The "Old Town Road" track for rapper Lil' Nas X and country singer Billy Ray Cyrus (on some versions) holds for a second week at the top of the ARIA Singles Chart in Australia.

Not since the Drake song "God's Plan" (charts dated 5th of March, 2018) has a song sat at the top of the seven main charts that I follow, Australia, New Zealand, England, Ireland, Germany, America and Canada, as "Old Town Road (I Got Horses in the Back)" is holding for a third week in N.Z., U.S.A. and Ireland, a second week here and also in Canada and England and for the first time at the top in Germany. The song is the No.1 streamed track again this week, and it's two versions are at No.2 (Billy Ray infused) and at No.7 (Lil' Nas X only) over on the digital sales chart.

The No.1 digital and No.2 streamed track, plus the national second-place-getter this week again is "Bad Guy" for Billie Eilish after it spent two weeks at No.1 upon debut, plus this is her only Top 10 entry this week too. Rising two places to a new peak of No.3 is Dominic Fike with "3 Nights", which in turn pushes down the rest of last weeks Top 5 in "Sucker" for Jonas Brothers (3 to 4) and "Talk" for Khalid (4 to 5).

Post Malone kicked off his national tour on Friday (26th of April), and he will be touring here until the 9th of May before heading to New Zealand for two shows, and this week his No.1 song from the start of the year in "Sunflower" is back up one spot to No.6, swapping places with his other Top 10 entry in "Wow" which is down one spot to No.7. "Sunflower" is now the 'Longest Charted Top 10' entry in Australian Chart History at 26 weeks within the Top 10 (which is also half-a-year), beating the former leader "Perfect" for Ed Sheeran (TW-59, 25 weeks over two chart runs), the track initially charting as a lead-single from the mid-Dec. 2018 due 'Spider-Man" Into the Spider-Verse', then when the film came out it shot the song to No.1 for three weeks, and again was helped to remain within the Top 10 thanks to the films Oscar Wins, DVD and Blu-Ray release (all in March), and now his national tour will maintain within the Top 10 for a few more weeks, could the song crack 30 weeks?

Last week Avicii along with his former collaborator Aloe Blacc debuted at No.11 with his first posthumous single (he passed 53 weeks ago, April 20th, 2018) called "SOS", which this week rises three places to a new peak of No.8, plus it also becomes his seventh Top 10 single in Australia, and first since "The Nights" made it to No.9 in its third week in early February of 2015, and this is now the third Top 10 single here for Aloe too. Holding at its peak of No.9 for a second week is the Marshmello and Chvrches track "Here With Me", after which the recent UK and Irish No.1 song for Lewis Capaldi in "Someone You Loved" is up three spots to a new peak of No.10, which as its his first chart entry is also now his first Top 10 hit here.

UP:
* Ava Max is on track to score her second Top 10 single next week with "So Am I" if it continues to climb the way its has for the past couple of weeks, as this week it jumps up eight places to a new peak of No.14, while her first entry "Sweet But Psycho" holds at No.26 for a third week.
* The Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper Oscar winning track "Shallow" is back up four spots to No.15, while Gaga's other entry "Always Remember Us This Way" is back up three spots to No.95.
* Neneh Cherry's daughter Mabel is up one spot this week to a new peak of No.17 with "Don't Call Me Up", which she sang on the April 26th screened Graham Norton Show on Friday, so expect a rise for the song next week.
* Pink just issued her new album "Hurts 2B Human" on Friday, and expect a big jump next week for the albums lead single "Walk Me Home", which this week is back up three spots to No.20.
* Hilltop Hoods continue to drive up the charts with their latest song "Exit Sign", which this week diverts up five places to a new chart height of No.22.
* Jumping up six spots to a new peak of No.23 is New Zealand outfit Drax Project who've teamed with Hailee Steinfeld for "Woke Up Late".
* Birds of Tokyo performed at the annual ANZAC Football match on Thursday, plus appeared on The Project, all promoting their new song "Good Lord", which this week flies up eleven spots to a new peak of No.25.
* Dean Lewis has three songs within the Top 40 this week (all between 30 and 40), as he is stable at No.30 with "7 Minutes", up two spots to No.36 with "Be Alright" and back up six places to No.40 with "Stay Awake", while he will be playing on the 'World Famous Rooftop' on Monday the 29th of April, so expect some or all of these to rise next week.
* Older Billie Eilish songs all get new certifications this week, starting with the 53 week old "Lovely" with Khalid, which is up five to No.37 and now 3x▲Platinum, "You Should See Me in a Crown" (48 to 47 and now ▲Platinum) and "Bellyache" (86 to 84 and now 2x▲Platinum).
* Amy Shark swims up eight places to a new peak of No.44 with her now third Top 50 entry "Mess Her Up".

