Pink stays at No.1 for a third week on the Australian single chart, equaling her longest run at the top, May 2001's collaborative effort, "Lady Marmalade", so if she stays one or any more weeks at the top, it'll become her longest running No.1 single in Australia.
Lady GaGa was in the country at the end of last week; start of this week, which has helped push her single "Just Dance" back up one spot to No.2, and her second single joins it in the charts this week. For another week there are NO new entries to the Top 10, just a small shuffling of titles, with Kings of Leon moving up one place to No.5 with "Sex on Fire", Katy Perry's "Hot N' Cold" breaks a three-week-stay at No.7 by moving up one to No.6, and the other one-place-mover comes from MGMT's "Electric Feel", now up to No.9 after two weeks at No.10.
There are two six-place climbers of the week, both becoming the biggest upward-movers. "One Step at a Time" by Jordin Sparks is up to No.12, possibly giving her a third Top 10 single next week. And the third single from The Presets, "Talk Like That" is up to No.39, helped along by a physical release, plus their album is being re-issued as a repackaged CD this coming week.
In December 2006, Jessica Mauboy became a runner-up on Australia Idol , only making the album charts in early 2007 with her collection of songs sung only the show, "The Journey" (No.4, March 2007). Now she debuts with her first solo single at No.13 this week, "Running Back", on downloads alone, (Physical single released Oct 13th) featuring guest vocals by Flo Rida. Her first studio album "Been Waiting" is due by years end.
Clifford Harris celebrated his 28th birthday two weeks ago (25th Sept), but better known on the charts as T.I., his best present was to be No.1 on the U.S. Charts with "Whatever You Like". That song is at No.1 for a sixth week this week, and debuts at No.25 on the Australian charts. It's taken from his sixth album "Paper Trail" which is out next week, and is his second SOLO Top 50 single in Australia, having previously reached No.49 in August 2006 with "Why You Wanna". He has also appeared as guest vocalist on "My Love" (No.3, Nov. 2006) and teamed up with 2Pac and Ashanti on "Pac's Life" (No.34, Dec. 2006).
Right behind T.I. at No.26 is the second single from Lady GaGa, "Poker Face". Her former No.1 single "Just Dance" is back up one place to No.2 this week, and with her promo tour during the past week, her second single has been rush-released, with the CD Single due out at the end of October. The promo tour also helped push her album "The Fame" to it's highest peak of No.11 this week.
Sydney teenage-band Short Stack debut at No.31 with their first single "Shimy a Go Go", which will get more exposure via both their prolific MySpace page, and their upcoming National Tour with Simple Plan during mid-October.
The Jonas Brothers stay put at No.38 with "Burnin' Up" this week, but joining that track on the charts at No.46 is another single from the 'Camp Rock' Soundtrack, "This is Me", a duet between Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato. 'Camp Rock' is the biggest climbing album of the week, up 20 places to No.13 this week (aah school holidays!!).
Kings of Leon spend a second week at the top of the Australian Album charts with their "Only By the Night" set. They do continue to have three albums inside the Top 50 ("Youth and Young Manhood" drops out), and the album has topped the charts in Ireland, New Zealand and England, plus is Top 10 in Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and in Canada and America it debuted at No.5.
The highest new album comes in at No.4, "Shogun" by Trivium. Their third album "The Crusade" reached No.14 in October 2006, which at the time was their first Top 50 album in this country. Now they have surpassed that, and also scored a Top 5 album in the process.
