Ariana Grande logs a fourth week at the top of the ARIA Singles Chart with her song "7 Rings", plus she is also joined at No.2 by one of the many tracks from her fifth album "thank u, next".

The "7 Rings" track is again at the top in New Zealand, America and Canada (also 4th week), and the song is also joined by a new debut at No.2 entitled "Break Up With Your Boyfriend, I'm Bored", which took out the top spot in both England and Ireland this week, while her albums title track "thank u, next" rises back up four spots to land a thirteenth week inside the Top 10, giving Ariana the Top 2 singles and three songs within the Top 10, with Ariana now the first female artist since late June of 2012 to do this in Australia, back then Karise Eden had the top 3 singles, with "Stay With Me Baby" at No.1, "Hallelujah" at No.2 and "I Was Your Girl" at No.3, plus there was a fourth Top 10 single at No.5 with "You Won't Let Me".

These are some of the other multiple Top 10 entries since then to now...
* Drake in mid-July of 2018 had four Top 10 singles.
* Ed Sheeran had the top 2 songs on the first week of 2018 with 'Perfect" at No.2 and his Eminem duet "River" debuted at No.2, prior to that he did tied-up the top two in early January of 2017 with "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill" holding the two spots for six weeks before Ed scored the Top 3 with the added song "How Would You Feel (Paean)" in early March.
* In September of 2017 Taylor Swift had the #1 and #3 songs with "Look What You Made Me Do" at the top and debuting at No.3 was "....Ready for it?", the next week they were back to back at No.2 and No.3 respectively.
* And Taylor Swift also had the #2 and #3 spots in November of 2014 with "Blank Space" and "Shake it Off".

On the list of 'Accumulated Weeks at No.1: Singles: 2010's' Ariana now moves from equal 14th to now equal twelfth alongside Post Malone who has also racked up eleven weeks from three No.1's this decade. And on the overall listings (1940 to 2019) she moves from 84th to now equal 75th alongside Diana Ross (also eleven weeks at No.1 from three chart topping singles).

Ariana's dual occupancy at the top of the charts pushes down last weeks Top 4 songs by one spot, with the Post Malone and Swae Lee track "Sunflower" down to No.3, last weeks highest entry for Billie Eilish and "Bury a Friend" is down a spot to No.4 and the second Post Malone Top 5 entry again is "Wow", dropping one to No.5.

This past week The Grammy Awards were held, which helps current chart entry and three-time-winning track "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper to climb back up four spots to No.6, giving Gaga her sixteenth week within the Top 10, tying her previous record for the sixteen weeks racked up by her second chart entry "Poker Face" (November 2008 to late February 2009).

The final three Top 10 placings are all down three places apiece, "Sweet But Psycho" for Ava Max (5 to 8), "Without Me" by Halsey (6 to 9) and after peaking at No.7 last week its back to it's former position of No.10 (it spent two weeks at #10 prior to its climb last week) for the Sam Smith and Normani song "Dancing With a Stranger".

UP:
* There are only TWO new peaks within the entire Top 100 this week thanks to the influx of album tracks from Ariana Grande, with her new sets previously charted entry flying back up the charts too in "Imagine" (HP-15), zooming up from last weeks No.94 to No.25 this week (a sixty-nine place leap).
* The Grammy wins for Lady Gaga also affect her other chart entries in "Always Remember Us This Way" up nine spots to No.53 and re-entering at No.84 is her other Bradley Cooper duet "I'll Never Love Again".
* The first of the two new peaks is "A Lot" by 21 Savage with J. Cole, which is up four places to a new chart height of No.57.
* Three weeks ago the Dan + Shay track "Tequila" entered the ARIA Singles Chart, and this past week it won the Grammy Award for 'Best Country Duo/Group Performance', and the song is up four spots to a new peak here of No,79.

DOWN:
* The two songs leaving the Top 10 this week are "Sicko Mode" by Travis Scott and Drake (HP-6, WI10-9a), down four to No.12 and the Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus song "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" (HP-6, WI10-7), dropping five to No.14.
* Benny Blanco's "Eastside" drops down seven spots to No.19.
* After peaking at No.17 last week the Hilltop Hoods song "Leave Me Lonely" is back down three spots to No.20 and newly certified ▲Platinum in sales, while the band will be supporting Eminem on his upcoming tour and they release their new album by the end of the month.
* George Ezra scores a new singles chart entry this week, and his older entry "Shotgun" falls down seven spots to No.23.

* Loud Luxury drop down eight to No.29 with their former No,7 single "Body".
* Dominic Fike climbed to No.26 last week with his first entry "3 Nights", which dips down this week four spots to No.30 and is now certified Gold (●) in sales.

* The three week old J. Cole track "Middle Child" plummets sixteen spots this week to No.35.
* The JJJ100 winner for 2019 in "Confidence" for Ocean Alley drops nineteen spots this week to No.37, but with the count down compilations released digitally this week and physically next week it might not drop as hard after this week.

