After one week away from the ARIA Singles Chart top-spot, the Lil' Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus track "Old Town Road" reclaims the top of the Australian Singles Chart, for an overall fifth week at the top here.

"Old Town Road" retained it's No.1 streaming spot and is sitting at No.2 (duet), No.11 (Lil' Nas X only) and No.22 (Remix) on the digital charts, while it held again at the top in New Zealand, America (7th week for both) and Canada (6th week). This is the second song for 2019 to reclaim the top spot, as at the start of March Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper regained the No.1 throne with "Shallow" after sixteen weeks away from the top, whereas "Old Town Road" was only gone for a single week from the top spot.

Last weeks No.1 debut for Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber with "I Don't Care" falls to No.2 this week (#1 digital and #2 streaming), while the song debuted at No.2 this past week in both America and Canada, plus it held for a second week at No.1 in Ireland and England. On Friday it was announced that this track was to be taken from a 12th of July new set from Ed called "No.6 Collaborations Project", which will contain ALL duets and collaborations with Ed, as well as his next song "Cross Me" with Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock, which was issued on Friday, the full set containing 15 tracks.

The first of five new certifications for Billie Eilish (4 tracks and her album) occurs for her former No.1 song "Bad Guy" which climbs from Gold to now 2x▲Platinum in sales, after which it's a third week at it's peak and entry position for the Shawn Mendes track "If I Can't Have You"; at No.3 and No.4 respectively, while Shawn continues his multi-four-peaks after "Stitches" (4 weeks at #4), "Treat You Better" (3 weeks at #4) and "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" (2 weeks at #4).

The debut studio album for Lewis Capaldi enters within the Top 10 this week and at the top in England (where is set a record for the fastest selling album for 2019, so far), and that helps his first entry here "Someone You Loved" to rise two places to a new peak of No.5, plus it also scores its first certification and is newly ▲Platinum in sales. Dominic Fike's "3 Nights" track dips down one spot to No.6. after which are more new certs for "SOS" by Avicii and Aloe Blacc (8 to a new peak of No.7, newly Gold (●)) and "Sucker" for Jonas Brothers (9 to 8, from Gold to now 2x▲Platinum). Post Malone's "Sunflower" is back up one spot to No.9 and logging its 30th week within the Top 10 (still the longest running Top 10 ever in Australia) and also back up one spot to No.10 for a twelfth week inside the ten is Khalid with "Talk".

UP:
* Rising back up a couple of places to No.12 is the Marshmello & Chvrches track "Here With Me".
* Lizzo sees her first entry here "Truth Hurts" rise again this week, up five places to a new peak of No.21.
* Drax Project with Hailee Steinfeld are up two spots to a new chart height of No.22 with "Woke Up Late".

* Two of last weeks new entries to rise to new chart heights this week are "Summer Days" for Martin Garrix with Macklemore & Patrick Stump (79 to 64) and "Falling Like the Stars" by James Arthur (94 to 67).

DOWN:
* The only song leaving the Top 10 this week is the Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie track "ME!" (HP-2, WI10-3), which drops down eight spots to No.14, but is newly certified Gold (●) in sales.
* With his tour here over, Post Malone drops this week with "Wow" (13 to 15), but more so with his older songs like "Better Now" (55 to 73, 56 weeks), "Rockstar" (69 to 82, 88 weeks), "I Fall Apart" (67 to 83, 86 weeks) and leaves with "Psycho" (#84, 64 weeks).
* Ava Max might not score a second Top 10 hit with her second entry as "So Am I" drops four to No.19, while her first entry "Sweet But Psycho" is down eight places to No.40.
* The further Billie Eilish certs and drops are for "Bury a Friend" (17 to 23, 2x▲Platinum), "When the Party's Over" (20 to 24), "Wish You Were Gay" (27 to 36, newly ▲Platinum), "Lovely" with Khalid (36 to 41, now 4x▲Platinum), "My Strange Addiction" (52 to 72), "Ocean Eyes" (66 to 76), "You Should See Me in a Crown" (62 to 80) and "Bellyache" (77 to 99).
* There's a six place slide to No.27 for the Lauv and Troye Sivan collaboration "I'm So Tired...".
* P!nk's "Walk Me Home" track drops down nine spots to No.28 and is newly ▲Platinum in sales.
* After peaking at No.29 last week the Amy Shark song "Mess Her Up" falls back four spots to No.33.
* Ariana Grande is down a little with "7 Rings" (30 to 35), but more so with "thank u, next" (68 to 78) and "Break Up With Your Boyfriend, I'm Bored" (56 to 81).
* Lil' Dicky's "Earth" track declines fourteen spots this week, down to No.42.
* The Chainsmokers and 5SOS track "Who Do You Love" slides down eleven places to No.46, while the 5 Seconds' "Youngblood" is only down four places to No.58.
* The Bazzi track "Paradise" drops ten places to No.47, after peaking last week at No.37.
* All three Dean Lewis tracks move down this week, only slightly for "Be Alright" (43 to 44) and "Stay Awake" (47 to 49), but a bigger tumble for "7 Minutes" (34 to 54).
* The Kygo & Rita Ora track from 'Pokemon" Detective Pikachu' peaked at No.45 last week, this week it drops down seven spots to No.52.
* A Boogie wit da Hoodie's second solo entry "Swervin" is down ten places to No.60.
* There's a second Khalid certification this week ("Lovely" at #41 was the first), as his John Mayer duet "Outta My Head" drops down eighteen places to No.66 and is now Gold (●) in sales, while he also slides down with "Saturday Nights" (75 to 90) and "My Bad" (70 to 96).
* Ed Sheeran's two 100+weeks entries move back down this week with "Perfect" (60 to 68, 116 weeks) and "Shape of You" (76 to 87, 124 weeks), which is again the 'Longest Charted Single' this week.

