Ah, Brandon... gotta call you (or your info) out on a couple of things. Firstly, Kanye has not released a 3rd single to any format of radio in US let alone anywhere else in the world (despite a film clip being made for Welcome To Heartbreak, which I recommend highly). Secondly, The Ting Tings have released 3 singles already, with Fruit Machine being a 4th single including club tracks). So, We Walk would be the 5th single. Oh, and NERD have released two singles already in their 'comeback' (Everybody Nose, Spaz).
EW.com's Popwatch has reveleaed that Beyonce's next set of dual singles to be released will be "Ego" and "Broken-Hearted Girl".
Beyonce has also finished two new music videos to keep fans happy while she's crisscrossing the globe: "Broken-Hearted Girl," from the ballad-heavy I Am... half of her recent double album, and ...Sasha Fierce's up-tempo "Ego."
Beyonce co-directed the latter clip with her choreographer. "My goal for [the 'Ego' video] is simplicity," she says. "In 'Single Ladies,' I saw this old tape of Bob Fosse's wife, and I used that as inspiration. I thought in this world, with all the technology and everything that's going on, to strip everything down -- great idea. So I kind of did the same thing, but glossy and black, for 'Ego.'"
One thing that the video for "Ego" won't share with "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" is a certain animatronic appendage. "I didn't have the Sasha Fierce hand [in the video]," she laughs. "But I have it on the tour. It's actually even more wild -- I have to figure out how I'm going to perform with that hand!"
Considering Sex On Fire made the last So Fresh I would have expected Use Somebody to be on this one particularly as it's been in the top 30 for the past 20 weeks. Also surprised to see no Beyonce once again. Considering she used to be a regular and her singles are popular and been top 10 hits she has been left off the last 2 So Fresh compilations. In 2006 So Fresh used to put 22 songs on the CD. I wish they still would do that. The Now series always has 22 songs on it. Better value.
Description So Fresh - what needs to be said? The No.1 selling compilation brand in Australia and still the most successful compilation series ever steps it up another notch with the release of The Hits Of Autumn 2009. The Autumn collection continues with 20 of your favorite chart toppers from the likes of Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, The Fray, Lady GaGa, P!nk and many more. Also includes a bonus DVD with 12 of the hottest clips out!

Besides Kings Of Leon & Beyonce being absent, this So Fresh compilation is pretty decent. Wes Carr's You should of been on it rather than his new single or his song should have been on the Summer edition. Everything else looks good. One of the better So Freshes for a while.

track listing for the NOW. So Fresh's poorer cousin.
there was a period where now was rivalling So Fresh for quality but it has always been less quality. i mean i havent even heard of tracks 14, 15 & 18
Hello there. I have earned five nationally recognised certificates in music composition in Australia, as well as an additional two in the United States. As a professional musician, songwriter, music critic and university professor in music and popular culture, I work hard around the clock trying to analyse the individual opinions of others and how they think. In the same way an economist tries to predict how a market will react to economic changes in not only the closed but global economy, I'm one of the most sought after people in the country to predict how music consumers will react to various musicians. After years of intensive research and study, I have concluded that most people in Australia these days prefers music of mainstream three. That is, the pop/soft rock culture is currently the most popular and the hip hop/rap culture is not too far behind. In the year 2010, a lot of the music that people will be listening to will be slightly harder rock than the subgenre most popular today, but still in tune with the mainstream rock definition, in fact, by no means heavier than the general rock seen currently. I am usually very busy and am not a person with the time or care to be involved in musical discussion in forums, however I have kept an interested viewpoint on this website since yesterday, because it is constructive and it is quite unique to what I have seen on most websites on the internet recently. I told one of my students about this website and he too is very impressed. Now, I am sure, like many other music enthusiasts, you would most likely be curious about my unparalleled knowledge and accuracy in today's music tastes. If you would like to know more about whta I do, or if you would like any further information about anything to do with music or popular culture, you can contact me. Now, in my old age I am either very busy or tired and may not reply straight away. But you can contact my secretary who currently resides elsewhere, but will be able to redirect you to me within a matter of days, or hours if you are lucky. Leave a message at firstname.lastname@example.org and my secretary will redirect you to myself and maybe we can have a very empowering musical conversation indeed.
PETE Wentz came from Europe, Kings of Leon from the US and Dannii Minogue flew up from Melbourne. Celebrities travelled from near and far to walk the red carpet at Darling Harbour's Convention Centre last night for the Vodafone MTV Australia Awards despite the glum Sydney weather.
Hosted by Fall Out Boy bassist Wentz, the annual gongs were, as always, more about glitz and glamour than actual music, with only two Aussies taking home statues from nine categories.
While tabloid princess Britney Spears, I Kissed A Girl singer Katy Perry and punk rocker Pink (all not present) were the main winners, electro-pop sensations Sneaky Sound System were crowned best "Independent Spirit", while R'n'B breakthrough Jessica Mauboy picked up a title that had to go to one of our own - Best Aussie.
Mauboy took to the stage to belt out the title track of her debut album, Been Waiting, after The Killers opened the show via satellite from a sold out concert in New Zealand.
Four-piece family act Kings of Leon, rock band The Fray, Australian pop singer Sia and English indie group The Kaiser Chiefs also performed.
Considering last year's special guest was Mischa Barton, the most unusual part of the night was having Lara Bingle present an award.
On the ruby rug, stars such as Minogue - sans boyfriend Kris Smith - Delta Goodrem and fiancé Brian McFadden, Welsh beauty Duffy, actress Estella Warren, models Nikki Phillips and Tallulah Morton and stylist Pip Edwards showed up in their Friday finest and were interviewed by The Hills star Audrina Patridge.
While girl-about-town Ruby Rose co-hosted the preliminaries, the MTV VJ was not joined by good pals The Veronicas, who are swanning across Europe flogging their album Hook Me Up.
The tiny twins are soon to grace the pages of the UK's FHM, but Confidential hears there are no bikinis involved.
Most of the talent at the awards ceremony chose to kick on after the awards and head to the official after-party at the Hilton Hotel, where they partied until the wee hours.
Australian rockers Wolfmother surprised the crowd with the world debut of their new single, Background.
The complete list of winners:
Best Video: Pink, ’So What’
Best Moves: Britney Spears, 'Circus'
Best Collaboration: T.I Ft Rihanna, ’Live Your Life’
Best Dance Video: The Ian Carey Project, 'Get Shaky'
When I 1st discovered the MTV Awards they seemed interesting but after the 2007 Awards I lost interest, especially after the free to air viewing on Channel 10 in that year. Why you might ask, well when they viewed it free to air they had to cut it down from 3 hours to 2 hours. Do you know what they cut out, 3 performences by Aussies. Thats messed up big time.
Also most of the Awards won at the MTV Awards are by international Artists which is not fair and it is crap how the Awards are more about glitz and glamour than actual music. IMO Last years awards were the worst.
I actually was looking forward to last nights Australian M.T.V awards and to be honest was dscussed at it's lack of zast & production. Pete Wentz looked like a rabbit in headlights & was very uncomfortable to watch all night! The guy with the pommie accent was crude & couldn't help but to swear every other words! Whoever was the sound technition needs to be shot because some of it was horrible! What was with all the randoms getting up & accepting awards I've watched all the MTV awards broadcasts this year & this one was so bad it wasn't funny. It made the A.R.I.A's look like the Grammy's! On a good note though, The Killers were brilliant doing 'Spaceman'. The Fray were also solid & was glad they added the strings section to 'You Found Me'. Jessica Mauboy made a huge mistake i think by doing a stripped back version of 'Running Back' that led into her current single 'Been Waiting'.