Shannon Noll was the runner-up of the first Australian Idol, but he has out-charted the Idol-winner Guy Sebastian with more singles and higher placed albums. Guy has had a No.1, No.2, No.3 and No.4 album, whilst Shannon has had two No.1, a No.3 and now a No.7 with his Greatest Hits collection entitled "No Turning Back: The Story So Far", which features his current single "Summertime" which has peaked at No.54 so far. 22-Feb-04*HP-01*WI-39 - That's What I'm Talking About (4 weeks at No.1) 31-Oct-05*HP-01*WI-53 - Lift (1 week at No.1) 30-Sep-07*HP-03*WI-15 - Turn it Up 06-Oct-08*HP-07*WI-01* - No Turning Back: The Story So Far
California's Cold War Kids score their first Top 50 album in Australia with "Loyalty to Loyalty" coming in at No.20. Their previous album from 2007 was called "Robbers and Cowards". Entering right behind at No.21 is the second album for James Morrison, entitled "Song for You, Truths for Me", it's the follow-up to his "Undiscovered" album which hit No.17, and debuted on the charts exactly two years ago this week.
It's been three years since Ben Folds has graced out charts, and this week he has a new entry at No.25, which is called "Way to Normal", his seventh studio album, but sixth to chart in Australia. His previous efforts were... 21-July-96*HP-37*WI-05 - Ben Folds Five 12-Apr-98*HP-08*WI-32 - Whatever and Ever Amen 09-May-99*HP-05*WI-06 - The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner 23-Sep-01*HP-18*WI-05 - Rockin' the Suburbs 24-Apr-05*HP-09*WI-04 - Songs for Silverman 06-Oct-08*HP-25*WI-01*- Way to Normal
Right behind Ben Folds is another new entry, by Australian rockers End of Fashion, who takes their second album "Book of Lies" in at No.26. Their first album was the No.3 self-titled set from September 2005.
Pink Floyd guitarist and vocalist David Gilmour enters that charts for the first time in two years with a live set which was released in five different versions, entitled "Live in Gdansk". It was recorded in the shipyards of the Baltic town with the Baltic Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. His last charting album was the No.23 album "On an Island" (April 2006), which many of the tracks on this new album are taken from.

great to see Taylor Swift getting releases in aus, with great succes in usa but i think it will be ignored in here like many america female country singlers.
shannon noll is struggling to stay in the charts i doubt his next album will reach top 10. btw what happened to guy sebastion? the only active idol i see is ricki lee (jessica mouboy's song sucks in my opinion)
Hey, I still listened to the show but i did not get to write in the forum. A great chart, Shame there were no re entries but lots of New ones. Was very dissapointed to see 2 correct predictions. Like to aim for 4 next week. Will post next predictions from Wed-sat.

Hi. I read this site religiously, being a very avid chart and cd sales follower. Only now felt the inclination to join to clarify a few things. Bullion you point out Shannon Noll having a higher chart position for albums than Guy Sebastian, but that doesn't tell the whole story. I don't dispute Shannon's singles history. Pretty amazing record. Something he does not unfortunately seem to be maintaining now though, with his last 2 singles debuting at #26 and #54. Gone are the heady days of instant hits for Shannon Noll.
But your take on the album success is slightly off the mark in my opinion. The only album Shannon has outsold Guy with is with their second albums. Guy outsold Shannon with his first album. He actually only failed by 10,000 albums from achieving 7xP. There is no denying Shannon's 2nd album performed way better than Guy's. Guy did not reach #1 because he was up against Robbie Williams. Hard to get #1, even with around 21,000 sales in your 1st week when you are up against that sort of opposition. Beautiful Life went on to sell in excess of 100,000, but of course nowhere near Shannon's 3 P. But if you look closely at the record for their 3rd albums you will see something quite interesting. Both accredited Platinum, and Guy's verified as actually selling very, very close to the actual Platinum accreditation it received. Shannon on the other hand went Platinum before actually reaching Gold sales, and finished on the Highest Selling Album Charts for 2007 below 2 albums which were only accredited Gold. Turn It Up finished the year at #58, below Led Zeppelin's Mothership at #50 and Kelly Clarkson's My December at #53. Both only gold accredited albums, but selling more than Shannon's Platinum one. Screams false Platinum to me. Interesting with the 1st and second singles of their 3rd albums, Guy outperformed both in the charts and in sales. Guy's Taller Stronger Better, highest position #3, 5 weeks in Top 10, 13 weeks in Top 50, Gold Accredited. Elevator love, highest position #11, 9 weeks in Top 20, 15 weeks in Top 50, Gold Accredited. Shannon's Loud, highest position #3, 1 week in Top 10, 10 Weeks in Top 50, no accreditation. In Pieces, highest position #26, 5 weeks in Top 50, no accreditation.
