*****
The Strokes are certainly still on form. I might go so far as to say that this is my favourite album of theirs, with highlights in "Under Cover of Darkness", "Machu Picchu", "Gratisfaction" & "Metabolism". Proudly my 200th album review!
*****
Done well, Machu Picchu is my favourite but that's closely followed by Under Cover then Taken then probably the last three.
****
A solid album, while there are no dud tracks, some of them don't overly stand out from the rest, so while it's pleasant and enjoyable to listen to, there's not too much spectacular about it, at least for me. They've still got the same cool sound they've always had, and there are some quite strong tracks. My favourites are Under Cover Of Darkness, Machu Piccu and Taken For A Fool.
