Hopefully with his new song out this week, Jax Jones can finally get a certification soon
I wish Universal would have updated certs for Zedd, Shawn Mendes, Julia Michaels, Pnau and Lorde as well...

Bad debut for Katy on albums

Ewww at that Liam Payne dirge going Top 3.

I was honestly surprised Katy took #2, thought London Grammar were a safer bet for top debut. Both good albums though, hopefully Lorde can take the top spot next week.
Bulion, could you please include Jessica Mauboy - Fallin' when you do the "next 20" update, if it charted and is not in the top 100. Thanks.
I've added this week's ARIA Top 100 Singles chart entries to my site.

Hear them all here - http://top100singles.blogspot.com/2016/12/every-aria-top-100-single-in-2017.html
Chartifacts updated.

Meglos, answer is in the Chartifacts

I have to go to my Pa's funerals on Monday in Wagga Wagga, so info will be updated by Wednesday (hopefully). This is also the reason for last week not doing a column. First time in almost ten years of not doing it too.
Thanks Bulion (and condolences).
My deepest condolences Bulion

Can't see Lorde miss the Top on albums next week. She'll probably be #1 on streaming too.

That Katy's album is good hijinx? Cos I've read nothing but average reviews for it to say the least.
I mean I liked it. I've noted elsewhere that I have as of late had more good will than most for unexplainable reasons but I'm here for a slickly produced pop album that isn't soaked in stream-chasing trends.
katy sold 5,794 in her 1st week
Just one copy more than London Grammar according to Herald Sun lol. If you had told me six months ago that London Grammar would have been close to outselling a brand new Katy Perry album, I would have called you a fool

Can anyone tell me how The Veronicas are at #40 when they were in the iTunes Top 20 all for the past week?
No streaming to back it up. At this point it's possible for tracks to make the top 40 digital tracks chart but not even the top 100.
The Veronicas - The Only High (4440 sold, 3771 DL #11, 669 ST #231)