4th albums are very interesting. The Memphis Album sold in excess of 100,000 in its first 7 weeks and went on to become 2XP in its 10th week, and is one of only 3 Australian albums to achieve more than Platinum accreditation this last Aria year. Hence its inclusion in the nominations for Highest Selling Album. Delta is certainly going to be the winner of that but Guy is no lower than the third highest seller. Which actually makes him the highest selling Australian Male this Aria year. The two in front are female artists. And before anyone mentions the words covers xmas album, it is worth noting it is the only covers album released near xmas last year that went more than Platinum, and the only one which stayed in the charts for 11 weeks post Xmas.
Shannon's 4th album debuted on the charts this week at #7. Given some of the albums above him I would not be surprised if it sold no more than 4,000 copies, and that is with a special addition release as well. Both counting towards the one chart position. It will take a long time to come anywhere near Guy's 4th album, and my guess is it never will.
And colindacascadaho, you ask where Guy is. Well he of course released one of the highest sellers last year, a soul covers album recorded in Memphis with some of the original band members and even one of the original songwriters of some of the most famous Memphis soul classics ever. A song Guy wrote was also used as the anthem for World Youth Day and was downloaded in the hundreds of thousands from the WYD site, and was played and sung in celebrations which reached millions around the world.
Last week he performed a duet with Olivia Newton-John at the Sydney State Theatre, and he is currently performing in the Legacy concerts around Australia with the Army Band. Earlier this year he was on stage with an amazing band. Some real soul legends were members of it. Steve Cropper, and Donald "Duck" Dunn to name two. They came downunder to be part of Guy's backing band on his tour because in their own words he "blew their socks off" when he recorded with them in Memphis last year. They have not finished with Guy yet either. The Memphis Album is being released early next year in the USA. Guy has also written some stuff with Steve for his next originals album, and the band wants to perform with him in the States. Steve can't stop talking about Guy either. So many interviews he has been doing lately for another album he was involved in, Guy's name just pops right up. The last time a few weeks ago Steve referred to him as one of the greatest singer/guitar players he has ever worked with. Now that coming from a legend is pretty amazing praise.
Anyway as you say Ricki is more visible. Mainly because she is on the radio and in that strange part she plays on idol as a totally unnecessary third wheel. But look at her album chart history and you see the real picture. Singles don't make a lot of money. Albums and concerts do. Ricki has only spent 4 weeks total in the Top 50 with albums, highest position #30. While both eventually were accredited Gold, what is the bet Ricki would trade every bit of radio play she has had in the last few years for Guy's 10 Platinum album accreditations and actual sales of around 800,000 albums. Not singles and albums. Albums alone. My guess is she would do it in a heartbeat.
Guy and Shannon are about to attempt the overseas market. Shannon is reprising his role in The War Of The Worlds, this time on the UK tour and releasing an album there. Guy is releasing an album in the States with the best soul band in music history standing beside him. May the best man win
Anyway as this post will most likely go down like a lead balloon I will bid you farewell. Happy chart following. Last edited:

1) What song will eventually knock Pink off the top and why and when?
I think Pink will secure the top spot for the rest of October as she will be in the country performing at the Arias and all. As for what song will replace her, I really have no idea as no song is really showing much potential. Womanizer will crack the top 10, possably top 5 but I don't see it good enough to get #1. Perhaps T.I could be another Flo Rida in the coming weeks. His single is sitting in the top 20 digital chart. With a bit of premotion the song could be a hit cos it is pretty catchy.
