4.5 Quite a solid album. I reckon I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't already know most of the songs. There were only about one or two which I hadn't already heard. The songs I enjoyed most were the ones I didn't already know. Also I found it a bit short, only 36 minutes and no songs going longer than 5 minutes. But still it's enjoyable old southern rock. It's obviously not introducing anything new for music, it's reliving a past style of music. But I don't think that's a bad thing if the songs are listenable. And I think for a debut this is quite good and their songwriting can only improve from here.

Eines der Alben, die ich auf eine einsame Insel mitnehmen würde. "Boys & Girls" ist für mich ein überragendes Meisterwerk.
