bluezombie Member	****** Fantastic album! One of the best of 2012 to date. Very strong lyrically and vocally excellent, this features some awesome rocking tracks and some nice slower ones too. I think this is a stronger effort than American Slang.
axelkoch Member	***** Ich hab den Stil von The Gaslight Anthem echt gern und bin froh, sie durch den hohen Charteinstieg dieser CD kennengelernt zu haben. ""45"" ist ein hammer Song, den ich mir fünfmal am Tag anhören kann, ohne dass er mich nervt. Zwar ist die Platte nicht perfekt, da die Songs 5-8 zu eintönig sind und die Durchschnittsnote stark herabsenken, doch ich drücke mal ein Auge zu und runde in meiner Bewertung auf 5* auf. Ich freue mich auf die nächsten Platten der Band und kann 'Handwritten' nur weiterempfehlen! Best Songs: "45" National Anthem Blue Dahlia (Deluxe Version) Mae Handwritten Fazit: eine richtig coole Punk Rock-Platte, wie ich sie mir vorstelle. Abwechlsungsreich; zum mitsingen; mit einprägsam coolen Gitarr-Riffs und nicht zu vergessen: starken Lyrics! P.S.: ich kann nur empfehlen, die Deluxe Version zu kaufen! 1., da 11 Songs für eine CD doch relativ wenig sind, und 2., weil man sonst einen der besten Songs der Band (Blue Dahlia), eine gelungenes Nirvana-Cover und einen würdigen Abschluss verpassen würde!
