It's an eighth week at No.1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for "Old Town Road (I Got Horses in the Back) for rapper Lil' Nas X and country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.

"Old Town Road" and it's eight non-consecutive weeks at No.1 here now becomes the longest running chart-topper for Billy Ray Cyrus, surpassing the seven weeks his first hit "Achy Breaky Heart" achieved in 1992, while the song is at the top of both our Digital Sales and Streaming charts, plus it maintains its lead at the summits in Germany (4th week), Canada (9th week), America and New Zealand (10th week in both locales), becoming N.Z.'s first 10 week running No.1 song since "Despacito" began a 13 weeks run at the top there almost two years ago (from 26th of May, 2017).

The song "Old Town Road" has now spent four weeks at the top on two separate occasions, plus it helps build Billy Ray's accumulated weeks at the top to now fifteen overall weeks, moving him from equal 62nd to now outright 57th on the list for 'Accumulated Weeks at No.1: Singles (1940 to 2019), almost alongside Lady Gaga (15 weeks from 4 #1's), George Michael (15 weeks from 5 #1's), Roy Orbison and Guy Sebastian (15 weeks from 6 #1's).

Eight of the Top 10 songs are all on hold this week, with the entire top seven songs not moving from last week, with the current five-week-running Irish and English No.1 song "I Don't Care" for Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber stable at No.2, followed by another former No.1 track "Bad Guy" for Billie Eilish at No.3. After which there are two tracks holding their peak positions in "Someone You Loved" for Lewis Capaldi and "Cross Me" for Ed Sheeran with Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock at No.4 and No.5 respectively.

Shawn Mendes logs his sixth week within the Top 100 and Top 10 by remaining in place at No.6 with "If I Can't Have You", after which last weeks highest new entry for Katy Perry and "Never Really Over" holds onto its No.7 debut spot. With the first new Jonas Brothers album issued in six years and first studio album in ten years debuting high on the albums chart this week, the new albums first single and the former No.1 song "Sucker" rebounds four places this week to jump back into the Top 10 at No.8, logging its fourteenth week within the Top 10. Avicii also has a new album debuting within the albums Top 10, thus his single "SOS" with Aloe Blacc is stable at No.9 this week, and falling two places to No.10 is the former No.3 single "3 Nights" for Dominic Fike, which just rose to No.2 in Ireland this week and here is spending its 14th week inside the ten.

* Lil' Dicky and his "Earth" track manage an eighth week within the Top 100 by dropping seventeen places this week to the end of the chart at #100.

NEW ENTRIES:
* #17 - No Guidance by Chris Brown feat. Drake is the fourth track issued and now second to chart from Chris' forthcoming ninth studio album called "Indigo" (due June 28th) and overall this is his 59th Top 100 (36 as lead, 23 as guest vocalist), 39th Top 50 entry and also his 15th Top 20 placing, plus this is his highest charting song since he appeared on the Lil' Dicky track "Freaky Friday" (HP-4, April 2018).

* #20 - Heaven by Avicii feat. Chris Martin (from Coldplay) is the second entry from the posthumous album "Tim" by Avicii which lands within the Top 10 this week and follows on from "SOS" which is sitting at No.9 this week. Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin supplies the vocals for the track and it becomes the 15th Top 50 and 11th Top 20 entry here for the passed Swedish DJ and producer.

* #50 - Haute by Tyga feat. J. Balvin & Chris Brown is now the eighth Top 100 entry here for the U.S. rapper, who also rises to No.41 on last weeks entry for YG called "Go Loko", this new track is taken from his new entry album for this week "Legendary", while this is the second entry this week for Chris Brown taking his tally of Top 100 entries to 60, and also 40 Top 50 entries too.

* #77 - Dream Glow by BTS feat. Charli XCX is the lead single from the Korean boy-bands upcoming movie and documentary "BTS World" (out June 26th), with this song originally written by Charli as "Glow" in 2016, but when she met BTS in 2017 they decided to write a song together, so Charli sent them her rough-cut of Glow and they together wrote this new song. Overall for the Korean band this is their eleventh Top 100 entry.

--------------------------==\/==------------------------
Billie Eilish returns to the No.1 Albums spot with her debut set "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" for an overall fifth week at top of the ARIA Albums Chart.

Billie's album also returns for a fifth week at the top in Canada and holds for an eighth straight week at the summit in New Zealand. This fourth run at the top has not been seen since "÷ (Divide)" for Ed Sheeran did it nine times during 2017 and 2018, and "When We All Fall Asleep..." is now the equal longest running No.1 album for 2019 alongside the five weeks running "thank u, next" for Ariana Grande (Feb & March), while next week she might lose her crown again as new albums were just issued for both Bruce Springsteen and Madonna.

Last weeks No.1 debut for Jimmy Barnes' "My Criminal Record" is only down one spot to No.2 this week, which is followed by the highest new entry for the week "Happiness Begins" for Jonas Brothers, the trio's first new studio album since 2009's "Lines, Vines & Trying Times" (HP-5, peaked late June 2009) which was their first Top 10 entry, thus the new album becomes their second Top 10 album in Australia and now their highest charted, while overall this is the boys' seventh albums chart entry (4 studios, one live and two soundtracks). The album also debuted at No.3 in Scotland and landed one place higher in England at No.2.

Elton John's "Diamonds" collection is back down one spot to No.4 this week, with the biopic soundtrack for "Rocketman" down two places to No.8 and the other Top 10 soundtrack in "Aladdin" is stable at No.7 this week. Pink's "Hurts 2B Human" was issued on double vinyl on Friday, and in its seventh week on the charts it is down one place to No.5, while Khalid's "Free Spirit" set is down one place to No.10.

