Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" stays atop the Australian Charts for a fourth week, half as long as Canada (8 weeks), and not quite as long as the U.S. (6 weeks), but she has now climbed in to equal second place for the chart-toppers of the year who have also all stayed there for four weeks. Here is a list of the years No.1 singles so far...

5 weeks - Bleeding Love - Leona Lewis
5 weeks - Sweet About Me - Gabriella Cilmi
4 weeks - Don't Stop the Music - Rihanna
4 weeks - No Air - Jordin Sparks feat Chris Brown
4 weeks * I Kissed a Girl - Katy Perry
3 weeks - Low - Flo Rida
3 weeks - 4 Minutes - Madonna feat Justin Timberlake
2 weeks - Apologize - Timbaland feat OneRepublic
1 week - Bubbly - Colbie Caillat

So one more week and she ties for equal longest running No.1 single of the year, two more weeks and she'll have the longest runner. But several things could upset that feat, one being Metro Station who's single get released August 11th (next week), affecting the 18th of August chart (her sixth possible week), or Kid Rock's "All Summer Long" which is released on CD Single this week. More on Kid soon.

The Pussycat Dolls have claimed their second best chart effort this week, as "When I Grow Up" stays at No.2 for a third week, beating the 2 weeks stay of their previous two singles, "StickwitU" and "Buttons". Climbing to No.3 (No.2 download) is Metro Station's "Shake it", which will probably go higher. Miley Cyrus stays put at No.6, and Chris Brown has all of the 7's this week. He stays put at No.7, has spent 7 weeks in the charts, and the single for "Forever" still has it's peak of No.7.

Two of the new entries to the Top 10 this week are also two of the four big rising singles of the week. The equal second biggest riser is Kid Rock's "All Summer Long" which jumps 13 places to No.8, now giving him his highest placed single in Australia. The CD Single is out in stores this week, and that will help it rise again next week. Lady GaGa also scores her first Top 10 single as "Just Dance" climbs up 7 places to No.10.

The two other big climbers of the week are the 13 place jump for Rihanna's "Disturbia" (35 to 22), and the biggest climber of the week, thanks to it's CD Single release, Linkin Park's "Leave Out All the Rest" which climbs 15 places from No.39 to No.24 this week. It also helps pull their "Minutes to Midnight" up to No.28 this week, the biggest climber on the album charts this week.

With so many new entries last week, this week see's only two entries, one of those new, the other a re-entry. The re-entry is Miley Cyrus' "Start All Over" which comes back in at No.41, it's now highest peak. The new entry is at No.49, and is "When You Look Me in the Eyes" by The Jonas Brothers. The boys have had one other Top 50 hit, in the form of the No.47 single from late April, "SOS".

For the third week, the cast recording/Soundtrack for the film "Mamma Mia!" is at No.1 on the Australian Album Charts. It's now tied in fourth place for the longest running No.1 Soundtrack this decade, tied with "High School Musical", but the three above it are "Bridget Jones' Diary" (5 weeks), "Coyote Ugly" (6 weeks) and "Moulin Rouge" (11 weeks). It might stay for another week, although albums from Katy Perry and The Whitlams might make a different next week.

Soulfly have the highest new entry to the charts this week with their sixth album "Conquer". By debuted at No.19 it becomes the bands highest charting album in Australia, below is the list of their previous chart efforts...

03-May-98*HP-33*WI-02 - Soulfly
08-Oct-00*HP-26*WI-04 - Primitive
07-July-02*HP-24*WI-02 - 3
18-Apr-04*HP-49*WI-01 - Prophecy
16-Oct-05*HP-41*WI-01 - Dark Ages

Jason Mraz, MGMT and Flo Rida all hit new peaks this week, and due to it being released on DVD two weeks ago, "Step Up 2: The Streets" re-enters the charts at No.23.

Daron Malakian from System of a Down put together his side-project Scars on Broadway in late 2005, and this week their debut self-titled album makes it debut in the Top 50 at No.43.

Regards,
Gavin Ryan.

Now that ARIA website has been updated, here are the Physical Singles that have made significant gains...

No.1 - I Kissed a Girl - Katy Perry
9 up from 17 - Start all Over - Miley Cyrus (No.41 on charts)
New at No.18 - Shake it - Metro Station (maybe released early)
New at No.25 - Leave Out All the Rest - Linkin Park

big droppers:
32 from 18 - Bye Bye - Mariah Carey
44 from 25 - Stay With me Bright Eyes - Something With Numbers
Shake It at #3 WOO-HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's hope it can climb a little more. I think it's a great song.
its quite upsetting see singles such as miley making top 10 in physicals and not even impacting the top 40, the shows how little physical sales is affecting the charts
Pretty dissapointing charts this week. To much movement in lower half & not enough in the top 20.
I agree with the 'Low' sentiments... People stop buying this song, it's had it's time & will more than likely break into the Top 10 of all time on this site because of it!
Last edited:
BeansterBarnes, I too agree with 'Low' now being in the top 25 for more than 25 weeks now.
I'd even hate the song more if it overtakes the Prodigy's 'Breathe' as the #1 song of all time (and I really hope that this will not happen).

Bulion, if Moulin Rouge was the longest #1 soundtrack of this decade, then what were the longest #1 soundtracks on the previous decades? I'd sure would like to know!
Thanks in advance, Bulion!

Longest running Soundtracks by decade:

1960's - 76 wks - Sound of Music
1970's - 13 wks - Saturday Night Fever
1980's - 09 wks - Can't Stop the Music
1990's - 11 wks - Titanic
Sony BMG made the Metro Station "Shake It" single (physical) available to retailers about a week ago although its official release is still next Sat 9 Aug. So I would expect it to chart on the physical chart next week, quite highly.
Attention!!

Coldplay fans, news just in that there will
not just one, but two, yes two music video released!!
for "Viva La Vida"!!!..... Wow!! how exciting.

Both video are online now!!!, for your viewing pleasure.

According to justjared.com, one video was directed
by Hype Williams and the other is a cover version which
the band made.

Check it out.

Have fun
Hopefully next week there will be more movement and excitement in the singles top 50/radio charts.

to start of with i would like to see at least 4 or 5 songs in the no.s 50-40 drop out of the charts ( but not 3 doors down or kelly rowland!)

at no.39 ( my favourite chart debut number) i would like to see Iggy and Jet with "The wild one".
ok song but hopfully this one will fly up the chart!

