****
Probly his most known song, beautiful melodies and a good song anyone can sing.
******
Such a great song.

Every Australian knows this one.
*****
Great Australian song.

Beautiful melodies. My favourite song from him ever.
******
A really really nice song! I can't believe this didn't chart in New Zealand. Being on Contiki and hearing this every other day made me love it even more.

Great song, quite beautiful.

One of the worst apolitical aspects of Australian culture is that this tacky adult contemporary sludge has crossed the realm of irony and is accepted without question. I never desire listening to it. 2.4

Not bad.

This is such a great track! Glad to see that this went to #1 in Australia and it is not hard to see why.

It's weird to see this become such a meme. Surprisingly despite the ubiquity I still really enjoy it. The chorus is very memorable and enjoyable while the melody is pleasant enough. It does have its cringe moments and it's very much the kinda song you imagine your mum thinks is one the best of all time completely unironically however. Not Daryl's best performance for sure.

An undeniable Aussie classic! Fantastic!
****
Classic Australian Hit.
*****
An iconic Australian track which I remember very well.
******
Classic!

I recall a lot of reminiscing of this song at its 25th anniversary. Since then it still gets a mention every now and then on radio.
I am not sure why this has such longevity. Apparently Daryl too is puzzled. But on its original (long) chart run I grew to like this a lot too. I cannot commit to loving this though.
Probably my 3rd or 4th favourite from Daryl. Margaret Urlich also on vocals. 4.5*