* Tones and I land a fourth successive new peak on the charts with "Johnny Run Away", this week it's up four spots to No.55.
* Bazzi's third entry "Paradise" sees its second week within the Top 100 gain a twelve places rise to a new peak of No.56.
* Ed Sheeran's two long-running Top 100 entries are both back up this week, with "Perfect" up four to No.59 and the 'Longest Charted Single' in "Shape of You" up three to No.74 in its 120th week on the charts.
* The Veronicas entry from last week "Think of Me" rises thirteen places to a new peak of No.70.
* There are two further re-entries this week in the Tom Walker track "Just You and I" at a new peak of No.88, the song having fallen out last week, then his performance last week of the song on Graham Norton has helped it back into the charts, while the 1983 No.5 song for Toto and "Africa" again returns at No.91.

DOWN:
* There are two songs leaving the Top 10 this week, starting with "Bury a Friend" for Billie Eilish (HP-3x2, WI10-8) down three to No.11 and last weeks highest new entry for BTS and Halsey with "Boy With Love" (HP-10, WI10-1) only falling six places this week to No.16.
* Billie Eilish tracks from her debut album are down a little this week in "When the Party's Over" (17 to 18), "Wish You Were Gay" (14 to 21), "All the Good Girls Go to Hell" (37 to 38), "My Strange Addiction" (47 to 50), "Xanny" (54 to 64), "I Love You" (70 to 80), "Ilomilo" (71 to 85) and leaving is "Listen Before I Go" (#87).
* Ariana Grande's "7 Rings" is down four places to No.19, while she also tumbles twenty-seven spots to No.66 with "Monopoly".
* Khalid drops down seven spots to No.27 with "Better" and also falls with "Outta My Head" (21 to 29), "My Bad" (28 to 39) and "Saturday Nights" (49 to 58).
* Blackpink falls down nine spots to No.43 with their three week old entry "Kill This Love".
* Meek Mill with Drake on "Going Bad" drop down eight places to No.68.
* "Cool" for Jonas Brothers continues its chart descent, this week it's down seven places to No.71.
* Mustard and Migos slide down seven places to No.76 with "Pure Water".
* Ellie Goulding enters with her new track "Sixteen" this week, while her older song "Close to Me" falls down seven spots to No.87.
* The Cardi B and Bruno Mars collaboration "Please Me" tumbles fourteen places, down to No.89.
* Benny Blanco's "I Can't Get Enough" track falls sixteen spots to No.94.
* The Rita Ora song "Let You Love Me" drops thirteen chart rungs to No.98.

NEW ENTRIES:
* #46 - Earth by Lil' Dicky was issued this past week to tie in with 'Earth Day' (April 22nd), and is the second entry for the US rapper and comedian born David Andrew Burd, with all proceeds from this new track going towards the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, the song also features thirty guest vocalists too such as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Halsey, Zac Brown, Hailee Steinfeld, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Adam Levine, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, Sia, Miley Cyrus, Lil' Jon, Rita Ora, Miguel, Katy Perry, Lil' Yachty, Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor, John Legend, Psy, Backstreet Boys and Leonardo DiCaprio also. This now also becomes the second Top 50 hit for him, as he hit No.4 in April of 2018 with his duet with Chris Brown called "Freaky Friday".

* #54 - Power is Power (from 'Game of Thrones') by SZA, The Weeknd & Travis Scott is taken from the just issued album 'For the Throne' a companion soundtrack for the eighth and final season of 'Game of Thrones' which started worldwide two weeks ago. This is fifth entry for SZA (2 as guest, 3 as lead vocalist), the 23rd for The Weeknd (18 as lead, 5 as guest) and the 13th for Travis Scott (5 as lead, 8 as guest). The album also has new tracks by Maren Morris, The Lumineers, Ellie Goulding, James Arthur, Mumford & Sons and A$AP Rocky.

* #77 - Sixteen by Ellie Goulding is the follow-up to her recent No.25 single "Close to Me" (TW-87) and is the second new song issued from her forthcoming fourth studio album (no date or title known as yet), and overall this becomes her 18th entry in Australia (14 as lead, 4 as guest vocalist).