I'm looking forward to see how the last weeks few entries are doing.
The Vines will hopefully debut with "He's A Rocker"
I do not know why other songs of theirs has debuted in the chart when they have not been any good. I am still waited for that song to hit the top 40!

I Want to see how MGMT go with their track "Electric Feel"
I cannot believe "Time to pretend" did not chart. It had huge radio success!

Anywho, the songs that i want to drop are the ones that have just been around for too long.
I want to see more Alternative types of genres in the top 50 charts.

I think that The Living End, Potbelleez and Sneaky Sound System will drop.

lastly for the almighty no.1 spot,
i believe Katy Perry still has a chance, but when Metro Station's physical sales kick in, i think she will have a bit of competition!

I cannot wait for the next chart. Anyway this week i will look forward to chatting with you guys on the forum, and Chri8tophers fun charts!

see ya!
For those that have been waiting.... the wait is over. EMI sent this to me today. Enjoy.

Coldplay - Viva la Vida clip (unofficial)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gupYQFTvtYA
I Am sorry if i keep repeating this but I just keeping adding to my "New Entries Wish List"

- The Vines "He's A Rocker"
- Jet and Iggy Pop "The Wild One"
- The Grates "Burn Bridges"
- Chasing Bailey "Little By Little"
- Something With Numbers "Stay With Me Bright Eyes"
- Michael Paynter "Closer"

Then later as we get into the top 10 of Australian Idol, I think that The TV promo song "Can You Feel It" might debut once they get later into the series. A couple of series they have released a group single.
did Michael Paynter "Closer" chart anywhere under top 50?
i saw the physical release a weeks back and its was heavily promoted on tv and radio and should have the momentum of charting
finally viva la vida video released, but i dont think itll impact too much on its chart position next week
Michael Paynter - Closer

Chart run

I'm really excited that Coldplay released 2 music videos!

I really like the 2nd version, where Chris Martin is dressed lie a king and walks on the beach carrying the painting.
It looks relaxing, great video!!!

Apart from Coldplay,

Leona Lewis is finally releasing a 3rd single, it is
called "Forgive Me"!!!!, and i first heard it played
on the Hot30 Countdown, with Tim and Bigsy.

I also heard "Radar" on the countdown, which is
the 4th and possibly final single release from Britney Spears latest album "Blackout".
On the Coldplay releasing of video for 'Viva La Vida'.
The record company & the band themselves haven't done themselves any favours by taking so long to release a video for the track.
In saying that though, the video shouldn't have that much effect on it's forseable future because unfortunately for 'Viva La Vida' it's all downhill from here.
Jordin Sparks 3rd single "One Step at a Time" has recieved radio airplay and
i can't wait until Vanessa Amorosi releases her 3rd single,
does anyone know what it is?

Other upcoming new releases which are rumoured to be released in Australia and Worldwide:

Mariah Carey feat. T.I. - I'll Be Lovin' Ya Long Time
Alicia Keys - Superwoman
Estelle - No Substitute Love
Akon & Kardinal Officer - Dangerous
Flo Rida - In the Ayer
Just wanted to comment on the differences between single releases now and "back then". I've been reading a lot on the forum with interest, particularly releases.

When I was a kid, and I have to use my fave artist as an example, a new Madonna single was an event (it still is today!) and we all knew the exact date it was coming out. Molly would have the video on "Hey Hey It's Saturday", sometimes it was on the news (for controversy, no less, but she was still on Today Tonight recently for "4 Minutes" simply cause she was Madonna...but I digress), and then Monday, it was in the stores. Next week it was on Rage. End of story.

These days, we have the radio release, the digital release, the physical release and the video release (as in the case for Coldplay). It's all very complicated, but exciting at the same time, and generates a lot of excitement and anticipation for music.

Just wanted to say I was starting to get bored with "new" music, say 2002-2006...but now it has (again) become a Sunday thing for me.
As a Coldplay fan, i can only hope and pray that
the band will benefit from releasing two videos so damn late!

But,we will wait and see if that could impact their chart performance, as the single is jumping in an out of the Top 10 in Australia.

Let's focus on the positives

The good news is that "Viva La Vida""is currently at No.1 on the United World Chart and is

Top 10 in Canada, Ireland,Switzerland, The Netherlands,
and Portugal and Italy!!
Wow!! that is sooo good.

Still Top 20 in Australia, U.S, U.K, and Norway!!!

Congrats Coldplay!

I also noticed that Gabriella Cilmi is also charting well in many European countries. I'm pleased with her success globally.

Hello Christopher!

Yes i agree with you, that the cd singles are released and the format itself has changed over the years, probably because of the internet boom, and technology is advanced.

But as you said i also like it how a single is first released on radio, then digitally, physically and a video afterwards,
then it charts.

It's turned into this cycle for every new release.

Change is good.
Question to anyone who knows or cares...
Why do the Club Charts always come out later than all the other charts?

There were three new entries inside the top 100 but outside the top 50 this week, they are...

#83 - Andrea Bocelli - Time To Say Goodbye --> Odd Debut. This will be thanks to an appearence on 60 Minutes [Channel 9]. Tv has been a powerhouse for music in 2008. Does deserve to chart higher, due to it's genre i am predicting it to exit the top 100 next week.

#95 - Slipknot - Psychosocial --> Yet another strange genre to add to this topsy turvy chart this week. Many people would cringe at their material and radio won't touch them with a 50 foot pole! I think it will also exit next week with Andrea.

#98 - Cast Of Mamma Mia The Movie - Mamma Mia --> Continues Abba domination! The orignal sored to #48 two weeks ago and has left this terrible remake to limp just inside the countdown. Soundtrack is firmly at #1 so this shall be gone next week.
Nate, I really hope your prediction is right.
Why do you think The Potbelleez will jump up so much for?
I do hope all the songs u predict to leave do.
I Quess that the Potbelleez will jump up to about No.15 because of the performance on Rove.
Most songs rise after being performed on Rove. Lots of people see the song and recongnise it and might like it which boosts the sales.
Not all songs rise after the Rove Performance ( Living End )

hopefully this one does
My Predictions

#1 Metro Station - Shake It

#3 PCD - When I Grow Up
#4 Sam Sparro - Black & Gold

Next 10 Digital Downloads:

41 (45) - With You - Chris Brown
42 (Ne) - Take Me to the Floor - The Veronicas
43 (Ne) - Twisted - Brian McFadden
44 (41) - Moving Mountains - Usher
45 (Ne) - Don't Wanna Go to Bed Now - Gabriella Cilmi

47 (31) - I Kissed a Girl - Katy Perry
48 (Ne) - He's a Rocker - The Vines
49 (Ne) - Dangerous - Roxette
50 (48) - Forever - Ben Harper

Interesting to see Roxette's 1989 single back in there.
O Yeah... Metro Station back at #1 on the I-Tunes chart. This should easily make the top 2 this week if the physical single has started being released.
Hi All

In relation to the ARIA Digital Download chart I think there have been errors when there are 2 verisons of the same song charting in some cases. Every unusual digital download entry has got a title with a current charting song. I'll give you some examples I have seen over the last month.

