**** I think what is most telling here is how much Luke Bryan has changed. Yes we still have this 'I'm a country farming boy' stuff on his latest albums but the sound here is quite natural and basic, which is very different to his more modern stuff. The songwriting is average at best, and there's nothing that really pops out, although Do I and Rain Is A Good Thing were both quite good singles. It's a nice album but I do prefer to listen to his more recent albums, and even then, probably only a few songs at a time. 3.6/6. |