* #79 - Carry on (from 'Pokemon Detective Pikachu') by Kygo and Rita Ora is taken from the new Ryan Reynolds voiced live-action/animated film 'Pokemon Detective Pikachu', and it becomes the 14th entry here for Kygo and also the 17th for Rita Ora (13 as lead vocalist, 4 as guest vocalist).

* #90 - Goddamn by Tyga is the sixth entry here for the U.S. rapper born Michael Ray Stevenson and is the seventh issued single of his NOT to appear on a new album, as he is due to drop his seventh set sometime soon, but no date or title has yet been given. His last entry here was the No.97 track "Girls Have Fun" with G-Eazy and Rich the Kid back on February 11th of this year.

------------------==\/==---------------------
Regaining her crown at the top of the ARIA Albums Chart is the debut studio album for Billie Eilish called "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?", for a third overall week at the top here, plus the set scores a Gold (●) sales certification too.

"When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go"? also regains a third week at No.1 in both New Zealand and England as well, and it becomes the third album this year to regain the top-spot in Australia after the Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper soundtrack for 'A Star is Born' (initial run was 29-Oct-18 to 31-Dec-18 and it returned for one more week on 11-Feb) and Ariana Grande with "thank u, next" (initial run 18 to 25-Feb, and it returned for three more weeks from 11th of March). And by scoring a third week at No.1 here the set "When We All Fall Asleep..." is now the third longest running No.1 album for 2019 (so far) behind the four weeks for 'Bohemian Rhapsody' soundtrack (from 7-Jan) and the aforementioned "thank u, next" for Ariana Grande which accumulated five weeks at No.1 from the 18th of February.

Climbing back up one place to its former entry and peak position is the second Khalid studio album "Free Spirit", while last weeks No.1 entry for BTS and their EP "Map of the Soul: Persona" falls down two places to No.3, with the set taking out the top spot in both Canada and the U.S.A., while swapping places are Queen with their "Greatest Hits" (5 to 4) and The Seekers debut from last week "Farwell" which is down one place to No.5.

Queen have two places between each of their Top 10 entries this week, with their biopic soundtrack stable at No.6 for 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and the bands' "Platinum Collection" is back up one spot to No.8. Also holding place within the Top 10 are Dean Lewis with "A Place We Knew" at No.7 and "A Star is Born" soundtrack for Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper at No.10. As there are no entries or dropouts from the Top 10 this week, the final entry is Ariana Grande's "thank u, next", which moves down one spot to No.9.

UP:
* The soundtrack for 'The Greatest Showman' moves back up one spot to No.11, with other rising film sets being for 'Guardians Vol.1' (22 to 20), 'Molly' (63 to 48), 'Forrest Gump' (returns at No.89) and 'Suicide Squad' (returns at No.92).
* The ONLY new certifications on both the singles and albums' charts this week are for Billie Eilish, as she sees her debut EP "Don't Smile at Me" newly certified ▲Platinum in sales, and it rises one spot to No.12.
* Rising best of sets this week are by Eminem (24 to 23), Cold Chisel (32 to 24), INXS (34 to 25), Pink (due to a new album coming out on Friday, 37 to 29), Elton John (Rocket Man 41 to 33 and Diamonds 42 to 37, Vinyl issued last week, One Night Only 67 to 51), Crowded House (56 to 43), Queen (GH2 48 to 45), ABBA (Gold 69 to 63, Gold & More 83 to 76), Red Hot Chili Peppers (79 to 69), Fleetwood Mac (GH 77 to 75, Very Best of 89 to 83, The Chain-25 Years returns at No.97), Foo Fighters (82 to 78), The Killers (85 to 81), Creedence Clearwater Revival (returns at No.86), Billy Joel (94 to 88) and Paul Kelly (returns at #100, he just issued a new Live album on Friday too).
* Tom Walker appeared on last Friday's (19th of April) Graham Norton Show singing his new song "Just You and I", which returns at a new peak of No.88 this week, while his parent album "What a Time to Be Alive" (HP-18) also re-enters this week at No.34.
* Adele split up with her husband recently (or it was announced this past week at least), and her albums rise in "25" (58 to 47) and "21", which returns at No.93.
* Matt Corby's current national tour again pushes his latest album "Rainbow Valley" up the charts, rising this week eight places to No.53.
* Hozier returns again with his second album "Wasteland, Baby!" at No.55, with further re-entries by Coldplay with "Live in Buenos Aires" (#91) and Ocean Alley with "Chiaroscuro (#95).
* Vance Joy rises back up ten places to No.56 with his second album "Nation of Two", while his first set which returned last week in "Dream Your Life Away", is up eight places to No.66.
* Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" album rebounds fifteen places to No.60 this week, while the slightly older (by four years) Elton John set "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" also jumps up fifteen spots, to land at No.85.
* The new Pink album "Hurts 2B Human" issued on Friday has pulled up her previous set "Beautiful Trauma" back up the charts fourteen places to No.77.
* After falling the past few weeks, this week the Rufus Du Sol set "Solace" is back up eleven places to No.79.