All of the following tracks have charted in the Digital Track Chart:

Ben Harper - Forever -> Chris Brown - Forever
Muse - Take a Bow -> Rihanna - Take a Bow
Count Basic - See You Again -> Miley Cyrus - See You Again
Future Troubles - Shake It -> Metro Station - Shake It
Roxette - Dangerous -> Kardinal Offishall - Dangerous

Are these coincedences or are ARIA getting some of the digital track listings wrong?
I think it maybe the actual buying public downloading these simalar titled tracks out of pure curosity. Take Katy Perry's track, when i first heard the name i immeadiatly assumed it would've been a cover of Jill Sobul's from '95.
I would think A.R.I.A could not make such notable errors of this magnitude. but weirder things have happened.
1. I Kissed A Girl - KP
2. Shake It - MS
3. When I Grow Up - PCD
4. Black & Gold - SS
5. See You Again - MC
6. All Summer Long - KR
7. No Air - JS/CB
8. Forever - CB
9. Just Dance - LG
10. Closer - N-Y

11. Take A Bow - R
12. I'm Yours - JM
13. Viva La Vida - CP
14. White Noise - TLE
15. Are You With Me - TP
16. Disturbia - R
17. Lovesong - SB
18. Kansas City -SSS
19. Elevator - FR/TL
20. American Boy - E/KW
Here goes.

1. I Kissed A Girl
2. Shake It
3. When I Grow Up
4. All Summer Long
5. Black & Gold
6. No Air
7. See You Again
8. Just Dance
9. Forever
10. Closer

11. I'm Yours
12. Take A Bow
13. Viva La Vida
14. Are You With Me
15. Kansas City
16. White Noise
17. Love Song
18. Disturbia
19. American Boy
20. Elevator
I don't think Metro Station will have enough power to be the #1 single this week. Although I do hope I am wrong, 4 weeks is more than enough for Katy Perry's single at the top.
Also The Potbelleez might get some exposure with the coming Olympics. So another reason their song might boost some sales.
I hope that Katy Perry is No.1 again.

But Metro Station is No.1 on Itunes, anything can happen.

Shake It physical single will be released on 11th of August in Perth, despite early sales in other states.
Regarding the issue about the Aria chart errors.

I have also noticed spelling mistakes, and sometimes
for the "weeks in" column the number will be incorrect.

Must be glitches,

Hopefully it will be fixed.
Itunes Top 120 Digital Singles update.

The Potbelleez - Are you with me, has peaked at it's highest position on the Top 120, currently at No.12 and rising.

Must be selling well, after the performance on Rove, the single should return to the Top 20 next week.

Rihanna's "Disturbia" is still at No.11!!!!, after so many days how annoying.

Gosh, when will it enter the Top 10!

Jason Mraz is at No.9 and
Lady Gaga is currently at it's highest peak at No.4!! Yay!, and the single should stay in the Top 10 next week please.

For some crazy reason, the Kid Rock version of all summer long at #5 on itunes has been deleted!! And another version enters the chart at #115! Who made that silly decision? I have no doubt itll be back inside the top 10 in no time but seems crazy considering it was itunes top 5 and was a big contender for the top 5 this weekend!

As for other news, great for September! i thought it could flop but looks like it could go top 20 or even top 10 at this rate.

Poor PCD stuck at #2, i think that'll be its peak now, Metro Station for the next #1? Even though its #1 on itunes now, i think its gonna need go top 2 on physical to stand a chance really. I reckon Katy still has a good 1/2 weeks left in her.

Great for Lady Gaga too
^The Kid Rock version (currently at #6) hasn't been deleted, it's still showing on my itunes.
Brandon - Disturbia has finally entered the itunes top 10, at #10, yay!! Great to see Lady Gaga go Top 5 as well, i love it.

12 I'M YOURS Jason Mraz
13 WHITE NOISE The Living End
14 VIVA LA VIDA Coldplay
15 ARE YOU WITH ME The Potbelleez
16 KANSAS CITY Sneaky Sound System
17 DISTURBIA Rihanna
18 LOVE SONG Sara Bareilles
19 ELEVATOR Flo Rida Feat. Timbaland
20 AMERICAN BOY Estelle Feat. Kanye West
Thankyou Knowlesey!!

It's about time.

American Billboard Hot 100 Chart Update:

Katy Perry is No.1 again in America!!!! Oh my gosh.

Congratulations - Now 7 WEEKS!! at No.1 in United States,
Week beginning Friday 8th August.

The song of the summer in America.

Flo Rida's Low spent a massive 10 weeks at No.1!!!
Katy Perry could equal or break that record,
but she has competition, because
Rihanna has peaked at No.3 with Disturbia in U.S.

Coldplay is at No.5 and
Pussycat Dolls have returned the Top 10 peaking
at the same peak No.9!!

That is like, like totally awesome!

EMI won't be letting "Hot N Cold" by Katy Perry chart yet... they have asked ARIA not to include it because it's too soon :-(
More American Billboard Hot 100 updates:

Leona Lewis has entered the Top 50, peaking at
No.50!! with "Better in Time" becoming her second hit in America.

Kid Rock has peaked at No.34!! with "All Summer Long".

Estelle's "American Boy", is at her highest position
so far reaching No.12!!, becoming her breakthrough hit in U.S

Akon & Kardinal Officer - "Dangerous" peaked at No.7

and Chris Brown's "Forever" has climbed to No.2!!,
followed by Rihanna's
"Disturbia" and "Take a Bow" at No.3!! and No.4!!
In regards to Kid Rock deletion. It seems like it happened in several countries, Kid Rock disappeared and was unable to be sold. Looks like the problem has be solved now.

By the way, what day is So you think you can dance on? Apparently PCD are appearing on the US version so its likely gonna climb on itunes
I can't believe that Kid Rock got deleted off several charts.

