Quite like this track. Perhaps contrary to a review I just wrote, it actually is really soothing the way she elongates the 'wiiiiiildest dreams', which backed with the music is just really pleasant to the ears. And nawww in general at the song. 3.9

It's nice and the vocal is impressive. 4.5.

Quite nice.

Better then Bad Blood, on par with the other 3 Singles from 1989.
****
Another good track from '1989'.

I get a lot out of this. The production is so dreamy and I agree that soothing is a very apt word to describe it. 3.75

This is just so relaxing and enjoyable. The best song I've ever heard so far from her 1989 album. :)
****
Enjoyable enough song and another catchy pop song from "1989". Would have much rather seen "Out of the Woods" as a single though.

This and 'Out Of The Woods' were my favourite songs of 1989 so i'm so glad it got picked as a single and a music video was made.
***
I really should dislike this song considering the lyrical content, and how it retreads ground she has already covered (the whole comparing love to be a fantasy/nightmare gimmick), but it is just too pleasant and melodically appealing (in parts), so I don't dislike it as much as I usually would with these types of songs.

In saying that, though, it still isn't that great, but I think it was with this song that I have turned over a new leaf with Swift.

Up to "Shake It Off", I was pretty staunch in my disliking of her (and I still stand by that, because everything up to, and including, that song are still repulsively awful, nothing is ever going to change that), but she has now strung together 4/5 half-decent songs since, and now I think she's sort-of alright. She still isn't in the "okay" category yet, but there are multiple artists I can think of that I dislike considerably more than her, which is odd for an artist that has made 3 of my 5 worst songs of all time ("Shake It Off", "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "Love Story", but not particularly in that order, as I can't identify which one is the worst yet, but all I know is that they are still atrociously awful). These last sentence may sound like I still dislike her, which I do to some extent, but I swear that she has risen up the ranks in my books (although, I still don't know how something as bad as "Shake It Off" is on the same album which has some good stuff lyrically and musically, such as this).

Anyway, this review has gone off in some different direction regarding her career, but to sum it up, this song is alright.
**
A pretentious tune that is confirmed with the video. Quite annoying that this outpeaked 'Style' although I see its success was at a more realistic level on some other overseas charts. Overplay is making this uncomfortable. 2.3*

Nice enough pop song, but not very memorable.

Beautiful, pleasant sound that fits her well. 5-6*
