Jawsh 685 and Jason DeRulo hold the No.1 spot atop the ARIA Singles chart for a third straight week with their mash-up tune "Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)", which is newly Gold (●) in sales.

The song remains the top seller again in New Zealand (4th week) Norway and England (both 3rd week) Sweden (2nd week) while it climbs to the top spot in Ireland, Austria and Switzerland, while remaining at No.2 in The Netherlands, Belgium, Finland and Germany. Jason DeRulo also adds another week to his No.1's tally, he rises to seven accumulated weeks at the top in Australia from his four No.1 songs, and "Savage Love" now becomes his longest running No.1 single here at three weeks, while he is now listed at equal 122nd on the tally for 'Accumulated Weeks at No.1: Singles (1940 to 2020)' alongside the 7 weeks from four No.1's by Johnny O'Keefe.

For a third week the top five singles are all on hold, with the current American (5th week) and new Canadian (1st week) No.1 song in "Rockstar" for DaBaby and Roddy Ricch at No.2, with the just toppled No.1 from Canada in "Roses" for SAINt JHN at No.3, followed by two tracks holding their peaks again in "Breaking Me" for Topic with A7S and "Watermelon Sugar" for Harry Styles at No.4 and No.5 respectively.

Fallen rapper Juice WRLD who passed away last December, sees his first posthumous album debut at No.3 this week, from which eight tracks debut and a ninth returns to within the Top 50, and two of them land first week within the Top 10. The highest of which comes in at No.6, "Come & Go" with Marshmello followed two places lower at No.8 with "Life's a Mess" featuring Halsey, which become his third and fourth Top 10 singles in Australia after "Lucid Dreams" (HP-8, July 2018) and on the Eminem track "Godzilla" (HP-3, Feb 2020).

The Weeknd is caught at No.7 in-between the two Juice WRLD debuts with "Blinding Lights", which is now spending its 30th week within the Top 10, making it now the outright third longest running Top 10 in Australia of all time, with it's next target being "Sunflower" by Post Malone at 31 weeks. Down two places to No.9 is the Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande track "Rain on Me" which is racking up its eighth week within the ten. Blasting up twenty five places to land at a new peak of No.10 is the latest single for Guy Sebastian called "Standing With You", which Guy performed on The Voice this past week. It becomes his fourteenth Top 10 entry in Australia and his first since "Choir" hit No.7 in July of 2019.

UP:
The first track to rise outside of the Top 10 is the StaySolidRocky track "Party Girl" (HP-19x3), which is back up two places to No.20. Last week's highest new entry for Pop Smoke and "The Woo" is up one spot this week to a new peak of No.24. The first issued single from the new Juice WRLD album was "Righteous" which debuted and peaked at No.15 back in early May and this week it returns to the entire Top 100 chart at No.25. Regard sits at a No.33 peak for a third non-consecutive week with his second entry "Secrets" while Amy Shark jumps up again this week with her new track "Everybody Rise", moving up eleven spots to a new peak of No.38, and it's the last rising track within the Top 50 this week.

DOWN:
There are three songs leaving the Top 10 this week starting with "What's Poppin'" for Jack Harlow (HP-8, WI10-2) down three to No.11, followed by a two place drop to No.12 for "Go Crazy" (HP-9, WI10-3) for Chris Brown and Young Thug and finally "Rover (Mu la la)" (HP-7, WI10-4) for S1MBA and DTG which dips four spots to land at No.13. With a slew of Juice WRLD tracks entering this week a heap of tracks drop down in "Stuck With U" (12 to No.16), "Supalonely" (11 to No.18), both Dua Lipa tracks in "Break My Heart" (13 to No.17) and "Don't Start Now" (16 to No.22), its first week outside of the Top 20 in its 37 week chart run.
Marshmello and Halsey's "Be Kind" falls six to No.23, JB's "Intentions" decrease eight to No.26, Powfu's "Death Bed" tumbles twelve to No.27, Megan Thee Stallion halves her position from last week with "Savage" down fourteen spots to No.28 and "Dance Monkey" swings down ten places to land at No.29, plus the track is newly certified 12x▲Platinum in sales. Sam Fisher drops eleven to No.32 with "This City" and after peaking at No.24 the Brando sampled "Look into My Eyes" falls ten places to No.34, followed by a twelve chart-rung drop for the Drake track "Toosie Slide". Albums Chartifacts:

The second studio album for Sydney group Lime Cordiale called "14 Steps to a Better You" debuts at No.1 on the ARIA Albums Chart this week, becoming their second chart entry, first Top 10 and No.1 Album too.