How could this happen? Maybe it's a glitch??

Doesn't matter, because in Australia, physical sales will
help him stay in the Top 10.

Kid Rock's song has been digitally available for 2 or 3 weeks
,before the physical release.

It will be interesting to see if he loses sales, because
of the precious hours or days worth of sales he lost....

Olympic Games will start tonight in Beijing.

It's very exciting!

I wonder which music artists will be performing or attending the event....

Does anyone know???
Australian Top 100 Radio Airplay Chart update:

According to http://www.aumreport.com/amr100.html

Rihanna's "Disturbia" is the No.1 Most Added Song on Aussie Radio.

Apart from Rihanna,

Vanessa Amorosi has a new single titled "The Simple Things",
and it's a power pick.

The Veronicas's 4th single "Take me on the floor", debuted
at a high No.28!!

Kid Rock's hit "All Summer Long" has risen to No.15!!

Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" remains in the runner-up spot
at No.2 again!!, hasn't peaked at No.1 yet.

Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" is at No.1!! for a 2nd week.
Making the track the most played hit on commercial radio!!!

well Brandon, I Have no idea.
But people are all saying that The Potbelleez " Are You with me" sales will rise because of the Olympics. Maybe they will be preforming and also Amy Pearson with "Ready to fly" which was supposed to be The Olympic song.
But all up I am not to sure
Definently "Ready to fly" will RE-ENTER bof the olympics
Thankyou for all of your replies.

Yes, i will watch the ceremony tonight and see

The American version of"So You Think You Can Dance" show will feature a performance by the Pussycat Dolls.

Simon, in Perth the show was on Wednesday, Thursday and tonight,
and i didn't watch it on Wed and Thurs, so i missed out.

Maybe the Pussycat Dolls are performing tonight on SYTYCD,
and that should help boost the sales of the single in
"When I Grow Up", keeping it in the Aust.Top 5
for a long time...
Olympics Opening Ceremony were great, with lots of great musical performances, including Sarah Brightman.

Spectacular and Breathtaking opening show!!,
Well Done, Beijing!!!

Enough about sport related news,
it's time for some news in the Wide World of Music:

Grammy and Aria Award Winning Band, Wolfmother
have split, i can't believe it!! Why????????

Such a shame, oh well now they can focus on solo careers.
More news from the Wide World of Music,

Coldplay have been nominated in a new category at
the American MTV VMA's it's "Best UK Video",
Violet Hill is up against videos from Estelle, Leona Lewis,
Duffy,and Ting Tangs. Good Luck!!

Gym Class Heroes will release their new album in September
Kaiser Chiefs have a new album coming in October!
The Killers will release a new album out in November!!

Two time VMA Nominee Britney Spears will apparently appear in a TV Promo, for the MTV VMA's, and might attend the show physically and is nominated for 2 awards.
Let the 2nd comeback attempt begin.. please!

The time has come for me to predict the Top 20 singles
for next week, Week beginning on Monday 11th Aug, 2008.

My aim is to break my shared record of 8 and get 9 or better.

I think that Lady Gaga and Kid Rock will remain
in the Top 10, where they belong.

The Potbelleez will re-enter the Top 20 thankfully.
Rihanna's "Take a Bow" could leave the Top 10

Katy Perry will be No.1 again i hope!!,
because Metro Station hasn't been fully released physically yet. I'm nervous!!

Here is my Top 20:

1.Katy Perry - I Kissed a Girl

No predictions as yet this week from Anton, Josh, Marty and Henry. If you wanna put your Top 20's in before 2:30pm, that would be great.
When logging on today, please let me know what you think will be the biggest climbing song this week out of...

Jason Mraz
Potbelleez
Kid Rock

Overall predictions up soon...
And the winner on predictions is...

Colin and Nate with 7 each
Qwerty had 6 right
Rhys and l! had 5 apiece.
Hi All,
Ready for another chart. I would probably say that The Potbelleez should be the biggest climber due to performing on Rove last weekend. Jason Mraz has no physical release (which is becoming less significant each week) and Kid Rock was already at #8 last week, but has now been released physically. Look forward to see other peoples comments.
Also there are two new entries, one down low, one in the Top 20.
All but one of the Top 10 moves around.
Potbellez for me
Hey Grogs. You got four predictions right this week, one of those you were the only to get one particular number right.
BB, you got two predictions right this week, both of them Top 10 placings.
Chris Brown at No.40: With You

New single is entitled "Take You Down", and is No.7 in NZ this week
Wow! I feel special! I've never been any good at this predicion stuff!
No.39: Not My Time - 3 Doors Down (up 1 place).

CD Single is issued at the end of August.
NEW ENTRY up next...
I actually like this song, it's #9 on my personal chart
No.38 (New) - 7 Things - Miley Cyrus

Third album "Breakout" is due August 30th.
How irratating is the film clip for this song?
I'm not really ammused about how she or her management are trying to sell her! All I see is a slut!
Overall Predictions list for this week:

1 (49.7) - I Kissed a Girl - Katy Perry
2 (49.2) - Shake it - Metro Station
3 (47.6) - When I Grow Up - Pussycat Dolls
4 (46.7) - Black & Gold - Sam Sparro
5 (46.3) - All Summer Long - Kid Rock
6 (43.8) - No Air - Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown
7 (43.4) - See You Again - Miley Cyrus
8 (43.3) - Just Dance - Lady Gaga
9 (43.0) - Forever - Chris Brown
10 (39.3) - I'm Yours - Jason Mraz
11 (39.2) - Closer Ne-Yo
12 (38.9) - Viva la Vida - Coldplay
13 (38.8) - Take a Bow - Rihanna
14 (37.9) - White Noise - Living End
15 (35.7) - Are You With me - The Potbelleez
16 (34.6) - Disturbia - Rihanna
17 (34.1) - Kansas City - Sneaky Sound System
18 (34.0) - Love Song - Sara Barielles
19 (32.7) - Cry for You - September
20 (31.5) - Sweet About Me - Gabriella Cilmi
21 (31.4) - Elevator - Flo Rida
22 (31.3) - American Boy - Estelle feat Kanye West

11 of these are in there correct positions for this week...
She wants to pull out of her Disney contract and not do Miley Cyrus anymore. So she's trying to grow out of that persona I guess.
37 down 2 from 35 - Homecoming - Kayne West ft Chris Martin
36 up 1 from 37 - Moving Mountains - Usher
I thought this would've charted better than what it has.
35 down 3 from 32 - Love in This Club - Usher
34 down 1 from 33 - Violet Hill - Coldplay

They still have the No.2 album in the country with Viva la Vida.
Two songs drop out of the Top 40 this week.

