I haven't listened to this version but I do know the originals and would rate them highly. Anyone who is trashing this song clearly knows nothing about Australian history or the monumental fight of Vincent Lingiari to achieve equal employment rights for Indigenous Australians and the right for Aboriginal Australians to own/use their traditional country.

It took a decade for this song to chart and its rise to popularity has coincided with the development of general awareness surrounding Indigenous issues in Australia. Go do some reading.

Those of us who know these things are moved to tears by the song and consider it an anthem of our times.
