The Post Malone and 21 Savage rap-hip-hop track "Rockstar" retains its lead on the ARIA Singles Chart for a seventh straight week.

"Rockstar" is now the equal seventh longest running No.1 this decade alongside other seven-week-strectches for such songs as "Someone Like You" by Adele (2011), "Thrift Shop" for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (almost this week in 2012), "Love Yourself" for Justin Bieber (2015/16), "One Dance" by Drake and "Say You Won't Let Go for James Arthur both from 2016, and the song is now the second longest running 'Rock' titled track behind 10 weeks runners "I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker" for Sandi Thom (2006), "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO (2011) and "Eagle Rock" for Daddy Cool (1971).

The new Canadian No.1 and the current Irish and English chart-topper is "Havana" by Camila Cabello with Young Thug, and here it stays at No.2 for a fourth week, although it is the No.1 digital selling track of the week, it lacks behind Post Malone's streams, but thankfully the track is newly certified 2x▲Platinum in sales, and former No.1 "Too Good at Goodbyes" by Sam Smith jumps back up seven places to land at No.3 thanks to add-on sales from his second album coming in at No.2.

Sam's jump pushes down "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran to No.4 and recent visitor to our shores in Khalid with "Young, Dumb & Broke", that track also scoring a 2x▲Platinum cert this week, and the 19 year-old rapper also lands a second entry to the Top 10 this week, as his collaboration with Marshmello and "Silence" jumps up three places to land at No.9 and it becomes his third Top 10 in Australia (all occurring in the past two months). Another rap act who has two Top 10 entries this week is Post Malone, who stays at his peak-from-last-week of No.6 with "I Fall Apart".

Scoring their tenth Top 10 single in Australia this week are Maroon 5, as their latest single "What Lovers Do" halves its position from last week and climbs seven places to land at No.7, and becomes the second single from their Top 10 debuting album "Red Pill Blues" after "Don't Wanna Know" hit No.6 a year ago (14-Nov-2016). After two weeks at a peak of No.5 the Portugal. The Man track "Feel it Still" slips back down three places to No.8, and after a slight surge last week the Dua Lipa track "New Rules" returns to No.10 for a fourth time.

UP:
* Marshmello has two upward moving track this week, as his second entry which debuted last week at No.15 in "Wolves" featuring Selena Gomez is up a couple of spots to a new peak of No.13.
* Scoring her third Top 20 entry and now second highest charted track is Hailee Steinfeld and "Let Me Go", as the Alesso and Florida Georgia Line featured track rises four to No.17.
* Six from six as Charlie Puth lands his sixth consecutive Top 20 hit in Australia, with his newest song "How Long" moving up five places to land at a new peak of No.19 this week.
* Rapper NF continues his rise with his first entry "Let You Down", up four to No.27.
* Post Malone is spending a third non-consecutive week at his peak of No.30 with "Congratulations".
* Lil' Pump jumps thirteen places to score a new chart height of No.32 with his "Gucci Gang" track.
* Cardi B is up one spot to a new peak of No.33 with her "Bodak Yellow" single.
* The other charting "Let You Down" by Peking Duk with Icona Pop cracks the Top 40 for the first time, up twelve places this week to No.37 thanks to their current national tour.
* With the second Sam Smith album debuting high this week, his other entries also climb, with "Pray" (former peak #45) bulleting forty-seven spots to land at a new peak of No.41, and last weeks entry of "Burning" heats up five places to score a new peak at No.75.
* British comedian and rapper Big Shaq sees his entry from last week "Man's Not Hot" jump up twenty-one places to land at No.47.
* Rita Ora's "Anywhere" song becomes her ninth Top 50 entry as it moves up eight places to land at a new peak of No.49.
* Khalid has two songs certified this week, as "Location" is up two to No.51 and now 2x▲Platinum.
* "Bedroom Floor" for Liam Payne debuted at No.52 three weeks ago, and then fell to No.58 last week, but rises back up five places to land at No.53 this week.
* The new Cheat Codes track with Fetty Wap entitled "Feels Great" jumps up twenty-one spots to score a new peak of No.54.
* The Imagine Dragons track "Believer" is back up five spots to No.71, possibly due to it being played in the TV promo's for the soon-to-be-released "Justice League" film this coming week, and the bands newer single "Whatever it Takes" returns to the chart at a new peak of No.89, whilst the only other returning track to the Top 100 is the Guy Sebastian single "Bloodstone" (HP-90) at No.94.