Mercy - Duffy
Better in Time - Leona Lewis
2 very good songs
Hey all, I'm here. Running a bit late today. Thanks Bulion for posting all the songs that have been played so far.

Boo at both the songs that drop out of the top 40. I like both of them.

I vote The Potbelleez as the biggest riser.
33 down 2 from 31 - This Boys in Love - The Presets

Their album "Apocalypso" drops out of the Top 10 after 16 weeks in said Top 10. Longest running Top 10 album of the year so far.
Welcome Jack.

Grogsta are you still with us?
Last edited:
32 up 2 from 34 - Twisted - Brian McFadden

37-34-32 so far. Maybe next week he'll only climb on spot!!
Yeah I'm here. Not a great deal of movement in the bottom of the chart so far. I think we should see September - Cry for You debut in the twenties.
Last edited:
31 down 3 from 28 - 4 Minutes - Madonna feat Justin Timberlake.

Will her other hit climb or fall this week?
Does anybody think Gabriella's new single will climb much this week?
Hello everyone!!

I must admit this week's chart was diffucult for me to
predict, i really struggled.

Anyway, I predict that Kid Rock will be the highest riser.

And Katy Perry vs Metro Stations

who will be No.1???
30 down 1 from 29 - Don't Wanna Go to Bed Now - Gabriella Cilmi

Album falls out of the Top 10 this week.
Not much movement in the lower part of the chart this week...
Brandon, you got four predictions right this week. Two in the Top 10 and two in the Top 20.
Such a shame, Gabriella's second single isn't peaking higher.
Gabriella's song should of cracked the top 20. I am surprised it hasn't. It ain't too bad of a song.
Katy should still be #1, she has the full physical sales behind but that may change next week. One of those surprise tracks I saw in the iTunes chart is Kings of Leon - Crawl, I wonder if Sony BMG included it on the chart as it is not really the official first single.
Thankyou Bulion,

But i feel dissapointed with myself, oh well i will try harder
next week.

Anyway, is Hook n Sling No.29??, or just a new hit being played?
It's just being played. It's out in two weeks though

Last weeks biggest climber falls this week...

29 down 5 from 24 - Leave Out All the Rest - Linkin Park.

Album is still doing well. Minutes to Midnight is at No.27 this week.
Hopefully Low will be played very soon.
Nice to see Amy Pearson at No.53 on ITunes,

hopefully she will re-enter the Top 50 next week.
linkin park down 5 after a massive rise last week...
Amy didn't re-enter the Top 50 this week, The Potbelleez first single was only re-entry to the Top 50 this week.
Jack, Low does not move too much this week.
28 down 5 from 23 - Perfect - Vanessa Amorosi

Albums falls from No.29 to No.50. wooow!!
Is Miley Cyrus' lowest charting song 'Start All Over' still in the top 50? Hope 'Low' moves down quicker in the coming weeks...
Such a shame.

But at least the single spent 18 weeks in the Top 30,
that's a good thing.
Welcome along Dotty. You got four predictions right this week.
Yes Miley does still have another single inside the Top 50. She's at No.43 this week.
Are The Veronicas gonna debut with "Take Me on the Floor" I guess they are the other new entry with September.

Oops I miscalculated as Miley Cyrus has debuted already there is no room for the Veronicas, I guess Warner are holding off releasing "Take Me On the Floor"
Last edited:
Brandon, did you wanna put your comment from Top 20 Computer songs in this chat or not?
"See You Again" by Miley Cyprus has been in the Top 5 of Itunes Top 120 for such a long time!!

It's still at No.3!
No The V's don't debut this week. Miley Cyrus at No.38 is the first of two new entries so far...
Surely people are over Low?
I liked the song when it first came out but I can't stand it anymore. What is the fascination with the single... it's dated now.

If Don't Hold Back can re-enter the top 50 and they didn't play it on Rove then that should be an indication that Are You With Me should rise significatly too.
Yes, if you like
27 not moving from 27 - Dream Catch Me - Newton Faulkner

Tour edition of the No.22 album of the week "Hand Built By Robots" is out in stores this week. He's playing one date each in WA, SA, Vic, NSW & QLD during September.
I agree with you Jack,

I'm not a fan of the single "Low", but
i like "Elevator" which is a better song i think.
I wouldn't be surprised if 'Low' makes it to the top 10 of the 'Best of All Time' chart on this site. It deserves it...
(Doesn't deserve #1 though)
Newton Faultner's "Dream Catch Me" has been successful in Australia. Well done.
The Veronica's should chart well. They are getting significant airplay. Plus their singles fits in with the current theme of same gender kissing. It is a pretty catchy song.

OneRepublic don't debut this week anywhere?
after two weeks at No.30, it finally moves up the charts...

26 up 4 from 30 - Electric Feel - MGMT

Their album "Oracular Spectacular" is up to a new peak again this week of No.16.
OneRepublic don't enter the Top 50 at least.

The Veronica's album "Hook me Up" bullets back up the chart this week from No.48 to No.39.
'Low' will peak at around #7 on the best of all time, here on this site.
Where is One Republic???

Not on Itunes unfortunately, and after so many delays
with the release date. I'm annoyed.

Anyway is there a "Best Hits of all Time" thread on this site,
as stated but Dot Dot Dot.
"Give It to Me" is No.25!!, a new peak for Madge.
25 up 1 from 26 - Give it to Me - Madonna

23-26-25 so far
Brandon, there's not a thread a such, just the listing for The Best of All Time.
This Madonna song is quite ordinary. Most of Australia must agree if it can't crack the top 20.
Hey Bulion,

I'm curious, where is the Best Hits of all Time thread for
this site??
Sorry, i meant the listing, i cant see it anywhere...
Thankyou Stan.
I wonder if New Kids On The Block will debut in the top 40 next week?

Also stoked to see Dainty Kane being released at the end of the month... About bloody time!!
24 down 4 from 20 - If I Never See Your Again - Maroon 5 & Rihanna.

First of three Rihanna singles this week. All of those are within the next 12 songs.
No.24 is Maroon 5 and Rihanna, down from 20 unfortunately.
I would like to see "Disturbia" bullet into the Top 20 please.
YAY, Rihanna drops out of the top 10!!!!!!!!

