Just embarrassing to listen to now. Dami's vocals get a big thumbs up from me but they just don't suit the song. It's almost like she wanted a ballad this time but Sony couldn't deal with letting her have full control so forced this thing on her. I'm not much of a fan of tacky folk-pop productions anyway but this just takes the tackiness to the next level. That "drop" is so bad and so out of place. Pretty bland song apart from that too. The only thing that making this not have a lower score is the vocals tbh. So glad it didn't make the top 10.

Generic to a ridiculous degree. While the verses are somewhat enjoyable, what I'm calling the chorus is really quite horrible with the repeated 'down' and the title which sounds rather awkwardly slotted in. 2.5<br><br>Edit: Growing on me for some reason.

OMG, ein so geiler Song! <br><br>Ich kannte Dami Im nur, weil sie bei The X Factor Australia einmal Katy Perrys "Roar" coverte. Da ich ein riesen Fan von Katy bin wollte ich mal reinhören und war damals nicht sooo begeistert von Dami Im. Jetzt habe ich mir trotzdem den Song angehört und eine wahre Perle gefunden. <br><br>Dieser Song etwas vom besten was ich dieses Jahr bis jetzt gehört habe. Schon nach dem ersten Mal hören wusste ich, dass sie von mir 6* bekommen wird. Ich finde es auch genial, sieht sie so speziell aus. Das macht sie nochmals besser. Von mir für diesen knaller Song klare 6* !!! |

"Super Love" fängt sehr stark an!<br>Das Piano in den Strophen gefällt mir sehr, sehr gut!<br>Ich dachte schon so, oha das wird ein Banger!<br>Dann kam das Country ein wenig rein und dieser Refrain...äääh um welten schlechter als die Strophen!<br><br>Wie schon unsere englisch-sprachigen Kollegen erwähnt haben "generic", ja es ist auch für mich ein wenig zu stark auf einen Hit getrimmt, ich mag Mainstream, aber hier ist es ein wenig übertrieben xD<br><br>Trotz allem mag ich diesen Song sehr und es ist das bisher beste von Dami! Ich wünsche mir in Zukunft weiterhin so gute Songs von ihr, jedoch mit ein wenig mehr individualität und kreativität!<br><br>5*-

Also die Country-Elemente finde ich hier doch sehr, sehr dezent platziert. Für mich ziemlich plastisch und leider auch ziemlich austauschbar, immerhin stimmlich scheint aus der Dame doch was herauszuholen zu sein. Wobei auch hier die Frage ist, wie viel da nachgeholfen wurde, um die Stimme so klar tönen zu lassen.<br><br>Solide bis gute 3. |

She has a good strong voice but that vocal run of the 'love' part of super love is dire. Sounds out of place. As does the banjo. But otherwise it's nice and generic. |

On paper I really shouldn't like this but the pure cheerfulness of Dami's vocal performance just makes this so infectious for me and thoroughly enjoyable. Not as good as Alive but still a great track. |
