After much consideration, I have decided to post a thread for my chart. We are now in the 43rd week of the year, and on this current week, Gotye and Kimbra manage to hold a second week at the top spot with "Somebody That I Used To Know". Rihanna and Calvin Harris remain in the runner-up position after being held back by Gotye and Kimbra, with "We Found Love", while David Guetta and Usher's "Without You" edges up one place to 3. Rounding off the top 5 this week is Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera's unstoppable "Moves Like Jagger", which falls 3-4 in it's 18th week on the chart, and 14th week in the top 5, while at 5, Coldplay's "Paradise" jumps 8-5.

As usual suspects, Gym Class Heroes, Sak Noel, Delilah, and Calvin Harris round off the bottom half of the top ten, Drake and Nicki Minaj return to the top 10 with the second official single from Drake's much anticipated "Take Care" album. "Make Me Proud" debuts at this week's 9, while the first single "Headlines" gets a new peak of 11 this week. Many songs jump into new positions this week, including Kelly Clarkson's "Mr. Know It All" (16-12), Lana Del Rey's "Video Games" (17-13), and LMFAO's "Sexy And I Know It" (20-15). Adele hasn't been having a great week in her personal life, having to cancel all further 2011 appearances due to throat surgery, but she manages to continue having the longest running song on the chart, staying 37 weeks with "Someone Like You", but also becomes the weeks' biggest freefaller, falling 31-47, 16 places. Example and Laidback Luke manage to become the weeks biggest jump, moving 15 places 47-32.

Besides Drake and Nicki Minaj's "Make Me Proud", there are a further 7 new entries. Coldplay and Rihanna's "Princess of China" debuts at 22, while Labrinth and Tinie Tempah's "Earthquake" are the third debut inside this week's top 30, at 30. The fourth single from Britney Spears' album "Femme Fatale" makes its mark at this weeks 38 with "Criminal", while the third single from Ed Sheeran's debut album "+", "Lego House", debuts at 43. Further debuts come from Professor Green and Emeli Sande with "Read All About It" (45), Bombay Bicycle Club "Lights Out, Words Gone" (49), and T-Pain ft. Wiz Khalifa & Lily Allen "5 O'Clock" (50).

In the album chart, Coldplay pick up their fifth number one album with "Mylo Xyloto", which knocks last week's number one album, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds 1-2. Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" is the only other debut in this weeks top 10, debuting at this week's 3. Adele's "21" continues to stay in the top 5, falling 2-4. Gotye's "Making Mirrors" is a non-mover at this weeks 5. Ed Sheeran's "+" is up 7-6, with Steps' "The Ultimate Collection" dropping 3-7. David Guetta's "Nothing But The Beat" drops 4-8, while Lady Antebellum's previous number one album "Own The Night" falls 6-9, and Tony Bennett's "Duets II" is down 8-10.

Nice charts, great to see Gotye, Maroon 5, Coldplay, Delilah, Lana Del Rey, Foster the People, Ed Sheeran, Example & Adele in the mix.

Just a question, does TID stand for something not obvious or is it a typo?
Good to see We found love, Feel so close, Mr. know it all, Domino, It Girl, Pumped up kicks and You make me feel
TID stands for TheIncrediblePlumber, I have no idea why my username is that, but that's why it's that.
Why TID over TIP?
I love your whole top 5! (Except for Moves Like Jagger )

Awesome to see Kelly Clarkson, Video Games, Foster The People x2, Ed Sheeran (Yes!) X2, Titanium and Without You! An awesome chart with great variety
Y'know what 392414, I hadn't realized that at all, until you pointed it out lol. That's embarrassing!
"Somebody That I Used To Know" the most successful song by an Australian artist by "Black & Gold" by Sam Sparro back in the summer of 2008. The Aussies have managed to have some big hits on my charts, Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn" (4 weeks at #1 in 1997/8), Kylie Minogue having seven number one singles, Gabriella Cilmi's "Sweet About Me" (2 weeks at #1 in 2008), Vanessa Amorossi's "Absolutely Everybody" (6 weeks at #2), and even Jason Donovan managing to have a number one in the 80's. Gotye and NZ's Kimbra however manage to have a three week run at number one, coming up to Natalie's 4 week stint at the top in 1997/8. Rihanna continues a three week reign at #2, while Coldplay's "Paradise" notches up 2 places to 3. Meanwhile, David Guetta/Usher and Maroon 5/Christina Aguilera continue in the top 5, now "Moves Like Jagger"'s 15th week in the top 5. Three songs make their entrance into the top 10 this week - Lana Del Rey - Video Games (#7), Kelly Clarkson - Mr. Know It All (#9), LMFAO - Sexy And I Know It (#10), while Drake and Nicki Minaj's "Make Me Proud" climbs 9-6, and Gym Class Heroes fall 6-8.

