****
A nice, but slighty boring track from Ed Sheeran. It ends well though.

From the upcoming 'The Hobbit' movie 'The Desolation Of The Smaug'.
*****
Awesome track, great to see him back!
****
What TravD said.
***
It's okay but a little dull.
*****
It's lovely and already growing on me very quickly.
**
Not much happening here. I suppose it fits the movie but The Hobbit movies are boring anyway, so it makes sense that the song from the movie is boring.

@Hijinx - I totally agree and I think that's what bugs me the most, the radio version is fine in terms of volume, but it's dumb when you pay for a song and have to adjust the volume just to be able to hear it. How stupid!

This is pretty nice but I can't see myself loving it.
**
Oh no, not him again.
****
Nice song but a little too long for my liking.
***
Once again innocuous and utterly unspectacular

Better than actually watching any of the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit movies though, for sure (I know, how appallingly unpatriotic of me)

It's nothing to write home about. It goes nowhere.

Edit: Now I love it. Seems to fit the theme of The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug theme very well, but there are still songs from + I would like to hear more. But it is not poor. 3 --> 5.

Ok
***
Kind of want to give it a harsh review just because it's TOO QUIET. It's just a spot of bother to adjust my volume on the fly thanks to this. This could perhaps be ok if there was some sort of crescendo but there isn't, so it doesn't excite me, it's just ok.
*****
I'm not a huge fan of Ed Sheeran, while I see the talent, I think he's largely overrated. This is a fantastic song though. I love how understated it is and I love the celtic feel to it. Great movie score and very unexpected.

it is impressively boring -but not bad
***
It is disappointing that out of all the end credit songs for the Middle Earth series, this is the one that had the greatest worldwide success AND the only one so far to chart on the Australian charts. It's not terrible, it's just drearingly nothing. It would have been much better if it actually built as the song progressed AND if the melody was somehow squeezed into the movie's score like most of the other ones. Ed sounds a tad bored singing it, and I admit that I usually tune out after about a minute. A major misstep in Middle Earth in my opinion. I honestly can never remember how this goes until I hear it.
***
Op zich is dit voor velen een rustige plaat die net zo heerlijk is om te beluisteren als 'The A Team' en zijn opvolgers, maar ik vind het maar snel vervelen. De coupletten zijn vooral saai. Amper 3 sterren.
**
a boring song
***
Tolerable.
****
Great song but it drags on too much that it gets old... quickly.
******
I can't imagine him ever doing anything else even close to as wonderful as this song is.
*****
Beautiful! This is definitely not boring as some would say.