DOWN:
* Leaving the Top 10 for a second time is the Macklemore and Kesha teaming on "Good Old Days" (HP-8, WI10-2a), which is down three places to No.11, and the second and final Top 10 exit is for the Zayn and Sia collaboration "Dusk Till Dawn" (HP-6x2, WI10-8), down three spots also, to No.12 and it's the first time the track has left the Top 10 too.
* Pink is down three places to No.20 with "What About US', whilst her teaming with Eminem on the track "Revenge" drops twenty-two places to No.59.
* Demi Lovato leaves the Top 20 after eleven weeks within it with "Sorry, Not Sorry", down four to No.22 this week.
* With the new Taylor Swift album out on Friday (10-Nov), expect big rises next week from her current and new entries, but this week falling for her are "Gorgeous" (26 to 38), "Look What You Made Me Do" (32 to 42), and barely falling is "...Ready for it?" (44 to 45).
* Dropping seven spots to No.46 is the former No.1 "Despacito" for Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber, whilst The Bieb also drops with his "Friends" track (20 to 23) and is also down on the DJ Khaled track "I'm the One" (87 to 96), with the DJ's other entry "Wild Thoughts" with Rihanna dropping fourteen spots to No.64.
* Older Niall Horan track "Slow Hands" tumbles fourteen places this week to No.55, and Liam Payne's "Strip That Down" descends twenty-one spots to No.63.
* Maggie Lindemann's "Pretty Girl" track is down seven places to No.57.
* After both peaking last week are two local acts both sliding down in "Hotel" for Kita Alexander (56 to 60) and Angus & Julia Stone's "Chateau" (55 to 61).
* Shawn Mendes' "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" is down eleven spots to No.62.
* Chris Brown's "Questions" (HP-55) are down five places to No.68 and now Gold (●) in sales.
* After two weeks at its entry peak of No.62, the 21 Savage track "Bank Account" is down eight to No.70 this week.
* The new Rita Ora song rises, and her older entry in "Your Song" is down seven places to No.74.
* DJ Snake and Lauv drop fifteen places to No.76 with "A Different Way".
* There's a thirteen place slide for the Skrillex and Poo Bear entry "Would You Ever" to No.79.

* Last weeks entry for Clean Bandit and Julia Michaels drops nineteen spots to No.84, and their entry "Symphony" with Zara Larsson is down ten spots to No.92.
* Jason DeRulo falls eighteen places to No.90 with his track "If I'm Lucky".
* There is a new 'Longest Charted Single' this week in 2016's No.1 single "Closer" by The Chainsmokers with Halsey, which is spending its 67th week within the Top 100, down eight places to No.93, as both "Thinking Out Loud" (148 wks) by Ed Sheeran and "Can't Stop the Feeling" (78 wks) for Justin Timberlake fall out of the Top 100 this week.
* The entry last week for Pnau and "Go Bang" is down seventeen places to No.98, but should rebound next week as their new album "Changa" was released on Friday (10-Nov).

NEW ENTRIES:
* #16 - Call it What You Want by Taylor Swift is the fourth entry from the just released sixth studio album "Reputation" (10-Nov) which should chart next week, and this becomes the fourth Top 20 single from the new set also, and overall her twentieth Top 20 entry in Australia.
https://youtu.be/V54CEElTF_U

* #48 - Lemon by N*E*R*D feat Rihanna is the sixth Top 100 entry for the trio which is led by Pharrell Williams, and their first new material in over seven years, last charting with "Hot-n-Fun" (HP-52, peaked early June 2010) featuring then Nelly Furtado, and this new track is taken from their January 2018 due fifth self-titled album "No_One Ever Really Dies (N.E.R.D.)".