----------------------==\/==----------------------
The fifth studio album for Ariana Grande called "thank u, next" enters at the top of the charts here in Australia, plus also in England and New Zealand.

"thank u, next" is the 842nd No.1 Album in Australia (1965 to 2019) and the 693rd for ARIA (1983 to 2019), plus the 482nd album to debut at No.1 (since the first in 1976) and the ninth No.1 for the record label Republic while also the fourth consecutive No.1 album for Ariana Grande, all of which have logged one week at the top (so far) starting with her second set "My Everything" (1-Sept, 2014, TW-65), "Dangerous Woman" (30-May, 2016,TW-57) and only six months ago was "Sweetener" (27-Aug, 2018, TW-14, 26th week within the Top 100). All twelve tracks from the new Ariana album have landed within the Top 50 this week too, surpassing her previous albums record of all 15 tracks within the Top 100.

On the list for 'Accumulated Weeks at No.1: Albums (1965 to 2019)' Ariana moves from equal 160th to now equal 134th alongside other acts who've spent four weeks at No.1 from four chart-topping albums like Bring Me the Horizon, Lana Del Rey and The Amity Affliction, all of whom Ariana is also tied with on the same listing for this decade (all equal at #11 on that listing). This is also the first time that the words 'thank' and 'next' have appeared in a No.1 album title.

This new No.1 album becomes the 296th for an American performer (solo, duo or group) and the first new U.S performed set for 2019 (21 Pilots were the last in mid-October {or you can count Lady Gaga from late October also}), plus this is also the 127th by a Female performer (local or overseas), with Ariana's last No.1 from the 27th of August, 2018 being the last SOLO female artist from America at the top (although Lady Gaga was at the top, but her album/soundtrack was attributed to both her and Bradley Cooper).

Ariana Grande's fourth No.1 album also makes her the equal third on the listing for 'American Female Singers with the most No.1 Albums', sitting at the top is Madonna with 11 No.1 Albums, followed by Pink with 5 (who has the most accumulated weeks at 40 in total), and then a tie now for four apiece between Taylor Swift, Lana Dey Rey and now Ariana Grande, while they are followed with 3 #1's by Barbra Streisand, Mariah Carey and Lady Gaga.

While the album from the film 'A Star is Born' was not nominated for any Grammy Awards, the three wins that the albums lead single "Shallow" received means that the album is only down one place to No.2 this week (it returns for a ninth week at No.1 in Canada), plus the film picked up a BAFTA this week for 'Best Original Music', while the No.3 album is also a soundtrack in the Queen biopic 'Bohemian Rhapsody' which is down one spot this week, and that film won two BAFTA's in 'Sound' and 'Lead Actor' for Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury, while Queen also have two compilations entrenched within the Top 10 in their "Greatest Hits" down two places to No.5 and "The Platinum Collection" (5 to 7).

The second and final Top 10 debut this week comes in at No.4 and is the fourth studio album for the Sydney reggae infusion act Sticky Fingers entitled "Yours to Keep", which becomes the bands fourth albums chart entry and now their third Top 5 album too, as their last entry "Westway (The Glitter & The Slums)" debuted and peaked at No.1 in early October of 2016, and they also hit No.3 with their second set "Land of Pleasure" (August 2014), with their debut set "Caress Your Soul" hitting No.39 in March of 2013, that album most recently returned to the chart and re-peaked at No.48 last October (TW-68).

The soundtrack for 'The Greatest Showman' drops down two places to No.6 this week, while also down two spots after peaking at No.6 last week to No.8 this week is the Billie Eilish set "Don't Smile at Me". Holding stable are "Beerbongs & Bentleys" for Post Malone and Ed Sheeran's "÷ (Divide)" at No.9 and No.10 respectively.

Still mad about Bene but Owl Eyes is #1 on the Club Chart *.*
Chartifacts and entries updated.
Something I forgot to put into my chartifacts this week was:

130th time that an act has occupied the top of both charts, the last time was "A Star is Born" and "Shallow" for three weeks last Oct/Nov, while the last solo female artist to do this (not in a duet like "Shallow" is) was Adele back in late November of 2015 with "Hello" and "25" for two weeks.
is that individual weeks or different instances bulion? What I mean is that if Ariana does it again next week would that be the 131st time or just a continuation of the 130th.
different instances, or 130 occasions where the single and album have matched by artist (or soundtrack).
It was probably re-certified last week but Rudimental's These Days has re-entered the Dance Top 20 Singles Chart with a 4x Platinum accreditation. It was previously 2x Platinum.
Warner announced the 4xPlatinum cert for "These Days' in November, but it obviously hasn't been released until now.
GUCCI MANE, BRUNO MARS & KODAK BLACK - Wake Up In The Sky

This song is also <G> on the Urban Chart this week.
