I like it now but it's still so strange to see it do so well in the current music scene when this sort of music would be expected to get shit on by almost everyone these days.

The existence of this is so weird but I'm pleased it wasn't screamy although something about it (the voice I think) still doesn't feel quite right. Much better than expected though.

Don't be fooled; this is not the Disturbed we all know and occasionally enjoy. This goes for the "stripped back" style, meanwhile his vocals are absolute crud and other than that it's rather soppy. Glad to see someone different chart but urgh not with something so unpleasant. 2.25

A very surprising rendition from Disturbed.

Sorry but this is so blah I can't enjoy this at all. I still have no idea why this is a hit.

First things first, this just sounds like something Creed would release, so this is pretty much a no straight off the bat.

I suppose the musical arrangement is fine at times, but that's just an awful sounding voice (which was the main trigger for the Creed comparison), and because I can just listen to this original, I really have no use for this.

It's nice enough but largely because the original is so fantastic. Seems very unnatural but I guess it's a nice change... Kinda. I much prefer Inside The Fire though and I'm glad that that was still 'bigger' in New Zealand.

Very boring with those overdone vocals

I didn't mind this at first but I'm baffled as to how because it truly is woeful. I've become more familiar with the lovely original by Simon & Garfunkel since this became a hit and this cover does no justice at all. In 2016 we really didn't need a hit that has someone competing with Hinder and Theory Of A Deadman for astronomically awful post-grunge vocals. Those vocals are atrocious. The track is dreadfully dull aside from that too. But this really could've been somewhat redeemable if it weren't for those vocals. Gosh they infuriate me. Without a doubt my least favourite hit of 2016, what did we do to deserve this?

Really surprised by the pummeling this has copped by reviewers here and also by critics in general.
Ok don't just jump on a bandwagon just for kicks but just for once some of you critics need to pull your heads out of your ass and appreciate something for what it is, without putting a label on it.

I wouldn't say I was the biggest Disturbed fan but I had a generally knowledgeable insight to their back catalog and from the moment I heard this it was something special to me. Also worth noting I wasn't the biggest fan of the original either.
People that do know me, know that i'm a lover of rock and a sucker for a ballad at the best of times so it would be no surprise to them that I would've eventually raved about this.
I just get the most satisfaction that this has become this chart phenomenon that can't be killed, heck it's no 'Uptown Junk' but at least it's having it's fair share of sunshine.

Take nothing away from David Draiman's vocal delivery on this track because after seeing them live just this last week and hearing him nail this in concert basically reassured me the man can sing and in my humble opinion has one of the strongest voices in rock today!

Pure mastery from Disturbed \m/\m/