A rather slow week for debuts, as four songs debut, but they all debut in the 41-50 region. Avicii's "Levels" is the highest debut this week at #41, and to be honest, this version is much better than Flo Rida's "Good Feeling" (which will still debut at some point no doubt). Nickelback's "When We Stand Together" enters at #43, Rizzle Kicks' "When I Was A Youngster" and urban trio Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa & Bruno Mars "Young Wild & Free" debut at #47 & #48. This week's highest climber comes from 2010 X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd & "Cooler Than Me" Mike Posner with their collab "With Ur Love" which has moved 24 places (44-20), thanks to her X Factor performance this week, which was atrocious, but she looked hot, and the song is extremely catchy, and a lot better than "Swagger Jagger". This week's biggest freefaller is Cobra Starship's "You Make Me Feel..." which falls 19 places (26-45) after 24 weeks on the chart and peaking at #3 in the summer. Finally, the weeks longest chart sitter continues to be Adele with "Someone Like You" after 38 weeks on the chart.

In the album chart, Coldplay's "Mylo Xyloto" sticks at number one, holding off tough competition from Florence + The Machine's second album "Ceremonials" which debuts at #2. Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" sticks at #3, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds falls 2-4, and She & Him make a debut at #5 with christmas album "A Very She & Him Christmas". Professor Green manages an entry at #6 with "At Your Inconvenience", while Adele's monster hit album "21" slides 4-7. David Guetta's "Nothing But The Beat" is a non-mover at 8, Ed Sheeran's "+" falls 6-9, and Rizzle Kicks round off the top 10 with "Stereo Typical".

ARTIST-FACTS:

Kelly Clarkson scores herself another top 10 this week with "MR. KNOW IT ALL". Kelly has had an impressive chart run, knocking out two number one singles ("SINCE U BEEN GONE", "BECAUSE OF YOU"), 4 number two's ("A MOMENT LIKE THIS", "BEHIND THESE HAZEL EYES", "NEVER AGAIN", "MY LIFE WOULD SUCK WITHOUT YOU"), aswell as a further six top 10's ("MISS INDEPENDENT", "BREAKAWAY", "WALK AWAY", "I DO NOT HOOK UP", "ALREADY GONE", "MR. KNOW IT ALL").

Now where have I seen that format before?

Anyway good to see Gotye at #1 and Coldplay and Nickelback in there.
The TID thing was what I was asking about before, I've fixed it now, but let me know if you'd like it back for whatever reason.

Awesome for Gotye still number one, and Lana & Florence rising strongly.
After three weeks, "Somebody That I Used To Know" is finally pipped to the post, this week by British heavyweights, Coldplay, with "Paradise". "Paradise" edges 3-1, and becomes the bands second number one single. "Clocks" being their first number one, and now after eight years, a new number one single joins them. Last week's number one by Gotye and Kimbra falls 1-3, while Rihanna and Calvin Harris' "We Found Love" stays put at 2. David Guetta and Usher's "Without You" also manages another week at 4, and Lana Del Rey's "Video Games" jumps 7-5. Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera's "Moves Like Jagger" continues a 16 week reign inside the top 10, this week just slightly falling 5-6, while LMFAO's "Sexy And I Know It" jumps 10-7 in their second week in the top 10. Sean Paul and Alexis Jordan's "Got 2 Luv U" and Cher Lloyd and Mike Posner's "With Ur Love" are the only two songs to rise significantly into the top 10 (G2LU - 12-8, WUL - 20-10). Finally, Kelly Clarkson's "Mr. Know It All" stays put at 9.