DOWN:
* There are NO Top 10 dropouts this week, but one of last weeks exiting sets was "The Great Expanse" for The Hilltop Hoods, which this week falls a further five spots to No.16, while the bands older entry "Drinking...Walking...Restrung" falls down eleven spots to No.70.
* Taylor Swift issued a surprise new single on Friday called "Me", which will most likely boost her older entry in "Reputation" back up the charts next week, for now that album is down three places this week to No.32.
* Post Malone's older album "Stoney" is down six places to No.36, but expect it to rebound next week thanks to his current two week national tour here.
* Two older Ariana Grande albums are down this week in "Sweetener" (28 to 40) and "My Everything" (80 to 99).
* Juice WRLD retains two entries again this week, with his newer set "Death Race for Love" falling six spots to No.42 and his first released (but second to chart here) "Goodbye & Good Riddance" down one spot to No.94.
* Maroon 5 sees their "Greatest Hits" set drop down four places to No.44, with other sliding best of sets being for The Wiggles (55 to 61) and Bon Jovi (71 to 84).
* Ziggy Alberts falls six places to No.50 with "Laps Around the Sun".
* Imagine Dragons' two entries drop down in the newer "Origins" (57 to 58) and their older "Evolve" (45 to 54).
* Three of last weeks Top 20 entries tumble into the lower fifty this week in the Anderson .Paak set "Ventura" (19 to 59), then Norah Jones with "Begin Again" (14 to 73) and The Chemical Brothers with "No Geography" (17 to 74), while another of last weeks entries to survive for a second week is the self-titled LSD set (49 to 67).
* The soundtrack/compilation for "The Greatest Showman: Reimagined" drops down ten places to No.64, with other falling soundtracks being for 'Guardians Vol.2' (65 to 71), 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse' (78 to 80) and 'The Dirt' for Motley Crue (70 to 87).
* The Brooks & Dunn album "Reboot" falls down this week forty-three places to plant its feet at No.96.
* Albums leaving the Top 100 from last weeks Top 50 are by Sara Storer (#21, highest dropout), Clowns (#31) and Russell Morris (#39).

NEW ENTRIES:
* #15 (GH#26) - Honk by The Rolling Stones is a two-disc or three-disc set of The Rolling Stones songs from 1971 onwards (in other words no Decca stuff from the '60's, only songs issued on their own record label), the two-disc set containing 36 songs, while the 3CD set features bonus live recordings. Of the 26 Greatest Hits sets the band has released, this is the fifteenth to chart here, with their last collection being issued in 2012 called "GRRR!" which hit No.7 for three straight week in December of 2012.

* #18 (Live#5) - Homecoming: The Live Album by Beyoncé is the fifth live album (or DVD/Blu-Ray) issued by Beyoncé and it comes in one place lower than her returning last studio album "Lemonade" (HP-1, TW-17) which was just re-issued digitally as either the clean or un-edited version (meaning the swearing is back on the album), with this new live album being recorded at April 2018's Coachella Valley Music Festival in California, and features 40 songs from her solo and Destiny's Child catalog (she did three songs with her two former D.C. members).

* #27 (LP#13) - Love is in the Air by The Ten Tenors becomes the tenth charted album (8 studio, 1 Live, 1 Best of) for the opera/vocal group who last charted with "Wish You Were Here" (HP-18, peaked mid-May 2017), with this new set containing their covers of songs like "A Thousand Years", "God Only Knows", "Perfect", "Shallow", "Love is in the Air", "All of Me" and "Unchained Melody" among its twelve tracks.

* #38 (LP#3) - Cuz I Luv You by Lizzo is the third album and now first chart entry for the female US rapper born Melissa Viviane Jefferson on this day in 1988 (April 27th), plus she also has a voice role in the upcoming animated film 'UglyDolls' and she is filming a new movie called 'Hustlers' alongside Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Keke Palmer, Julia Stiles and Lili Reinhart.

Definitely looking forward to next week's chart, where I reckon Taylor Swift & Brendon Urie will have the #1 single with "Me!", and P!nk should easily get a #1 album with "Hurts 2B Human"

As much as I love Sunflower I really hope the tour doesn't help it stay in the top 10 any longer.

