Daryl Braithwaite is to be inducted into ARIA Hall of Fame
I'm kind of surprised that he hasn't been already, Sherbet aside.
I've updated all the winners, except the Outstanding Digital Service one which doesn't seem to be on ARIA's website so does it still exist? Let me know if you know
Quite an underwhelming echo chamber for Australian music this year.
I literally forgot it was even on lol.
I don't watch it anymore. It may as well be a JJJ awards show.
It's almost like commercial radio doesn't give a shit about Australian music hey
True dat ;(
Have to say though, I haven't had the time & patience to watch the actual show myself either. It doesn't help that WA is so delayed that I'd have to go on social media lockdown for like 5-6 hours to watch it unspoiled

Did watch some of the performances though, Gang Of Youths & Harry Styles put on quite a show with a lot of energy, and Paul Kelly/A.B Original & Peking Duk/Jess Mauboy made for great collabs.
Jess Mauboy got screwed over again, but other than that it was actually surprisingly enjoyable.
BTW "Outstanding Digital Service" was awarded to Spotify

Also, an article on Wednesday about the lack of AU in the charts atm:

Cheers!