The two other entries to the Top 10 this week sees the third studio and first posthumous album for Avicii called "Tim" (his real name) come in at No.6 containing the current Top 10 single "SOS" (TW-9) and new entry "Heaven" with Chris Martin (TW-20), while further guests on the album include Bonn, local Swedes Vargas & Lagola and Noonie Bao, plus A R I Z O N A and Imagine Dragons. This is now the fifth albums chart entry for Avicii (3 studios, one EP and one Remix set) all of which have landed within the Top 20, but for his studio albums this is his third Top 10 as his first set "True" eventually climbed to No.1 (it was issued in mid-Sept of 2013 and went to No.1 here for a week on 3-Feb-2014) and then his album "Stories" debuted and peaked at No.10 in October of 2015, plus this is now his fourth No.1 album in his home country of Sweden (3 studios and an EP).

Local singer/songwriter Meg Mac enters at No.9 with her seven track mini-album called "Hope", which is her second album and now also her second Top 10 set, as her first release "Low Blows" debuted and peaked at No.2 in late July of 2017, with four tracks previously issued from this new set in "Give Me My Name Back" (in 2018), "Something Tells Me", I'm Not Coming Back" and "Hope".

UP:
* Rebounding a massive ten places this week to No.11 is the soundtrack for 'A Star is Born', with the only other rising soundtracks being for 'Moana' (68 and 60) and the recently re-screened and second part trailered this past week 'Frozen' (returns at No.94).
* The newly issued EP for Luke Comes also helps his debut set "This One's For You" to rise back up five places to No.22.
* INXS' "The Very Best" jumps back up thirteen places to No.40, while best of sets also rise for Eminem (46 to 43), The Wiggles (71 to 63), Bon Jovi (80 to 66) and Missy Higgins (89 to 86).
* Shawn Mendes' fourth self-titled album is back up five spots to No.47, while his previous album in "illuminate" returns at No.90.
* Further returns occur for Ocean Alley with "Chiaroscuro" (#96) and this weeks No.3 selling vinyl album for Amy & The Sniffers (#98) which saw a wider release of the set last week through Inertia.

DOWN:
* The three albums leaving the Top 10 this week are "LIFE" for Conrad Sewell (HP-1x1, WI10-3) down nine spots to No.17, followed by "Ten" (HP-5, WI10-1) for Susan Boyle, dropping thirteen places to No.18 and another of last weeks Top 10 entries in the Miley Cyrus EP "She is Coming" (HP-10, WI10-1) which tumbles down twenty-eight places to No.38.
* There are seven former No.1 albums within the Top 20 this week, and other than the Conrad tumble the other local-lad dropping this week is Dean Lewis with "A Place We Know", down three to No.16.
* Tyler, the Creator and his "Igor" album drop down fourteen spots to No.25.
* Lee Kernaghan's "Backroad Nation" slides down nine places to No.26, but with his national tour starting next week on the 20th it might not drop as much in the next few weeks.
* Two of more of last weeks new entries to survive for a second week are the Skepta set "Ignorance is Bliss" (15 to 44) and there's a massive drop for "Zuu" by Denzel Curry (18 to 97).
* The Queen "Greatest Hits" set drops down five places to No.46, while they see a bigger tumble for their "Platinum Collection" (59 to 83), while further collections falls for Maroon 5 (50 to 56), Foo Fighters (90 to 91) and The Killers (75 to 99).
* "4Real 4Real" by YG drops thirteen spots to No.49.
* Both of Adele's entries are down this week in "25" (47 to 53) and "21" (78 to 92).
* The self-titled Rammstein set plummets thirty-three places to No.61.
* The Ten Tenors' "Love is in the Air" loses volume and deflates thirty-nine spots this week to No.68.
* The Fleetwood Mac classic "Rumours" drops down sixteen spots to No.70.
* Ed Sheeran's first album "+ (Positive)" is down ten places to No.71.
* Rob Thomas loses more lustre for his "Chip Tooth Smile", this week dropping thirty-one to No.74.
* Jess Glynne's "Always in Between" also falls down thirty-one places to No.75.
* The soundtrack for 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.1' falls seventeen spots to No.78.
* ScHoolboy Q and his "Crash Talk" set are down sixteen places to No.79.
* Imagine Dragons' "Origins" slides nine spots to No.82.
* The National almost halve their position from last week by falling forty-four places from No.45 to No.89 with "I Am Easy to Find".
* Morgan Evans is down ten places to No.95 with "Things That We Drink to".

Hopefully Madame X debuts at #1 in Australia next week so Madge can re-join Jimmy with the most #1 albums here.
I disagree, I'm hoping for Hayden James at #1
inb4 Springsteen is #1
Perhaps
Go Bruce!
Will be a battle between Madonna and Bruce. Madge will be above him digitally and on streaming but Bruce will outsell her on physically, which will give him the advantage overall.
Just wanted to say I don't dislike Bruce Springsteen's music (as my message above could be interpreted); quite the opposite, he's actually one of my favourite '80s artists.

Only used the emoticon in my message above because I had forgotten completely about Bruce releasing an album and thus hadn't considered that he could be #1 haha

Wonder how close to the top 100 Tyga's "Taste" got this weekend (it's on the new album)
It still hasn't left the Spotify top 100
Wow, Luke Combs in the top 50 singles, crazy!
The Veronicas' Think of Me is now Gold too on the Australian singles chart.

Thank God both Without Me and Sweet But Psycho drop pout this week. Hopefully So Am I will follow soon.
