Even though the Top Ten was ridiculously stable this week, there was plenty of action outside the Top 10. Ask if you want?

Oh well at least GME is holding PRA from being a #1 on here!
BillyBrett, can I please get Adele, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga tracks? Thanks in advance.
Great jump for OneRepublic.
Also can I ask what has caused Nicole's drop this week? Thanks!
Nicole's drop was caused by her falling out of the NZ chart.

Need to know about songs that aren't listed. Then fire away, but before you ask there is no Amy Winehouse this week, she should appear in next week's chart.
Wow, Give Me Everything is huge! What is going on?
I really hope any of the 11 weekers can move up! Wow for Grenade's massive drop this week, which charts did it fall out of/what chart is it charting on this week. Yay for F U being the longest, that means overrated Dynamite is gone!

Love the debut for Demi Lovato. Can I please check chart positions for Adele and Katy Perry please BillyBrett. Thanks.
That top 5 seems exactly the same as a few months ago

I would like the Aussie/NZ songs again thanks

...hehe what's quite ironic is that top 5 IS almost exactly like it was a month ago
Last edited:
Grenade is only charting in the UK and Australia now. It dropped out of the Candian and USA chart this week due to the silly policy of 20 weeks and below Top 50 means it gets removed. GME has a massive 20 point lead over LFN, I honestly have no idea what will knock it off the top.

Go on, you know you want to know. Just ask...

Blah Give Me Everything. Yaya Rehab re-entry. Yay longevity for Adele but boo get off LMFAO!!!! At least Champagne Showers doesn't look like it will be getting top ten anytime soon!

Such a weird policy with the Billboard chart, it severely affects year end charts and the like because it's more biased towards songs that have a slow rise (i.e. a song could spend ages below the top 50 accumulating points before it hits the top 50! Major longevity issue!

Billybrett can I please get this weeks Katy Perry entries, Adele and Amy Winehouse. Thx.

Oh and btw, boo to Six60!

Ewww NIcki Minaj at #1. She must be really consistent everyone because it's not like she's top 3 in every chart.

When will we get a new top 10!!! All old and dated songs
She's top 8 in every chart but Ireland where she sits at #20. I was surprised to see her take the top spot to be honest. But I'm kinda glad she did as I was sick of Pitbull being there. And I agree anton, I would like to see a big shake up with the Top 10.
bye bye Firework. i was hoping it would get a few more weeks in the billboard chart but sadly no. i hope it can get at least one week as dinosaur. out of interest is firework 2nd oldest this week.

agreed with above points regarding the top ten. time for some new blood!
Yes alleyt, Firework is the 2nd oldest dinosaur of the chart. If it can hold onto its position on the UK and Aus chart this week, it should get the dinosaur honour next week by my preliminary calculations.

Ooh, cool to see how high a song can get from just Australia and New Zealand (I think), and go Cee Lo for 52 weeks! I always liked the statistic before, but what's the highest song that isn't in every contributing chart? And what's the largest jump to #1, as Maroon 5's is quite impressive?
You are correct about the countries contributing to Gotye/Kimbra's success Hijinx. As much as I want Cee Lo out of the chart, I do like it when a song manages to last a full year in the chart.

The following is a list of songs that have jumped to #1 from outside the Top 10. The number next to the song is the position it was the week before #1.

Born This WayLady GaGa33
Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)Enrique Iglesias featuring Ludacris And DJ Frank E18
Moves Like JaggerMaroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera16

GrenadeBruno Mars14
In My HeadJason DeRulo14

*made the jump in the first chart made after my month long trip to the USA, so it is likely that it probably didn't really have that big a jump to #1.

Just a quick notice that this chart will be going on hiatus for a little bit. Hopefully it will only be 2 weeks. Life at the moment is a little bit busy for me to sit down and compile the information. Once my life has returned to what is considered normal I will present all missed charts and business will continue as normal for the remainder of the year.
Well, in case you haven't worked it out. I have officially decided to retire this chart. After pausing on it while moving house I discovered that I had lost my joy of compiling this chart every week. I think the fact that I have my own personal chart really reflected how little I care about the current 'popular' music. And so something that was of major interest (where are my favourite songs in the world) turned into mild frustration as I saw terrible songs charting better than better songs. I guess I was just getting sick of David Guetta or Rihanna continually having hits with lacklustre efforts. I always think I was getting frustrated with the digital era causing a large number of 1 or 2 week wonders only to have them magically return 4 months later when they were serviced as true singles. So it with some regret but at this time a lot of relief to say good bye to this chart.

Thank you to everyone who checked it out over the past couple of years, and thank you to all those who took the time to comment on the chart. Maybe one day I might start it up again for curioisty but I don't think I'll ever be publishing it publically again.

I will continue to post my personal chart AND my reality chart cause they are still fun to compile.