* #52 - Dirty Sexy Money by David Guetta & Afrojack feat Charli XCX and French Montana is the third entry and fourth track lifted from an upcoming (and untitled) new album by the French producer, following on from "Light Up My Body" (with Nicki Minaj, HP-29) and the recent "2U" with Justin Bieber (HP-2).
https://youtu.be/kkdLiA9J6LQ

* #69 - Ghostface Killers by 21 Savage, Offset & Metro Boomin' feat Travis Scott is taken from the trio's mixtape album "Without Warning" which crack the album charts Top 40 this week, the track hitting No.57 in the USA so far too.

------------------------------//-----------------------------
Pink and her "Beautiful Trauma" stay at No.1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for a fourth straight week, plus the albums scores a new certification, now 3x▲Platinum in sales.

Pink has now amassed 38 weeks at No.1 in Australia with her five chart-topping albums, and on the list for 'Accumulated Weeks at No.1: Albums (1965 to 2017)' she is now equal eighth alongside Rod Stewart was also had thirty-eight weeks at the top here from seven No.1 sets for him. Pink has now also racked up 27 weeks at the top during this decade (two weeks away from Ed's 29 weeks), and with the album staying for a fourth straight week it becomes the first No.1 album by a female artist to stay at the top this long since "25" by Adele initially had seven weeks at the pinnacle (30-Nov-2015 onwards).

Entering at No.2 is the second album for Sam Smith entitled "The Thrill of it All", matching the entry position that his first album "In the Lonely Hour" achieved (2-June, 2014), with that album climbing to No.1 48 weeks into its chart run, with this new album having already entered at the top in England, New Zealand, Belgium, Ireland and The Netherlands so far, and three tracks lay within the Top 100 singles from the album so far, "Too Good at Goodbyes" (HP-1, TW-3), "Pray" (new peak of #41) and "Burning" (new peak of #75).

The Ed Sheeran super-album "÷ (Divide)" is back down one spot to No.3, and last weeks entry for Chris Brown and "Heartbreak on a Full Moon" is stable at No.5 thanks to its physical release a few days after its initial digital release, whilst also on hold at No.8 is the TV soundtrack for Jessica Mauboy's "The Secret Daughter Season 2", which premiered this past week on Channel 7 (Wednesday night), so expect the album to retain a Top 10 berth for a few more weeks whilst the show screens, whilst the fifth and final album that's not a new entry, and surviving from last week is the Niall Horan debut album "Flicker", down six places to No.10.

The eighth studio album for Guy Sebastian comes in at No.4 titled "Conscious", and it becomes his ninth Top 10 album here (8 studios and 1 best of), with his nine Top 10 albums peaking at either #1, #2, #3, #4 or #6, and this becomes his third album to peak at No.4 after "Closer to the Sun" (Nov 2006) and his best of set "Twenty Ten" (Dec 2010). Sydney five-piece heavy-metalists Polaris see their debut album "The Mortal Coil" enter at No.6 this week, followed at No.7 by the sixth studio and also their sixth Top 10 album in "Red Pill Blues" by Maroon 5, which is matched by their current No.7 spot over on the singles chart with the albums fourth entry "What Lovers Do", and the entry position also matches the debut and peak of their third album "Hands All Over" (late Sept., 2010).

The fifth and final Top 10 debut this week is new at No.9, "A Love So Beautiful" by Roy Orbison who is accompaied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (like Elvis had and Aretha has also issued an album with them too), and by entering at No.9 it becomes the third Top 10 album in Australia for Roy, his first being in one of the first ever albums charts in January 1965, "Greatest Hits Vol.2" (HP-5), whilst his last Top 10 entry was with his final studio album "Mystery Girl" (HP-1x4, peaked early March 1989). The album contains 15 covers of such Roy hits as "In Dreams", "Crying", "Oh, Pretty Woman", "Dream Baby", "Blue Angel", "Only the Lonely" and "You Got it" amongst them.