"14 Steps to a Better You" is the 886th No.1 Album in Australia (1965 to 2020), the 736th for ARIA (1983 to 2020), the 524th to debut at No.1 (1976 to 2020), the 24th album for 2020 and the first for both the band Lime Cordiale and their record label Chugg Music (through MGM).

Lime Cordiale are led by the brothers Oliver and Louis Leimbach and the group formed in 2009 around the Northern Beaches of Sydney, first coming to the attention of Icehouse frontman Iva Davies who gave them the support act on his bands 2011 comeback tour. The band issued three EP's from 2012 to 2015 and their first studio album "Permanent Vacation" which made it to No.79 in October of 2017. Of the eight singles previously issued from this 14 track album, the only chart entry has been their Triple J Hottest 100 #7 single for 2019 in "Robbery" which made it to No.63 upon debut back in February of this year.

This is the first time that the number "14" or even the word has topped the albums chart in Australia, although Janet Jackson did hit No.1 in 1990 with "Rhythm Nation 1814" (3 weeks) which contains a "14" within it title. It's been 53 weeks since the word 'Step(s)' appeared in an album title, after 2019's Kylie collection "Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection" (1 week on 8th of July, 2019). It's the twelfth time for the word 'You' (Luke Combs "What You See is What You Get" was the last from Nov. 2019) and the first time for the word 'Better'.

Even though Lime Cordiale are led by the two Leimbach brothers, there are still a six piece outfit, so instead of classing them as a duo I have categorized them as a group. So the band becomes the 245th Australian act (solo, duo, group, male or female) to top the local charts and the ninth for 2020, which already surpasses the eight from 2019 and 2017, while its close to the ten Aussie No.1 albums from 2018 (20 in 2016 is the record to beat). They are also the first sole Australian act at the top in almost a month as Vika & Linda last hit the top on June 22nd (although the "Music from the Home Front" {2 weeks from June 26th} album was full of local acts too), and Lime Cordiale become the 119th Australian Act to hit No.1 here also. For groups the band are now the 392nd to hit the top locally, and the first time since 2016 that we've cracked double figures for groups at No.1 during a calendar year, as we've now racked up eleven groups at the top this year (it was 20 in 2016), the last being The 1975 at the start of June, while the new No.1 album also give the band the honour of becoming the 66th Australian Group to hit the top here.

There are three albums landing within the top three spots this week, with Sydney trip-hop trio DMA's coming in at No.2 with their third album "The Glow", which becomes their third Top 10 album and fourth overall entry (3 albums and 1 Live set), following on from "Hills End" (HP-8, March 2016) and "For Now" (HP-7, May 2018) and last years "MTV Unplugged: Live" (HP-94, July 2019), with their new album also landing at No.1 in Scotland and No.4 in England this weekend.

The third album and first posthumous release for slain rapper Juice WRLD called "Legends Never Die" comes in at No.3 this week to become his second Top 10 placing and fourth overall albums chart entry (3 studios and one mixtape alongside rapper Future), plus this new set becomes his highest charted album and it debuted at No.1 in New Zealand, England, Ireland and Norway (so far). Nine singles from the album are within the Top 50 singles chart this week including it's first release "Righteous" (HP-15, peaked May 2020) is back within the Top 100 at No.25, while he scores two Top 10 placings in "Come & Go" with Marshmello and "Life's a Mess" with Halsey, with other acts helping to finish the album and lend their vocals to his tracks including Trippie Redd, Polo G, The Kid Laroi, Dr. Luke and Skrillex.

Last weeks "slain-rapper" entry was for Pop Smoke which came in at No.1 (I thought we might have had the first back-to-back posthumous No.1's this week for the first time ever, but alas not yet) and it falls three spots to No.4 this week, followed by a single place slip to No.5 for Harry Styles' "Fine Line" and after a huge return to the chart last week the 'Hamilton' cast recording is up one spot this week to a new peak of No.6, while it also swaps places with the Billie Eilish debut album "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go" down one to No.7 and logging its 66th week within the Top 10 too. Dropping three places to No.8 is the recent No.1 compilation "Music from the Home Front", followed by a returning-to-the-ten album for Luke Combs in "What You See is What You Get" which is back up two places to No.9 and now spending its tenth overall week within the ten, and lastly down one spot to No.10 is the Post Malone set "Hollywood's Bleeding" which is now up to its 38th week within the Top 10.

