Nachdem coolen "Tik Tok"-Song u. dem enttäuschenden Folgesong "Blah blah blah" ist Ke$has Performance in "Dirty Picture" wieder deutlich beeindruckender.
Der Song startet sanft, Taio Cruz singt angenehm vor sich hin, doch schnell kommt der Electrosound dazu u. ein knalliger Beat u. dann heißt es nur noch...bounce the body to the left, to the right and down and up...and turn around..
Ke$ha singt ziemlich dirty übrigends..als wär sie dauergeil...tja, wer weiß..:-0)? |

klar eine Nummer für den Club zum Abtanzen, zu Hause eher nicht geeignet...und die miserable Stimme von Ke$ha wurde hier klar nachbearbeitet - von der will ich garantiert kein Foto haben, da gibt es klar schärfere Bräute im Musikbusiness - 3.5 (knapp aufgerundet auf 4*)...

Enttäuschende 2. Auskopplung aus dem Rokstarr-Album. Instrumentalisierung ist total 08/15 und auch der Gesang schafft es auch nicht, zu überzeugen, besonders Ke$ha, die hier ordentlich (stimmlich) bearbeitet wurde, damit sie die Töne trifft, klingt immer noch abschreckend. -
Allerdings ist's für sie immer noch ein Karriere-Highlight. 3.66*

I think this is one of those songs that people either love or hate.
The beat is really hot and it's great when the massive electro wave unleashes. I think it really works well with the dirty, gritty-styled lyrics of the song. However, I found that it was actually Ke$ha who made the song what it is for me. Taio's vocals are so-so, but Ke$ha just works much better with the song. It's like Taio wrote it to suit her or something? She could pull it off just as well, if not better if she recorded the entire track on her own. |