2) Do you think Katy Perry will manage a top 5 peak with Hot n Cold?
I think Katy's chances of the top 5 are becomming less and less from now on as she is declining on the digital chart. She was #2 last week but this week she has fallen to #5. So I believe Hot n Cold wont crack the top 5.
3) Do you think Jordin Sparks will score a 3rd top 10 hit?
Yes, Jordin should score a third top 10 hit. It's bulleted up the charts the past few weeks and I think it'll knock Rihanna or Ne-yo out of there in the next 2 weeks. Her peak might not be as good as her previous 2 singles but she should peak atleast at #10.
4) Can the Ting Tings score a new peak in the coming weeks?
I hope the Ting Tings move up. I believe this would be there last week to do so as they've been in the country and the single is available on both digital and physical formats. I believe it deserves a top 10 peak but only time will tell.
5) Will T.I. have his first Aussie hit (not including My Love)?
Yes I believe this song will be another Low or Crank That. His previous singles have flopped in Oz and this debuted at #25 on digital sales alone. With a bit of premotion this could go far. This is also the current #1 on Billboard which shows there is signs for this to be a hit. This is the first single of his I've actually liked so I hope it moves up.
I agree with Kacy. Guy Sebastian has had more success (if only limited) overseas than Shannon Noll so far anyway. He's had two top 5 songs in New Zealand, and two top 2 songs in Malaysia from "Just as I Am", while Shannon only managed a top 40 peak in New Zealand with "That's What I'm Talking About", and a top 10 single ("What About Me?"). I'm not saying one's better than the other, it's just evident Guy Sebastian has been more successful and sold more copies than Shannon Noll, although I do like Guy more. Shannon Noll's only stand-out song(s) to me has(ve) been "What About Me?", and maybe "Lift". Guy's had more stand-out songs to me: "Angels Brought Me Here", "All I Need is You", "Out with My Baby", "Oh Oh", and "Elevator Love" are all great songs. But that's just my opinion (Although they both did "Rise Up", which I still like.)
And as for Jack's questions, I hope the Ting Tings can score a new peak, although they might not. I seriously thought "Great DJ" would go top 50, but it hasn't yet, and it's fallen out of the top 100 on iTunes, so it's obviously not going to. I think personally it's a better song than "That's Not My Name". I've heard so many people say "what is this retarded song?" in regards to "That's Not My Name", so I beg the question, who is still buying it?
As for T.I., he's had alot of success in America; his last two studio albums ("King" and "T.I. vs. T.I.P.") both went to #1, as did "Whatever You Like", which is still #1 on the Hot 100 there if I'm not mistaken. He's really had limited success worldwide however.
And I really hope "Sex on Fire" will knock "So What" out of the top spot. I like both songs, but I've been really addicted to Kings of Leon's lead single lately.
And on Katy Perry, and Jordin Sparks, I wouldn't be surprised if they can both (respectively) pull off a top 5 and a top 10.
Finally, on Britney Spears, what's all the hype for? It's really unusual. I only just heard "Womanizer" today, and I'll say now, it's not as good as "Gimme More" or "Piece of Me". It might grow on me, but it just doesn't really have an upbeat hook that you can catch onto. But that's just me.
P.S. I can't wait for "4:13 Dream" by the Cure to come out. I read someone saying it would be guaranteed a #1 debut due to recent physical sales of the 4 singles and the EP, "Hypnagogic States". I don't think so, but I hope it does better than their 2004 self-titled effort, which only just managed to go top 30 here, and top 10 in the UK and U.S.
1 - Pink will stay No.1 until the end of October hopefully leaving the options open for these songs i predict will be No.1 by the end of the year: - Im Yours ( it will be No.1 after Pink for only a week) - Running Back (after Mraz) 3 weeks at #1 - Whatever you like 2 weeks at No.1 after Mauboy - Im Not Over ( No.1 for rest of year) after TI
2 - I think it will peak at about 4 by the end of the month
3 - One step at a time will have its peak at about 8-5 by the end of October.