* Imagine Dragons' "Bad Liar" track drops down twelve places to No.84.
* Meek Mill and Drake's "Going Bad" sours sixteen chart rungs to land at No.89.
* The Veronicas host Rage this weekend, maybe that will help their current single "Think of Me" to rise next week, as this week the song drops down twenty places to No.94.

-------------------------==\/==--------------------------
Three years and eleven month since he first hit No.1 with "Start Again" (22nd of June, 2015) local singer Conrad Sewell sees his debut album "LIFE" enter at the top of the ARIA Albums Chart this week.

"LIFE" becomes the 848th No.1 Album in Australia (1965 to 2018), the 699th for ARIA (1983 to 2019), the 488th to debut at No.1 (1976 to 2019), the tenth No.1 album for 2019 (second by a solo Aussie male, Dean Lewis was the other at the start of April) and for the Sony Australian record label it's their 24th No.1 album and first since Anthony Callea's "ARIA No.1 Hits in Symphony" (18th-Sept, 2017).

This is now the tenth album to feature the word 'Life' in it's title, the last was the Pau Kelly set "Life is Fine" (1 week on 21st of August, 2017), but the first time that the word has appeared solo (with no other words that is). The new No.1 album also becomes the third by a local act for 2019 after the aforementioned Dean Lewis (1st of April) and also Hilltop Hoods (4th of March), and overall this is the 231st No.1 album by an Australian Act (solo, duo or group), while Conrad Sewell becomes the 115th Aussie Act to hit the top (solo, duo or group). This new No.1 becomes the 237th by a Solo Male Artist (local or overseas) and also Conrad becomes the 31st Solo Australian Male Performer to score a chart-topping album locally.

Billie Eilish is again stable at No.2 with her set "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?", which also holds onto the top spot in both New Zealand (5th week) and Canada (4th week), and is the only newly certified album for this week, scoring a ▲Platinum in sales after eight weeks of charting, while last weeks No.1 album by P!nk and "Hurts 2B Human" tumbles down three places to No.4 after three weeks at the top.

Debuting in-between those two at No.3 is the fifth studio album and now highest charted for Tyler, the Creator called "Igor", with nine of the albums twelve tracks debuting within the Top 100 singles chart this week, which gives him now ten overall singles chart entries, plus his first Top 20 and Top 50 berths, while he also has guests on the album such as Solange, Kanye West and Lil' Uzi Vert, with this now also becoming his second Top 10 album in Australia, as his last set "Flower Boy" (re-entry this #77) debuted and peaked at No.8 in late July of 2017, and overall this is now his fifth albums chart entry and fourth Top 50/20 berth too.

The third, fourth and fifth Top 10 entries this week occur at No.5, No.6 and No.7, starting with the self titled seventh studio album for German New Hard Rock act Rammstein which comes in at No.5 to become their sixth Top 100 and Top 50 entry, plus their third Top 10 entry and now also their highest charted, beating the No.9 peak of their last set "Liebe ist fur alle da", which was their last album issued back in October of 2009. This is followed by the eighth studio album for U.S. indie rock act The National with "I Am Easy to Find" at No.6, becoming their fourth albums chart entry and now third Top 10 placing, having seen their last two albums debut and peak at No.2 with "Sleep Well Beast" (Sept 2017) and "Trouble Will Find Me" (May 2013).