Does anyone else find Jabba a bit of a toss?
23 down 6 from 17 - Sweet About Me - Gabriella Cilmi
Jabba is a tosser! Literally!
Glad this song dropped. I'm over it. Is this the biggest dropper for the week?
I think Jabba is doing a great job, and his voice is not
annoyinng.

I also love the co-host Mel, she is great.

Rihanna herself has been charting in the Top 50 since
the beginning of the year.
Thanks to the 5 singles she has released so far..

Hate That I Love You
Don't Stop The Music
Take a Bow
If I Never See Your Face Again
Disturbia
22 down 1 from 21 - Low - Flo Rida (28th Week in the Top 50)
BIGGEST DROPPER up next...
Very relieved to see Flo Rida FINALLY out of the Top 20.

Thankyou, Australia.
Low really needs to have a big drop soon. It's long overdue.
Let me guess.

Sara Barrellees "Lovesong" has fallen or
Rihanna's Take a Bow
Once the four week popularity of Step Up 2: The Streets has died down from DVD, "Low" should drop faster than the few steps it's being doing the last coupla weeks.
Last edited:
Is that what's keeping Low in the charts?
Yeah, i think it's the Itunes download sales

Flo Rida's "Low" is at No.23

What the...
I think the dropper will be Sara Bareilles too. Rihanna will be either 11 or 12 with Take a Bow.
Last edited:
BIGGEST DROPPER - Down 7 Places

21 down 7 from 14 - Love Song - Sara Bareielles

New single is called "Bottle it Up", but no release date as yet.
Grogs, Rihanna's a bit lower than that...
Sara Barellees fell to No.21!!!

It's about time..

Thank God for that.
third highest charting Aussie's up next...
It's Potbelleez or Gabriella.
Lovesong hasn't got on my nerves yet but I like how it shot up the charts, stayed in the top 10 for a few weeks and is now declining. I wish most singles would do this.
Good to see more dance in the Top 20 as September's Cry for you must be still coming up. Has a digital release date been given for P!nk's new song.
20 down 1 from 19 - Kansas City - Sneaky Sound System

Their album "2" is out next week.
No.20 is Sneaky Sound System which survives another
week in the Top 20!!!

Yay!

But why isn't it Top 10 yet!!!

No digital date for P!nk as yet. Will be in the next two weeks though.

HIGHEST NEW ENTRY up next...
Sneaky Sound System are the 4th highest charting Aussies?

The Living End, The Potbelleez & Sam Sparro are all still to come.
Oh yeah, I keep forgetting to include Sam Sparro, so thanks Jack.
I thought that Sam Sparro was British...

Can't wait until P!Nk releases her new single on Itunes,
then a video.

Followed by radio airplay and then a physical release which will come last.
Im happy that Rihanna's Take a Bow is lower than 11 or 12, it is really starting to get old quickly.
Kid Rock was confirmed to be somewhere in the Top 5!!

Yes, thankyou Australia
Swedish singer Petra Marklund is better known as September.

First Australian charting single, but has had eight in her homeland since 2003. First single was "La La La".

19 (NEW) - Cry for You - September.

I totally agree Grogsta, I hope Rihanna drops faster than Sara Bareiellas.
Two People have predicted the correct position for Kid Rock this week...
I wonder who??? hmmmm..........

Anyway, this is my first listen of September's
"Cry for You", it should be successful in clubs and
the dance chart.

Sounds great.
one of my only 2 i gather
BB, not it's not your correct ones. You got two lower Top 10 predictions correct.
18 not moving from 18 - American Boy - Estelle & Kanye West.

New single "No Substitute for Love" out August 25th.

No one got this prediction correctly.
Last edited:
I knew this wouldn't leave the top 20 this week. It had some drops in the past weeks, I expected it to stall this week for some reason.
17 up 5 from 22 - Disturbia - Rihanna

"Good Girl Gone Bad" is at No.11 this week.

Grogsta was the ONLY one to get this prediction correct
Rihanna's Disturbia has risen to No.17!!

Finally!! Yay!!
The Potbelleez have reached a new peak!!
Yes, finally!!!!!!!!
16 not moving from 16 - Elevator - Flo Rida

Dotty and Colin got the closest with this prediction. They both said it would be No.17.

BIGGEST CLIMBER up next.
BIGGEST CLIMBER - Up 10 Places

15 up 10 from 25 - Are You With Me - The Potbelleez

As I mentioned before, their previous single has re-entered at No.44 this week.

Five people predicted this correctly. Grogsta, Brandon, Qwerty, DotDotDot and Nate.
That's quite unusual for Jabba not to play the biggest rising single of the week. Dammit..

14 down 1 from 13 - White Noise - The Living End

The album also falls once place to No.4

The single since the album has come out has gone 12-13-14
The album since it first charted has done similar in 02-03-04

Nate and Qwerty were the only correct predictions for this one.

Fuck Jabba pisses me off.

Why did he skip The Potbelleez... it's this weeks biggest climber for Christ's sake.

I was looking forward to hearing that song too.

Anyone know the Nova number I'm gonna ring him up and blast the fuckin idiot?
Of all the songs to skip the Biggest Mover of the week should not have been skipped. I wonder who decides to skip these songs.
ring them on 13 24 10.
No song should be skipped in my opinion. They are the 40 biggest songs for a reason. He should not have played Pink, that'll be in the top 40 in a few weeks.

Play new music first but not in the top 40 time slot.

Jabba is a toss. Bulion please forward these messages to him.

Fancy skipping th biggest riser and skipping an Aussie. What a dickhead.
13 down 4 from 9 - Take a Bow - Rihanna

After 11 weeks inside the Top 10, she finally drops down.

Rebecca, l! and Brandon got this one correct.

The reason why Jabba skips the song,
is because of the time. According to their program log,
they have to take out some songs to make up for lost time.

Well he could of skipped the songs that are not in the top 40 like Pink.
That's what i think, only because the show must finish at a certain time.

Jabba is not deliberately doing it.
12 not moving from 12 - Viva la Vida - Coldplay

only ONE person predicted this position, Nate. and only one person got No.11 correct too....
Not this weeks biggest riser and especially not an Aussie Artist.
Oh, i wanted "Viva La Vida" to be in the Top 10, where it belongs.
I forget to tell you all that The Veronica's new single "Take Me On the Floor" debuted at No.22 on the ARIA downloads chart this week, but I think Warner will put it in the charts over the next few weeks.
Wow, can't wait for the music video and physical single.