4 - Ting Tings will be about 12 next week. I think their peak will be about 10-7
5 - I think he will. The song isnt that great, but he made it in the US, So anythings possible.
Doesn anyone know what position Soul Sound by Sugababes peaked on. Im looking for either Singles chart, or hitseekers chart. I can't find it but i know it was released as a cd single cuz i have it lol. Please help me
in my opinion 1) as many have said, P!nk will remain at number 1 until the ARIA hype is gone and sells move towards the new album. But she might be on n off swoping places with Lady Gaga. These two weeks will be last chance for Lady Gaga to retain no.1 as attention is swifting to "Poker Face". I think the new number 1 will be Jason Mraz since nothing new is promising enough. Then Britney takes over. I know many people dislike her or the song, but as long as people hate it, other people will like it then the buzz about it will increase, she will probably hit no.1 when the 2 versions of the physical single is in-stores.
2) Although the digital sales has lowered, the video has just been freshly released, if a physical release is to occur by the end of the month it will secure a top 5
3)Like her previous 2 singles, physical sales is very strong for Jordin Sparks, even though she is declining in itunes slightly, she will eventually at least hit #10 as there are many old songs in the top 10.
4)I personally love the song, this song is top 10 material but lack of physical sales is stopping it, it will diefinatly have a higher peak, but top 10 or not. the more annoying a song is, the more attention it gets (crank that, psycho teddy, hollaback girl).
5) T.I. will have his first top 15 hit in a few weeks based on strong downloads, but the genre of the song will not give as much spins on radio. i think Live Your Life will be a bigger hit as it features Rihanna.
Jack, you're a good man as you've got everyone focusing on someone other than Ms. Spears even if she does feature in some of the answers it's good to get a discussion happening. I love your work my friend.
1. I think Jason Mraz has potential to be the next #1, however I think Pink is strong enough to drop off and then re-gain the top spot again. So Jason Mraz & Pink will battle the #1 spot over the coming weeks. After that I think Britney might have a chance only because people will be over Pink & Jason Mraz. However Britney usually debuts high and falls fairly quickly so she might only have a week at the top and then fall. I guess we'll find out once her physical is released.
2. Hot n Cold could have a chance to peak in the top 5 once it's physically released. It could even go #1 as I can't really see a stand out song for the #1 position in the coming weeks. However, I think once it's physically released most people will be over it. I predict it will go to #3.
3. Jordin will continue to rise and I hope it does because I rate this chick. I hope she peaks somewhere in the top 5. I'll be very surprised if she doesn't peak in the top 10. Her chart run has been bulleting each week, similar to that of I'm Yours which bulleted it's way until it got to top 10. I predict it will go to #4.
4. The Ting Tings song is good but gets annoying I think. I think it will peak at #11 and just miss the top 10. I was surprised it didn't rise last week. But I don't see it making the top 10 as I feel people are over the song.
5. T.I. will rise but I agree with Colin...dah the genre of music isn't supported on radio. If he comes out to premote the single than it could benefit but otherwise I think it will chart similar to Kiss Kiss and Love In This club where it will make the top 10 for a week or 2 and hang around the teens due to it's catchiness. I think the song with Rihanna will be a bigger hit also due to the fact she features in it.
1. Britney will be the next #1 after Pink. Britney will be #1 once her physical single is released. Jason Mraz or Kings Of Leon have a slight chance but both have physical and digital releases so I think both will miss out on the top spot.
2. Katy Perry will peak somewhere in the top 5 once her physical is released. I think she will go as high as #2. She will fall short of the #1 spot.
3. Jordin Sparks will rise to about #5. I think if it was going to be any bigger it would of been in the top 10 already.
4. Ting Tings will rise this week but I agree will miss the top 10. This week will be it's highest peak. #13 I say.
5. T.I. Will miss the top 10 too. I think he will make the top 20 but I don't expect it to be that big of a song. Australians don't like Rap. #17 will be where he peaks around.
