Another terrible track from this very overrated (IMO) artist.
***
It's way too soft and very poor-man's-Lorde, but I don't mind it.
**
I don't think much of this either, it's just so ultimately boring. I don't understand why Billie Eilish is so popular.
**
I can't help but think that this type of songs are pretentious. If it was a bit more minimalist I guess everything would have been on mute.
***
Nah too poor. Lovely is much better.

Well I am getting used to it slowly. But its a 3 star because I never had a song that grow on me for such a long time.

A genuine, utter bore! Billie does so little here, but the song-writing almost redeems it.

Sorry... but BORING. It just seems to go nowhere.

*****
The minimalistic production accompanying Billie's voice suits the song perfectly and creates a real atmosphere to the track. The piano is used to great effect, particularly during the bridge and the "ahhh ahhh ahhh" vocal harmony in the first chorus is also lovely. It would be remiss of me not to mention the distorted "call me back" vocal in the second verse which is quite jarring, but a fun contrast to the rest of the song. It's really Billie's vocal which carries the song though, as it almost has to with so little behind it, and she does a very impressive job.
*****
A beautiful simple piano driven song and Billie's vocals shine here. 5*

It's decent enough but will it be memorable in a few years time?

P = 40