UP:
Taylor Swift rises back up four spots to No.13 with her "Lover" set, while she also rebounds sixteen spots to No.37 with her older entry "1989". Lewis Capaldi's debut album is back up three to No.15 and thanks to a vinyl and physical release last week the recent Make Them Suffer album called "How to Survive a Funeral" leaps back into the Top 100 at a new peak of No.17, having previously made it to No.48 and spending one week within the chart on June 29th, 2020.
The EP's for Billie Eilish (34 to No.27), Benee (40 to No.36) and Tones and I (47 to No.41) all rise back up this week, with collections rising for Eminem (37 to No.32), Maroon 5 (38 to No.33) and INXS (41 to No.35). Fleetwood Mac's 1977 masterpiece "Rumours" rebounds fifteen places to land at No.40, while the new Juice WRLD entry helps his first set "Goodbye & Good Riddance" (HP-39) to rise back up three spots to No.43, while the last returning album to the fifty this week is "Artists Unite for Fire Fight", back up nineteen places to land at No.50.

DOWN:
There are four albums leaving the Top 10 this week, with last weeks No.2 set for King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard with their live set "Chunky Shrapnel" (HP-2, WI10-1) falling out of the Top 50, followed by the Bob Dylan set "Rough and Rowdy Ways" (HP-2x2, WI10-3) which tumbles down eleven spots to land at No.14. Two former No.1 sets also leave in "Future Nostalgia" for Dua Lipa (HP-1x1, WI10-14) down one to No.11 and the Lady Gaga album "Chromatica" (HP-1x2, WI10-6) which drops four places to land at No.12.
The Weeknd falls six places to No.18 with "After Hours", while both Ed Sheeran entries drop down in "÷ (Divide)" (15 to No.20) and "No.6 Collaborations Project" (14 to No.21), which is its first time outside of the Top 20 in its 53 weeks on the chart (its previous lowest position was #16). After rising back up last week thanks to a new single issued/charting in "Half a Man" (digital #28) the Dean Lewis album "A Place We Knew" is back down four this week to No.24, with recent No.3 peaking Ocean Alley dropping five this week to No.26 with "Lonely Diamond".
The rising soundtracks from last week all turn back around this week in 'Bohemian Rhapsody' (25 to No.30), 'Frozen 2' (30 to No.34) and 'The Greatest Showman' (33 to No.39), with last weeks No.24 peaking Pop Smoke mixtape "Meet the Woo 2" falling back down fourteen places this week to No.38. Halsey drops eleven spots to No.42 with her "Manic" third album, Polo G falls six to No.45 with "GOAT", 5SOS stumble down fourteen places to No.46 with "C A L M" and Drake's "Scorpion" is his only Top 50 entry this week, it's down six places to No.48.

FURTHER NEW ENTRIES:
* #28 (LP#3) - Monsters by The Midnight is the third album for the Los Angeles based duo of Jamison Tyler Lyle and Tim Daniel McEwan who met in 2012 and released their first material as an EP in 2014, followed by their debut album in 2016 called "Endless Summer", after which was "Nocturnal" (EP in 2017) and then in 2018 their second album called "Kids", while this becomes their first charted album in Australia too.

This weeks chart is interesting.
Juice WRLD deserved a #01 album given how many entries made it into the official countdown. It still looks obscure to see popularity for an entire album reflected on the singles but only a #03 debut.
Yet at the same time it’s great to see Lime Cordiale & DMA’s at #01 & #02.
It would be amazing if Lime Cordiale & DMA’s had successful singles from their albums all over radio.
It will be interesting to see how well the Juice WRLD tracks fare in their second week. Also which songs will rise and score a new peak.
I feel as though Lime Cordiale are destined for a similar chart success route as The Jungle Giants, only 1 barely charting hit, but multiple gold & platinum singles a couple years from now.
Next week's chart will be really interesting as Taylor Swift and Kanye West will release their new albums tomorrow.