I personally think theres several songs over the coming weeks that could reach the top to be honest. Jason Mraz is the biggest threat at the moment but i reckon Jessica Mauboy stands a chance, as does Britney (its already #1 on itunes in the US), Nickelback(its already exploding on radio) and TI/Rihanna (breaks the US record for biggest digital 1st week sales!-334,000). If not #1, there'll all be top 3/5 IMO.
I wonder if the Idol Winner will do it later this year as well? Natalie failed last year. Anyone know who's the favourite to win?
I reckon Pink is safe for a few more weeks though.
1 So what - P!nk 2 Just dance - Lady Gaga 3 I'm yours - Jason Mraz 4 Sex on fire - Kings of Leon 5 Hot n cold - Katy Perry 6 Electric feel - MGMT 7 Shake it - Metro Station 8 All summer long - Kid Rock 9 Running back - Jessica Mauboy 10 Disturbia - Rihanna 11 Womanizer - Britney Spears 12 Closer - Ne*Yo 13 One step at a time 14 Thats not my name - Ting Tings 15 Gotta be somebody - Nickelback 16 7 things - Miley Cyrus 17 Use somebody - Kings of Leon 18 Dance wiv me - Dizzee Rascal 19 Forever - Chris Brown 20 When i grow up - Pussycat Dolls
Pink will be #1 for another week until Kings Of Leon take over. Pink will regain the top spot the following week as she will be in Oz and performing at the Arias. Britney will replace her the following week for no more than 2 weeks then The Pussycat Dolls will score a 2nd #1 hit with their single as it's seems to be getting alot of positve reviews and airplay. PCD's will be #1 until the Idol song is released. I imagine after Idol's poor efforts last year they'll premote the winning single a bit differently this year which will see for a #1 single by the winner. So There you have the next 2 months of #1 songs.
Other possabilities or songs that will come close include:
Jason Mraz which should jump to #2 this week but will just fall short of the top spot. The song is getting a bit old now and I think this weeks will be it's last chance as Kings Of Leon will be #1 the week after.
Jessica Mauboy will rise but it all depends on how she premotes this song. A few performances on Rove and Idol could see this song kick some butt, however over the next few weeks she has some stiff competition in the likes of Pink & Britney. After that I think her song will be getting old and not as popular.
Nickelback are doing well after a few days on the digitial chart but I don't think this will give them their first Oz #1. It will peak high enough but Pink & Britney will stop it from the top spot.
Katy Perry should rise into the top 3 once she has CD singles in stores but again I think she'll fall short of the top spot.
T.I. has a good chance at the top spot and condsidering he's moved into the top 20 digital chart there's only room for improvement. His CD single will be the deciding factor.
Beyonce will chart highly based on the fact it's her so this slow ballad might secure a week on top but depending on it's release date.
As the ARIA Chart was late this week, due to the NSW public holiday on Monday, here is the next 10 downloads:
41 (35) - Love Song - Sara Bareilles 42 (Re) - The Best Thing - Hook N' Sling 43 (33) - Kansas City - Sneaky Sound System 44 (32) - Love Lockjaw - Kanye West 45 (Ne) - Kids - MGMT 46 (36) - Sweet About Me - Gabriella Cilmi 47 (42) - Burnin' Up - Jonas Brothers 48 (49) - Cookie Jar - Gym Class Heroes 49 (45) - Forgive Me - Leona Lewis 50 (41) - Take a Bow - Rihanna
In answer to the question above about physical and digital only singles, the following Top 50 positions this week are DIGITAL only tracks, everything else is a combination of both the physical and digital release...
So 14 of this weeks Top 50 are digital only titles. Another easy way to tell what is physical and what is digital is by the catalogue number assigned on the right hand side of the chart. If it has a really long number with 12 to 14 numbers, or an unusual or different looking cat number, then it most likely is a digital track.