The Veronicas have been getting a lot of publicity lately.
11 not moving for a third week - Closer - Ne-Yo

Usher spent three non-consecutive weeks at No.11 after spending two weeks at No.8 back in June. Now Ne-Yo knocks on the door for a third week, having already peaked at No.10. Poor guy

Only Colin predicted this position.

One of the two big Top 10 climbers up next... (clue, it sounds like Jack Johnson but it ain't)
Jack is right!!!! Jabba should be skipping songs that are NOT in the top 40 because this is what the show is! NOT Jabba's favourite fucking hits. If they had to skip a song, skip 'Low' or 'Sweet About Me'. Not the biggest riser of the week! Told ya Jabba is a tosser!
Neyo is still at No.11!!!
Just skipped Closer too!!
What songs did Jabba play that were not in this weeks top 40?

i'm on hold now.
It's up to the producer of the radio show in the control room to decide which songs are played.
10 up 5 from 15 - I'm Yours - Jason Mraz

DotDotDot and l! predicted this one.

Jason scores his first Top 10 single and album all in the same week. His album climbs to No.8 this week.

Eveyone please calm down.

The show could be finishing overtime, because it's
3:30pm, and there are 10 songs left, usually there are 6 of 7 left.

They might finish overtime today, like e.g. 4:08pm
Well the producer's should be shot then!!!
Brandon, I bet if The Veronicas or a favourite artist of yours was skipped you'd be pissed too!
How much is Jabba paying you to defend 'there' choices?
Last edited:
or 6:08 pm for the Eastern States B
Brandon, that's not the point.

I tune into the top 40 show wanting to listen to the 40 biggest hits of the week.

Pink's song was not in the countdown and they played it... I'm sure her song will be in the countdown within the next few weeks.

New music should not be played now.

Bulion please forward these messages on because Are You With Me & Closer are both great songs and shouldn't of been skipped.
Oh,wow.

Cause i'm in Perth, how funny.

Yes i would be pissed off, but i study radio at uni and have worked in community radio stations.

9 up 1 from 10 - Just Dance - Lady GaGa

Only Qwerty got this prediction right. Most People thought it would have been higher
I don't get why Warner doesn't let the Veronicas chart. Oh and that Jason Mraz' tune makes me wanna sleep.
Anyway,

changing the subject

Lady Gaga is at No.9!!, which is higher than last week.

BB your two correct predictions are up next, back-to-back
8 down 1 from 7 - Forever - Chris Brown

Only BB and Qwerty predicted this one correctly.

hey
a bit late but great to see september charting high
hope mel eventually takes over jabba
So Bulion, are you going to tell Jabba off for not
playing certain songs.

Because listeners can complain if they want to.
Lady GaGa must be lagging a bit in physical sales cos she has been around 4, 5 and 6 for most of the week on iTunes. Good to see physical sales still having an impact even though it is not a great impact.
why excatly is this song being played?
Lady Gaga is up to No.7 (from 11) on the ARIA download this week
Ok, I spoke to Nova.

Stupid move for cutting out The Potbelleez and Ne-Yo. I told them bout this site and that a few of us are not happy bout how they cut out songs.

If they needed to skip songs, the older songs like Low or Take A Bow should of been skipped and this was pointed out to them. Hopefully this will be the case in the future if they so need to play the most requested songs like Pink.
To promote the new Whitlams Best Of which debuted at No.3. Warner have been plugging this album everywhere this week, even on Today Tonight!!
It's a song from The Whitlams' Best Of which has debuted at #3 on the albums chart.
And then they play this? I'm falling asleep here...

Surely this isn't a highly requested song.

Stick to the top 40 guys!!!
7 down 1 from 6 - See You Again - Miley Cyrus

BB, Colin and Rhys predicted this one.

New album is due at the end of August.
I thought this would of cracked the top 5.
Sorry, if Pink's "So What" is being played because it's the most requested song then they should play it at 2:55 before the top 40 show starts and then again at 6:00 when the show finishes.

I agree, the top 40 show should be purely for the top 40 biggest songs. I was not happy with todays show, especially when they cut out The Potbelleez.

Nova should play it extra this week.
6 down 1 from 5 - No Air - Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown

Colin, Nate, I.E. and Rhys were all over this prediction.

No Air has been around for a while now. Surely this is one of 2008's biggest sellers.
5 down 1 to 4 - Black and Gold - Sam Sparro

5-4-4-5 in the Top 10 so far.

Nate, I.E., l! and Rhys got this one right.

I'm stoked Black & Gold has had some success down under. It's a great song.
Black & Gold is #1 on my charts, probly be it's 3rd week in a row this week
Do u do ur own chart BB?
That is wrong, Pussycat Dolls have won a Moonman for
Best Dance Video in 2006.

They have been nominated several times before.
4 down 2 from 2 - When I Grow Up - The Pussycat Dolls

After 3 weeks at No.2, the girl-troupe are unable to Grow another No.1 single

Colin and l! were the only one to predict this at No.4, most people said No.3
3 up 5 from 8 - All Summer Long - Kid Rock

No.1 single in Austria, Germany, Ireland and Switzerland this week

His album "Rock 'N' Roll Jesus" is out August 25th.

No.2 downloaded song of the week

Rebecca and l! were the only one to put this at No.3 in their lists!!
It's gonna be another late-running show this week
No.3 is Kid Rock!!!

Oh my gosh, that is so good

Physical sales really helped Rock
My prediction

A 6:08pm finish.
I do my own charts weekly but I only use the songs that are in the Top 50. Songs can differ in position by only 10 places to the official A.R.I.A position of the week.
Kid Rock should really come out to Oz to premote this song... could have potential to be a #1 hit!
BB do u publish your chart anywhere?

There is another site where people from around the world publish their personal charts and then a global chart is made up based on everyones top 50s!!!

Be good to get more Aussies included.
I'm so nervous.

Please be No.1 Katy Perry
Hey Jack,

what's the website called?
Hey team,
chart show producer here.
Apologies for dropping two songs. Its not something that we normally do, in fact its something we try and avoid doing at all costs. Unfortunatley today we had a few extra commitments to get out by certain timea and from 5.00pm AEST timing is crucial. Just want you to know we understand how important each song is...its all good, we love The Potbelleez and Neyo here at nova. We'll give em love.
cheers
No I don't but as Brandon has just asked what website is that? I'd be more than interested
2 up 1 from 3 - Shake it - Metro Station

No.1 downloaded song of the week

Will probably be No.1 next week, although Kid Rock could be.