The No.7 entry is the eleventh studio album for DJ Khaled called "Father of Asahd" which enters at the same position his tenth set achieved in early July of 2017, "Grateful", with his previous entry being "Major Key", which debuted and peaked at No.6 in early August of 2016, with this albums first singles chart entry being "No Brainer" with Justin Bieber (HP-6, August 2018) with four more tracks from the album entering this week, plus the set has guest appearances from Cardi B., 21 Savage, Chris Brown, Lil' Wayne, Big Sean, SZA, Meek Mill, Jeremih, J. Balvin, Post Malone, Travis Scott, John Legend, CeeLo Green, Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Future and Chance the Rapper.

The Khalid album "Free Spirit" is down two places to No.8 in its seventh week within the Top 10, while Dean Lewis' "A Place We Knew" drops down four spots to land at No.9 in it's ninth week inside the ten. Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi took out the top spot in England this week with his debut album "Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent", which here comes in at No.10 to become the sixth and final Top 10 entry for this week, while the albums lead single "Someone You Loved" climbs to a new peak of No.5 this week.

UP:
* With the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest broadcast last weekend from Tel Aviv, Israel, the accompanying album this week leaps up thirty-four places to land at a new peak of No.13, with The Netherlands taking out the winning song for the first time since 1975. Last years set made it to No.14, 2017's hit No.15, while the 2016 set was the last to hit the Top 10, peaking at No.9, 2015's made it to No.4, with 2014's peaking at No.13 (the same as this years peak will most likely be), plus the first two to chart were 2013's (HP-16) and 2012's (HP-15), making this now the eighth year in a row for an entry of an album for the contest.
* Both entries for Hilltop Hoods move back up two places apiece this week, with their latest album "The Great Expanse" up to No.15 and their "Drinking...Walking...Restrung" is up to No.46.
* Expect a big jump in the next few weeks for Elton John's "Diamonds" compilation, which this week is stable at No.22, while the soundtrack for his biopic 'Rocketman' is 90% performed by its star Taron Egerton, those people hungry for the original Elton songs will be purchasing this now 3CD expanded album, plus Elton's 1974 classic "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" is up five spots to No.63.

* Post Malone's "Stoney" set drops down eight spots to No.28.
* The only one of last week's non-Top 10 entries to score a second week is the new U.S.A. No.1 album for Logic and "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" (12 to 34), while the highest dropout is the Mac DeMarco set "Here Comes the Cowboy" (#25) {BTW, there were only three NEW entries last week}.

* #3 (LP#5) - Igor by Tyler, the Creator

* #5 (LP#7) - untitled/self-titled by Rammstein

* #6 (LP#8) - I Am Easy to Find by The National

* #31 (LP#1.2) - The Captain (20th Ann.Ed.) by Kasey Chambers was the debut album from 1999 for the local country and bluegrass singer, the set peaking at No.11 in March of 2000 and eventually logging 114 weeks within the Top 100. This new edition was also issued on Orange Limited Edition vinyl, plus the CD has been expanded to a two disc set, featuring eight more songs including two tracks with Paul Kelly and her version of the Crowded House song "Better Be Home Soon".

* #33 (LP#4) - Dedicated by Carly Rae Jepsen is the fourth studio and now fourth entry here (3 studios and 1 EP) for the Canadian singer, whose last album "Emotion" debuted and peaked at No.37 in early July of 2015.

* #52 (LP#2) - Langata by Crooked Colours is the Perth trio's second album and now first chart entry, as their debut set "Vera" didn't make the Top 100 albums chart, thus for the Triple J Unearthed contestants (from 2014) this is now their highest charted album locally.

* #86 (LP#13) - Flesh & Blood by Whitesnake is the thirteenth studio album and first in four years for late 70's formed British rock band, but here it is their first chart entry for this century, having last charted here with their "Greatest Hits" set (HP-34, peaked late October, 1994) and overall this is their sixth albums chart entry (five studios and 1 Best of) since their self-titled set in 1977 (HP-98, late May 1977).

So close to the top 10!!! Glad to see him debut top 3 on the albums chart and get multiple top 50 songs though.

Also, Taylor Swift can't seem to get any hit with longevity lately
chartifacts and new entries updated for this week.

Very disappointing Eurovision figures beside the album, was there no placing for the audience favourite Spirit In The Sky or others?
NofZ; nope only two of this years Eurovision entries made within the Top 500.

Kate Miller-Heidke at #95 and then
Duncan Laurence, the winner, with Arcade at #294 (around 1188 in sales)

No others charted, and yeah I thought Norway might at least chart, but no!
Did FRENSHIP's new album "Vacation" chart anywhere in the <100 album stats?
nothing at all theo.
