Drake scores a ninth week at the top of the ARIA Singles chart with his track "God's Plan", just in time for his son's resurrection this weekend (i.e. Easter). The track holds the top spot in America, Canada, New Zealand and Ireland also (9th week in each territory).

"God's Plan" and its ninth week at No.1 becomes the equal fifth longest No.1 for this decade along with other 9 week chart leaders as "Sexy and I Know it" by LMFAO (2011), "Roar" for Katy Perry (2013), "Que Sera" by Justice Crew (2014) and "Closer" for The Chainsmokers (2016). Drake has now amassed sixteen weeks at No.1 and he climbs to equal 44th on the list for 'Accumulated Weeks at No.1: Singles; 1940 to 2018' alongside other sixteen weeks racked up by Louis Armstrong, Tony Bennett, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Shaggy and Paper Lace and on the same lists for this decade (2010 to 2018) he is now equal sixth alongside Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (4 #1's).

It's a fifth consecutive week at No.2 for the Post Malone and Ty Dolla $ign track "Psycho", while jumping up five places to land at a new peak of No.3 is Dua Lipa with "IDGAF", helped by her solo shows performed around the country in the past week (plus a Nova Red Room show too). This is followed by two more new peaking track in "Friends" for Marshmello and Anne-Marie up two to No.4 (now his highest charting song here) and leaping into the Top 10 is last weeks highest new entry for Lil' Dicky and Chris Brown and "Freaky Friday", up thirteen places to No.5, becoming the first Top 10 for Lil' Dicky and the thirteenth for Chris Brown.

The new No.1 song in England is "These Days" for Rudimental with Jess Glynne and Macklemore, which here is down two spots to No.6, while on hold at No.7 for a second week are Zedd and Grey with Maren Morris and "The Middle". From the 'Black Panther' soundtrack the Kendrick Lamar and SZA track "All the Stars" drops three spots to No.8, and from the newly released film 'Love, Simon' (drops out from #82) is the duet between Khalid and Normani in "Love Lies", which is up one spot to a new peak of No.10 and it becomes the fourth Top 10 here for Khalid. Debuting on the charts between those two soundtrack songs at No.9 is Shawn Mendes with "In the Blood" (#1 digital seller, #13 streamed), which instantly becomes his fourth Top 10 single and is the lead release from his forthcoming third album (no date or title known as yet), plus he also enters within the Top 30 with another new song too.

* For the first time in a long while, the three albums leaving the Top 10 do so with minimal drops; the Post Malone set "Stoney" (HP-5, WI10-15a) is down two to No.12, the self-titled Dua Lipa (HP-9, WI10-1) set is down four to No.13 and "Nation of Two" for Vance Joy (HP-1, WI10-4) leaves the Top 10 for the first time and is down six to No.14.
* The soundtrack for "Fifty Shades Freed" slides down four to No.16, with other soundtracks moving down being "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" (33 to 47) and "Frozen" (89 to 97), with last weeks entry for "Love, Simon" (#82) leaving.
* All of the country flyers from last week slide down dramatically this week in "What Makes You Country" (11 to 27), "Crash My Party" (39 to 79) and "Kill the Lights" (48 to 88) all for Luke Bryan, "This One's for You" (16 to 50) by Luke Combs, whilst dropping out were "Thin Line" by Billy Ray Cyrus (#20), "Current Mood" by Dustin Lynch (#34) and "Tailgates & Tanlines" for Luke Bryan (#64).
* The Logic mixtape "Bobby Tarantino II" drops twelve to No.29.
* The two older Bruno Mars albums slide back a little this week, with "Doo-Wops & Hooligans" (29 to 33) and "Unorthodox Jukebox" (37 to 44).
* The self-titled Ian Moss set drops thirty-one places to No.54 to land right behind the Cold Chisel "All for You-The Best of" set which is stable at No.55.
* "Flicker" for Niall Horan is back down nineteen places to No.82.
* The Wombats tumble down twenty-four spots to No.93 with "Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life".
* Further dropouts from last week Top 50 were the self-titled Stone Temple Pilots album (#38) and "Not All the Beautiful Things" for What So Not (#50).

FURTHER NEW ENTRIES:
* #3 (LP#5) - I Hear a Song by Dami Im

* #7 (LP#2) - Staying at Tamara's by George Ezra

* #9 (LP#4) - Country Heart by The Wolfe Brothers

* #11 (LP#3) - Boarding House Reach by Jack White is his third studio album and fourth chart entry here, while it becomes his first studio album not to make it into the Top 10, as he previously charted with "Blunderbuss" (HP-2, May 2012) and "Lazaretto" (HP-3, June 2014), and in between then and now he also placed the compilation album "Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016" (HP-13, Sept 2016) into the charts also.

* #58 (EP#7) - California (EP) by Diplo is the first solo chart entry for the US DJ and contains six tracks featuring such acts as Lil' Yachty, Santigold, Desiigner, DRAM, MO and Lil' Xan, while his only other albums chart entry here was with Skrillex on their Jack U project (HP-12, March 2015).
