In the UK a year after Spice Girls worldwide domination along came All Saints who in the same way as East 17 were marketed as an alternative to Take That. The outcome was the same, although they were seen as more credible and 'cooler' to like they didn't have the same success. They still scored many #1's though and had memorable hits. This is a great attitude filled debut with a different sound to it.

1st UK top 10. 9 weeks in the UK top 100.

UK#4 and Ireland#19.

US#36.

200,000 copies sold in the UK.

Good song, but it's one of their weaker releases.

Sensational début single; it's effortlessly catchy, fun and über sexy which they hadn't achieved again until Rock Steady.
***
Average song but it's not too bad.

One of the standouts by the group, even considering the material William Orbit produced for their follow-up album. Should be seen in the same light by many as Never Ever, but isn't. Sticks in your head and has lots of attitude.
*****
Awesome track and a very edgy song for a girl group.