In the debut department, 6 new songs manage to join the chart. M83's infectious "Midnight City" is the highest debut at 39, with Lloyd's "Dedication To My Ex (Miss That)" at 42. Deadmau5 manages to debut at 43 with "Aural Psynapse", Pixie Lott debuts at 46 with "What Do You Take Me For?", Denmark born Aura Dione debuts at 47 with "Geronimo", and finally, Lady Gaga's "Marry The Night" makes its entrance to the top 50 at 49. T-Pain, Wiz Khalifa and Lily Allen also return to the chart with "5 O'Clock" at this weeks 48. The week's highest climber comes in the form of "Levels" by Avicii - which jumps 25 places (41-16), with still no signs of Flo Rida's "Good Feeling" entering the chart. "Levels" is definitely the better of the two samples. The week's biggest freefaller is "Princess Of China" by Coldplay and Rihanna (29-45). Finally, the weeks longest chart sitter has a new de-throwner. ADELE, unsurprisingly, surpasses herself, with "Set Fire To The Rain" now becoming the longest chart sitter with 29 weeks on the chart, while "Someone Like You" makes its exit this week.

In the album chart, Florence + The Machine gets their second number one album with "Ceremonials" as it climbs 2-1. Birdy's self titled debut album and Mac Miller's "Blue Slide Park" both make high entrants into the top 5, at 2 and 4 respectively. Last week's number one album, "Mylo Xyloto" by Coldplay falls 1-3, and "Stronger" by Kelly Clarkson drops 3-5. ADELE's "21" continues a successful run in the top 10 albums, this week moving 7-6, while Cher Lloyd makes a debut at 7 with "Sticks + Stones". Elsewhere, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds (8), Ed Sheeran's "+" (9), and David Guetta's "Nothing But The Beat" (10) round off the top 10.

Your top 5 is quite good. Awesome to see Coldplay at #1!

Excellent to see Video Games, Levels, Lego House and Helena Beat up! Great to see Ed Sheeran and Foste The People (two favourite artists at the moment) doing extremely well
Great number one, really liking it now. In fact, your top 5 is very cool despite my so-so feelings towards Without You. Nice jumps for Lana Del Rey and Foster The People.
A lengthy stay at #2 as paid off for Rihanna and Calvin Harris as they finally make their way to the top of the chart with "We Found Love", becoming Rihanna's eighth number one single and Calvin Harris' first. David Guetta and Usher continue to ascend upwards on the chart, this week climbing to #2 from #4. This week's hot shot debut comes in the form of Drake and Rihanna with the title track from Drake's second studio album, "Take Care". The song debuts at #3. Gotye and Kimbra's former number one "Somebody That I Used To Know" slips 3-4, while last week's number one "Paradise" by Coldplay drops 1-5. LMFAO's "Sexy And I Know It" is up 7-6, and "Video Games" by Lana Del Rey is down 5-7. At 8, Kelly Clarkson manages to climb one position 9-8 with "Mr. Know It All", Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera continue their impressive stay inside the top 10 (17 weeks) but this week drop 6-9, and finally Drake and Nicki Minaj re-enter the top 10 this week with "Make Me Proud" climbing 14-10.

Besides Drake and Rihanna's impressive top 3 debut, there are a further four debuts this week. Following on at Drake and Rihanna's coat tails are British boyband One Direction with "Gotta Be You". I wasn't much of a fan of "What Makes You Beautiful" and to be fair, they're really bad, but I can't help myself with this song. It's far too catchy! They debut at #23 this week with "Gotta Be You". Following the release of the new Twilight film, Bruno Mars' "It Will Rain" manages to debut at #43, and, as predicted, Flo Rida's "Good Feeling" finally makes an appearance, this week debuting at #48 (still not as good as Avicii's "Levels"), and finally, the third single from "Playing In The Shadows", "Midnight Run", is the final debut this week at #49. This week's highest climber is Lady Gaga with "Marry The Night" which climbs a huge 27 places 49-22. This is the fifth single lifted from "Born This Way" and I expect this will do bigger things than "You and I". This week's freefaller is "Helena Beat" by Foster the People, which falls 20-36. Adele continues to be the longest chart sitter with "Set Fire To The Rain" which clocks up 30 weeks on the chart this week, with Adele now having 3 songs from her album "21" to stay inside the top 50 for more than 30 weeks. I wonder if the next single, "Rumour Has It", has the same staying power.

No surprise in the album chart this week, as Drake debuts at the top spot with "Take Care", his second number one album. Last week's number one, "Ceremonials" by Florence + The Machine slips 1-2, while Snow Patrol make a debut at #3 with "Fallen Empires". Coldplay slip 3-4 with "Mylo Xyloto", and Birdy falls 2-5. Adele is a non mover at #6 with "21", Ed Sheeran's "+" climbs 9-7, and Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" falls 5-8. Mac Miller drops 5 from 4-9 with "Blue Slide Park", and finally, David Guetta's "Nothing But The Beat" is a non mover at 10.