You can also look at the physical singles chart, and do a cross comparison with the overall Top 100, and see what is avilable to buy and what is not.

For "I can admit to liking a Kanye song."...just saw a couple of podcasts of the Ellen Degeneres show with Kanye West performing "Love Lockdown". It's on iTunes (show date : 10/08/08) and it's brilliant. Using African drums, it really puts the song in perspective. I'm sure it will be on YouTube soon enough.
I got bored bored at work last night, so I'm gonna give this a shot. Have no idea what I'm doing...heh heh!

Hi Innocent Eyes, The song was definitely added on Tuesday but if Sony BMG treat it the same way as P!nk's So What it won't debut until it has had a full week of sales. I have noticed that a lot of us including myself have been predicting a week ahead of time. So I have decided to put a Top 20 prediction that has not too much change, hopefully I'm wrong because I prefer to see an erratic chart. I will catch you all later for the ARIA Chart show.
1. SO WHAT - P!nk 2. JUST DANCE - Lady GaGa Feat. Colby O'Donis 3. I'M YOURS - Jason Mraz 4. ALL SUMMER LONG - Kid Rock 5. SEX ON FIRE - Kings Of Leon 6. HOT N COLD - Katy Perry 7. Well if there's no more predictions, then here are this week overall predictions:
1 - So What - Pink 2 - Just Dance - Lady GaGa 3 - I'm Yours - Jason Mraz 4 - Sex on Fire - Kings of Leon 5 - Hot N' Cold - Katy Perry 6 - All Summer Long - Kid Rock 7 - Shake it - Metro Station 8 - Electric Feel - MGMT 9 - Disturbia - Rihanna 10 - Running Back - Jessica Mauboy 11 - One Step at a Time - Jordin Sparks 12 - Closer - Ne-Yo 13 - 7 Things - Miley Cyrus 14 - That's Not My Name - The Ting Tings 15 - Womanizer - Britney Spears 16 - When I Grow Up - Pussycat Dolls 17 - Cry for You - September 18 - Dance Wiv' Me - Dizzee Rascal 19 - Gotta Be Somebody - Nickelback 20 - Forever - Chris Brown
I'm gonna guess Burnin' up as fastest mover and the presets second fastest! Looks like Ricki-Lee lives to fight another day and Britney will have to wait another week (unless Nickelback are doing the waiting!)
Anyone remeber when Colbie Caillat was No.1 and no-one expected it. We all thought it would be a song that was no.1 the last week, but she went from 11-1 cos of a TV promotion. Well, today i think "Im Yours" will be No.1 with the success of Packed To the Rafters" and maybe they are tricking us thinking it'll be Pink or whatever, what do you think?
I don't think that will be the case (l!) because Colbie Calliat has physical sales to help, Jason Mraz does not. But it may happen next week for Kings of Leon as one of the Idol performers will sing that song tonight I heard.
P.S. Sorry for repeating what Jack said. Last edited:

No.1 DOWNLOAD SONG
3 up 1 from 4 - I'm Yours - Jason Mraz
* This song just continues to climb. After 3 weeks at No.4, it climbs to No.3 in it's 10th week inside the Top 10. It's also the No.1 downloaded song for the third week in a row.
* By spending a fourth week at No.1 with "So What", it now becomes her longest running No.1 single in this country. "Most Girls" spent 1 week at the top, "Get the Party Started" spent 2 weeks, and "Lady Marmalade" was at the top for three weeks.
* She created chart history in the UK this past week, as this single jumped from No.38 to No.1, the biggest climb to No.1 ever in the British charts.
* And by staying at No.1 again in Australia, she has helped equal the record for most week at No.1 by female performers in a calender year, 33 weeks, which was last achieved in 1973.
* 13 out of 15 people put this at No.1. James and Josh had it at No.2 in favor of Kings of Leon and Jason Mraz respectively.