8 people predicted this one.
Nice once Stef. That's really something nice for a currently airing program have the producer take time out to chat on such a forum.
YES!!!!!!!!!

IM SO HAPPY!!!

Katy Perry is No.1 again!!!

7 weeks in America,

5 weeks in Australia!!!

Now Katy joins Gabriella and Leona, as all 3 ladies
have been at No.1 for 5 weeks.

But, Katy Perry has spent 5 straight weeks, unlike
Gaby and Leona.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Let's see which of the three Katy Perry info that I have to Jabba that he'll read out...?
5 straight weeks!! thankyou.

Katy speaks...

Katy holds on for a 5th week. I used to do my own chart but stopped a few years ago as I didn't have the time. My own chart used to have a lot of club/dance tracks.
1 not moving from 1 for a fifth week - I Kissed a Girl - Katy Perry

drop from No.1 in the downloads chart.

8 people predicted this one too.

Her album "One of the Boys" debuted at No.12 this week.
M4B Charts Central is the name of the site.

http://freakyflybry.proboards70.com/index.cgi?board=top50&action=display&thread=29616 Is the link for last weeks Global chart.

http://freakyflybry.proboards70.com/index.cgi?board=personalcharts Is the link to publish your personal charts. You do have to become a member before you publish anything on this site.

More Aussies would be great, especially as most people are from USA or Canada and most Aussie artists don't chart well on the global chart as by the time the yanks chart them us Aussies have charted them.
I do my own chart all the time, it changes weekly.
and it's a normal thing for any music fan to do...

Please be No.1 for 6th week Katy!!!, that's the new aim.
If she does she will be the longest charting No.1 of the year

Finish 18:12
The show finishes over 10 min late.

Thankyou for apologising Stefan
pleasure Bulion. Hope everyone enjoyed the show.
Catch you next week,
my prediction - Metro Station number 1!
cheers
stefan
Is that global chart,
the same as the United World Chart or....
is there a different World Top 40 chart.
Well Katy Perry has not gotten to #1 in my personal chart & never will, her peak is #8.
Thanks Stefan, for posting that message and thanks for listening to my rant earlier.

Btw, I had logged off the site when I was on the phone to u so am glad u took the time 2 track it down.

Hopefully you guys don't skip too many songs in the near future and can give The Potbelleez a few extra spins this week. Afterall, they are Aussie and deserve it!
Yeah thank you aswell Nova Stefan.
Thankyou Jack for the websites and
everyone else for logging on and chatting.

It has been fun.

Yeah, there were some good discussions this week. Maybe next week we'll get more people on board
Brandon, I don't think it's the same as the United World Chart. I believe the United World Chart is based on official charts from various countries.

The Admin from the site of the links I sent you adds up everyones personal charts by giving the #1 song 50 points, #2 49 points down to the #50 song 1 point and then ranks them accordingly.

As you can see in the Global chart there are a few Aussies in the top 50. The Veronicas (x2), Delta, Kylie, Gabriella and Sam Sparro. Mainly all the internationaly recognised Aussie artists.
Yes, it looks great

Do you have to be a member to log in.
I've joined & will do a weekly chart updated every Monday evening.

I managed some time to do my weekly chart

Brandon, you have to be a member to post messages, yes. It's free to join all you need is a valid e-mail address. You don't get junk in your inbox either. I've been a member since 2004 and had no problems. It's actually a very friendly community. The only downfall is that most members are American or Canadian and only favour music from those countries and don't pay attention 2 much music from around the world, especially Aussie talent.

The new Global chart comes out every Sunday evening (New York/Toronto time) so Monday morning Sydney time.
Jack, good on you for ringing Nova up and complaining. I was listening to the countdown on my way back from the snow and was VERY annoyed at the fact 2 songs were skipped. Especially 2 boppy and 2 not so old tracks. One was even the weeks highest climber.

What made this even more frustrating is that they played 3 songs that arn't even in the countdown. 2 which are new songs that I agree will probably be charting in a few weeks and one rather boring and older song.

Nova ought to play both The Potbelleez and Ne-Yo extra times this week becuase by skipping these songs they are fair from premoting them. I am The Potbelleez biggest fan and was very annoyed when this song was skipped.

Nova Stefan, I'm impressed you took the time to leave a message and I hope you consider all the points raised above. The top 40 show should only consist of the top 40 songs. Cut out all the nonsense and cut out half of Jabba's stupidity and you might find that your show will finish on time. Otherwise ask whoever is in charge for an extra 15 mins of airing time? We tune in to listen to the top 40 songs. Not the new stuff. The new stuff like someone mentioned above should be played just before the top 40 show starts and again when the show finishes if the song is that popular you feel the need to play and premote it.

Anyway, there's my 2 cents. Glad I'm not the only one who shares these thoughts.
I haven't been able to listen to the show yet...but am getting a pretty clear picture of it...heh heh.

The old Take 40 I remember (I always seem to be talking about the old days, and I do apologize!!!) with Barry, played a selection of new releases in one hit during the show...but just a portion of each song. I think it's good to play new releases for people who don't get that info from this site, but not whole songs, and certainly not at the expense of songs IN the Top 40.

I get to tune in to my first show next week (finally get a Sunday off!!!) and see what this Jabba is all about!
Thanks Lou for your comment.

However, I should also mention that until today I was always under the impression Jabba decieded what songs were skipped mainly becuase when Leona Lewis' song Better In Time was charting he skipped it regularly because he admitted to hating it. Jabba doesn't deciede and I should apologise for blaming and calling him certain names on here as it's really not fair to him.

Secondly, I should thank Stefan from Nova who I spoke to earlier who was easy to talk to and voice my opinion too. As I said above I was rather impressed with how he tracked this site down to post a message on here for all of us top 40 fans. I believe he will take on board our criticisms to make the top 40 show more enjoyable.

Also while I'm thanking people, thanks to Gav (Bulion) for your work this arvo. I know a few of us were giving the Nova guys a hard time and it probably wasn't all that fair on you as you do somewhat work/associate with them. Also thanks for all your chart stats and posts this arvo, you made it more worthwhile.

See you all next week and we'll see if Stefan's prediction is right?
I missed yesterdays show but I am very dissapointed that Nova skipped those 2 songs.
Beanster!
Like your chart
but are you gonna give us the HP positions of em all!!
Wow! Roxette back in the charts!
I just downloaded that song out of interest. It's brilliant!
