*****
I continue to adore Ellie's songwriting, which compliments the nostalgic vision of their music. In this song she manages to capture both an adult & teenage perspective of being lovestruck, and there's some great snark slotted in it. Always a highlight with how the chorus transforms as the song progresses, that chorus is also the musical highlight of the song. Returning to the glimmering Cranberries-like treat of "Bros", but somewhat enhanced, while Ellie's vocals cut right over the top of it with ferocity.
