--------------------------//----------------------------
It's a sixth week at No.1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for "The Greatest Showman" soundtrack, last week scoring Gold, and now this week its newly ▲Platinum in sales.

"The Greatest Showman" and its six weeks on top double the amount of time that cast member Zac Efron's first No.1 musical-soundtrack stayed atop the ARIA Albums chart, as his "High School Musical" set from late July of 2006 spent three weeks at No.1, and by staying at No.1 for a now sixth week "The Greatest Showman" becomes the equal second longest running No.1 for this century, as exactly at this time in 2001 the 'Coyote Ugly" set was up to its fourth (of 6) weeks at the top, while the longest running No.1 soundtrack so far this century was for the musical 'Moulin Rouge' which logged eleven weeks at the top from late May in 2001. The soundtrack also spends its fifth week at No.1 in England and its first week at the top in New Zealand.

The 'Showman' soundtrack might not be at the top next week as two major films sets could replace it in 'Fifty Shades Freed' or the new Marvel 'Black Panther' set by Kendrick Lamar, but this week it was expect that the fifth studio album for Justin Timberlake and "Man of the Woods" would take out the top spot, but alas it comes in at No.2 becoming his fifth Top 10 album in the process and second highest charted, as he previously scored two No.1's with "Future Sex/Lovesounds" (Sept 2006) and then "The 20/20 Experience" (the first one) in March of 2103. The new JT album has two Top 50 entries this week in the albums first release "Filthy" (TW-44) and new entry "Say Something" (36 to 24), plus this past week he performed the half-time show at the Super Bowl.

Ed Sheeran and his "÷ (Divide)" set drop down one spot to No.3 and up one to a new peak of No.5 is Post Malone with his "Stoney" album, while dropping back down three places is Pink and her "Beautiful Trauma" set, whilst she managed with a sore throat to sing the US national anthem at the Super Bowl this past week. On hold are "Revival" by Eminem and "Reputation" for Taylor Swift and No.8 and No.9 respectively, and last weeks Top 10 return for the Gang of Youths second album "Go Farther in Lightness" is back down six places to No.10.

There are two further albums debuting within the Top 10 this week, with local dance-punk act DZ Deathrays and their third album "Bloody Lovely" coming in at No.4, which becomes their second Top 50 entry and now first Top 10, as their 2014 set "Black Rat" debuted and peaked at No.23 in May of that year. And current entrant on 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here' in Shannon Noll sees his fifth studio album "Unbroken" debut at No.7 becoming his sixth Top 10 album (five studios and one GH's), matching the peak of his 2008 best of set "No Turning Back: The Story So Far" (Oct 2008), while his last albums chart entry was the October 2011 fourth album "A Million Suns" (HP-8). This new album contains the former singles "Who I Am" and "Southern Sky" plus his cover of the Creedence Clearwater Revival 1969 song "Fortunate Son".

UP:
* The current US and Canadian No.1 album for Migos and "Culture II" is up fifteen places to a new peak of No.13.
* Macklemore is on tour in Australia at the moment which helps his "Gemini" album to rise back up eleven places to No.16.
* Shania Twain announced an Australia tour this past week for late November and early December, and this week she scores two album re-entries in her most recent set "Now!" at No.32 and her "Greatest Hits" collection returning at No.38.
* Rising collections this week go to Pink (37 to 33), The Wiggles (54 to 45), Red Hot Chili Peppers (63 to 54 in its 300th week within the Top 100), Roy Orbison (returns #83), Cat Stevens (returns at No.89), Queen and their "Platinum Collection" (returns at No.95).
* The new Dua Lipa track pulls her self-titled debut album back up six places to No.39.
* The new Top 50 entry for Vance Joy sees their first album "Dream Your Life Away" rise six to No.41.
* The Carole King musical opens in Melbourne next Friday, and her 1971 set "Tapestry" is up seven spots to No.49 this week.
* The current tour here for the Celtic Woman helps their album "Voices of Angels" to return to the Top 100 at a new peak of No.57.
* Further returning albums are by Evanescence and "Synthesis" (#77, new edition issued and a vinyl edition came out on Friday), "Doo-Wops & Hooligans" for Bruno Mars (#87), the Rick Price and Jack Jones set "California Dreaming" (#97) and "So Good" for Zara Larsson (#99).
* The Fleetwood Mac set "Rumours" is back up thirteen spots to No.80.