UP:
* With Khalid in the country this past week it helps his debut album "American Teen" to rise five places and land a new peak of No.13.
* And wth Stevie Nicks touring alongside Chrissie Hynde here at the moment, the Fleetwood Mac "Very Best of" is up one to No.21 (still the longest charted too at 446 weeks), whilst the bands "Greatest Hits" jumps up twenty places to No.58.
* Imagine Dragons are back up seven places to No.29 with "Evolve", as the album has three singles within the Top 100 this week.
* After sliding last week the Ed Sheeran debut set "+" is back up eleven spots to No.34.
* Drake and his "More Life" album jumps up ten places to land at No.37, whilst his "Views" improve twenty chart-rungs to No.59.

* With a new single in "Kiwi" just issed for Harry Styles and his announcement that he will be here for the ARIA Awards in a few weeks time his self-titled album moves back up seven to No.80.
* Two returning albums this week are the "Frozen" soundtrack at No.93 and back in at No.94 is the Meg Mac set "Low Blows".

DOWN:

Starting in 2018 I will no longer be able to do the New Release schedule, my right hand is starting to cramp up from my constant writing (physical and typing), so after ten years of doing these schedules I want to hand over the job (unpaid) to someone else who will get the info from the record companies and have it published here and on the Noise11 website.

Memo me in private to let me know if you are interested in taking this job over from me.

Regards, Bulion.
I'm sorry to hear that buls. I hope the condition is reversible with some rest! I've also got hand issues due to excessive typing (earlier this year, I missed out on a job due to failing a 'grip test' in the medical). My plate is too full but hopefully somebody can take over the duties as it would be sad to see the New Release schedule discontinued.
I'm gonna make a bold prediction and say Sam Smith's The Thrill of It All will be platinum
Sorry to hear it bulion.

Wonder if P!nk had a good sales week, rather surprising Sam couldn't get to #1
I've added this week's ARIA Top 100 Singles chart entries to my site.

Hear them all here - http://top100singles.blogspot.com/2016/12/every-aria-top-100-single-in-2017.html
Surely I'm not the only one shocked about Sam Smith at #2
Also pleasantly surprised that Sam doesn't get to #1
I'm quite impressed that Chris Brown managed another week in the Top 5 this week tbh.
Idk Trav, he was still pretty high on the digital charts and I imagine he would've gotten better streaming than most of the other albums on the chart.
Chris Brown was digitally released on the 30th of October as a surprise album, and then on Friday the 3rd of Nov his album had a physical release, so that is maybe what held his album up so high for the second week, figures will reveal all in a day or two.
Chartifacts updated.
2017 has had the least amount of number-one singles in one year since 1999
Chris Brown sales for the past two weeks

Very close battle between the Top 2 on both singles and albums!
There's a weird cosmic irony in Ed Sheeran having (and STILL having) one of the first songs to really benefit from streaming, and now 3 years later his soundalike is getting digital #1 every week and hasn't hit the top 2 still
Haven't done preds in a while:

Hello!!

Camila Cabello will peak at #1 this week or next week?

Gosh what is taking so long!

Post Malone’s Rockstar, has a serious longevity issue.

Camila deserves to be #1, she has promoted this song so much! live performance at award shows, millions of YouTube views and
She is struggling to reach #1 on Billboard Hot 100,
Hopefully more radio AirPlay and streaming will help her get
to #1 and stay there for a long time.

“Havana” is such a good salsa sultry song! Love it omg!
Hopefully “Crying in the Club” gets a 2018 Grammy Nomination
Very likely she'll hit #1 tomorrow.
Hmm I'm still going with Rockstar for tomorrow but I feel like Havana might top the charts next week
You could be right. Spotify data just came in and Post 'only' lost 20K streams relative to Camila, which isn't enough to make the swap unless Camila's improved by 200 sales, I haven't paid enough attention to tell.