Also, really glad to see Dominic Fike in the top 3

I’m very happy to see Lewis Capaldi reach the top ten! Despite not being a band, I hope he keeps going on!
I'm curious if Sunflower has locked the EOY #1, I feel it must be around 200,000 so far which isn't much but unless Lil Nas X hangs around for a really long time, we're running out of time for something to catch up to it.

Impressive if it does it though, it started its top 10 run quite a while earlier in the year than Happy & Uptown Funk.
I mean Youngblood wasn't a hit until May last year so I'd still say there's definitely a possibility for another song to catch up.

Does anyone know roughly how much Sunflower would've sold in its weeks at number one?
26 weeks in The Top 10 for Sunflower. Perfect !

Hope that P!nk can sneak into the Top 10 with the album release
lol I was going to remark that Sunflower's early lead is reminiscent of God's Plan...except the only song that could overtake Drake had already entered the top 50 at this point
REALLY hope that P!nk doesn't get a top 10 single with "Walk Me Home" next week.
(Although, from a statistical and purely aesthetic point of view, I kinda do: She's had a top 10 single in Australia from every album she's released, including the Greatest Hits... So Far! compilation, so it would be quite disappointing if that trend stopped.)

Disappointed that "Sunflower" continues to remain in the top 10, it's getting quite annoying seeing it in there each week
Same with "Wow." too actually
lol, I'm happy for Sunflower to have the record just because Perfect having it seemed so artificial & lucky: It got an extra week before it was a single on album release, it had a drip feed of new versions to bolster its sales & streams forever, it coincided with his tour which pushed it right back up when it was about to leave, and of course one week it held on at #10 by 1 sale

And of course if I ever see Spider-Verse, I'll get some better enjoyment out of the fact that it really is a monster hit. I understand that it's like the main character's favourite song

Meanwhile I'm skeptical that Taylor Swift can get a #1 debut, unless her Spotify numbers really go up (they could admittedly), she'll have a tough time keeping up with Lil Nas X. He outpaced her by 180,000 on Spotify today, which just about offsets the sales difference on its own.
I mean, kudos to Ed and his label for using those tactics to keep it high up
Bazzi should've gone top 10 that week that Ed held him off by one sale

And I don't mind Sunflower, it's just utterly annoying seeing a song so meandering last so long for not much reason other than the fact that it's getting hundreds of thousands of listens each week

To be honest, after listening to the new Taylor Swift song more than 10-15 times, I truly hope that it doesn't go to #1 and instead just sort of peaks highly (cause that's bound to happen) and falls out fairly soon

Expect to see P!nk enter/re-enter with "Hustle", "Can We Pretend (with Cash Cash), and "Hurts 2B Human (with Khalid) next week I think.
~I reckon of those, Hurts 2B Human would be the highest charter.

Yay, Happy Birthday to me, another stupid song at NO.1 on my day/week of the year.

70 sales for the #5 song is absolutely woeful...

Happy Birthday Bulion! Pity a song you dislike is at #1 on your birthday!

EDIT: I meant album for the top statement, not song. Thanks Bulion.

thanks for that theo...

BTW, that's #5 LP not single, that is low in sales. The Seekers are more of a physical album selling act, mum and nana will buy it physically, not digitally.
Happy birthday Bulion !

I find it quite amusing that Taylor isn't a dead cert for #1 next week. Thought she would have had it in the bag almost just based on hype.
Ouch at Madonna being #468. Not surprising though. She's one of those artists where the fans buy the album week 1 and listen to it and then probably never again. She won't get a number 1 album come june.
Madonna at #468 makes 'Living For Love' look like a huge smash with its #157 peak.

at the Bananarama debut and amount of copies sold. Though I am surprised they even released the album here (this was news to me).
If figures get low like they were at the end of March, she could very well get a #1 album again.

Judging by current trends on iTunes, Apple Music and Spotify, it looks like Taylor will enter at #2.
Lowkey annoyed that we've had album tracks debuting for three of the past four weeks but I saw it coming about a month or two ago when I heard about all the releases coming out in the next few weeks (Billie on March 29th, Khalid on April 5th, and BTS on April 12th). The strong streaming numbers those acts all have is the only reason they debuted with album tracks in the week following the release of their album (or, in BTS's case, a glorified EP ).
The bananarama placing doesn't surprise me greatly. Honestly if it's just Keren and Sarah than it's not bananarama in my eyes.
The Apple Music charts have now extended from Top 200s to Top 500s:

Thanks I.E! Never would have known that otherwise!
