Robbie Williams, Rita Ora, Craig David, Jessie J., Dua Lipa, James Blunt almogst the many artists and instruments performed by Brian May, Nile Rogers and Pete Townshend, plus the song debuted at No.1 in the UK last week, and is at No.2 there this week, whilst it sits at #13 on the digital chart this week. This also becomes the fifth time that a cover of the Simon & Garfunkel song has charted here in Australia. Their version hit No.2 for four weeks from early May in 1970, whilst Anthony Callea hit No.1 in March 2005 with his rendition, and further sing-show renditions were done by Jackson Thomas (The Voice 2014, HP-52) and Dami Im (HP-15, Oct 2013) and the first cover was by Linda Clifford in June 1979 (HP-86).

* #64 - Hallelujah by Judah Kelly (The Voice 2017) is the first contestant from The Voice's current season to have made it onto the charts this year, and with the Grand Final on Sunday (2nd July), we should see more acts from the show on the chart next week. This cover of the Leonard Cohen track is the fifth version to chart here in Australia.

* #82 - Big Fish by Vince Staples is the first solo entry and second overall chart appearance for the California rapper, this being the title track from his second album (which also enters this week), whilst his first chart entry was on the Flume track "Smoke & Retribution" (HP-23, Feb 2016).

* #91 - Whatever it Takes by Imagine Dragons is the third song to chart from the bands just released third album "Evolve" which debuts on the albums chart this week too, plus this becomes the bands third Top 100 entry for the week (see above in the 'UP' section for the other two), and overall this is their eleventh chart entry here.

* #96 - If They Only Knew by Alfie Arcuri is the second chart entry for The Voice 2016 winner, who sang this song on the show last weekend, and it follows on from his winners single entry from 50 weeks ago (18th July, 2016) "Cruel" which spent a week on the chart peaking at No.89.

For a fourth time Ed Sheeran's "÷ (Divide)" returns to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart, racking up its fourteenth overall week at No.1 in Australia.

Ed also returned to the top in the UK this week after his Glastonbury Music Festival appearance, and here he also racks up his 23rd overall week at No.1, placing him outright 21st on the list for 'Accumulated Weeks at No.1: Albums 1965-2017', one week behind the 24wks racked up by Celine Dion, Creedence and Eminem. As for this decades accumulated list, Ed is now equal second along with Pink having both notched up 23 weeks at the top during this decade (Adele is at the top on 40 weeks). "÷ (Divide)" has also spent as long at the top as "So Far So Good" (1993/4) for Bryan Adams, "Only By the Night" (2008/9) for Kings of Leon and "Christmas" for Michael Buble (2011/12/13/14 and 2017) from its five runs at the top.

Two of last weeks four Top 10 debut survive for a second week within the ten, as "Melodrama" for Lorde drops down a spot to No.2 after coming into the chart at the top last week, and Nickelback see their "Feed the Machine" set move down two places to No.5 this week. The two final Top 10 survivors came into the ten three weeks ago, "Truth is a Beautiful Thing" for London Grammar and "Witness" for Katy Perry both move down four places to No.9 and No.10 respectively, but with Katy in the country and on The Voice on Sunday night, her album should last another week or two.

The highest new entry is the tenth studio album for King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard entitled "Murder of the Universe", coming in at No.3 this week, and becoming the bands second Top 3 entry, as back in March they debuted and peaked at No.2 with their ninth album "Flying Microtonal Banana", and before the year is out they expect to release a third set entitled "Sketches of Brunswick East". And by coming in at No.4, the third album "Evolve" for Imagine Dragons becomes the bands third successive album to peak at No.4, as their first entry "Night Visions" climbed to that peak in August of 2013, then their second set "Smoke + Mirrors" debuted and peaked at No.4 in late February 2015. This new album has three Top 100 entries (see singles chartifacts), the highest of which is "Thunder" up to No.12 this week.

There are two repackaged albums returning to the Top 10 this week, both of which return at higher chart peaks than they originally achieved during their 1997 chart runs. Radiohead's third album "OK Computer" debuted and peaked at No.7 in late June of 1997, and now the 20th Anniversary edition of the album retitled "OK Computer: OKnotOK 1997-2017" is back in at No.6 this week. The new set containing a bonus eleven track CD of unreleased and rare recordings from the album, and it racks up its overall third week within the Top 10. Grinspoon have also issued a 20th anniversary edition of their debut set "Guide to Better Living", which by debuting at No.8 gives the album its first week within the Top 10 ever, as it debuted and peaked at No.11 in late September, 1997, later climbing back into the Top 20 in April of 1998. This new edition features bonus tracks, and the band will be touring the country in support of the album, plus the album is newly certified 2x▲Platinum in sales. The fifth and final Top 10 debut for this week is the tenth studio album for current Top 5 Singles Chart occupant DJ Khaled, with "Grateful" coming in at No.7 and becoming his second chart and Top 10 entry, as his ninth set "Major Key" debuted and peaked at No.6 in August of 2016.

* A third re-packaged classic album returns to the chart this week, the 1984 album and soundtrack for "Purple Rain" by Prince (HP-1x1, peaked August 1984), which now contains a bonus disc of unreleased material from the film, plus a further expanded edition with remixes, single versions and further songs cut from the original set.
