Unheimlich grundentspannte Nummer, die meiner einigermaßen festen Überzeugung nach bei mehrmaligem Hören deutlich zulegen wird. Zwar irgendwo monoton arrangiert, aber auch sehr catchy. Das gefällt mir in seiner Lässigkeit.<br><br>Gute 4 erstmal. |

I hate to say this but music of 2019 has been very slacking with alot of incohesive music, too many snippets, and far too many new artists that we hard to follow. Even hit singles like this did surpirsing. I never knew this released in the middle of the year. It sounds sunny and does progress to become amazing. |

This took a long time to grow on me, but after hearing it constantly as it became a massive hit, I grew to enjoy it a lot. The main guitar melody is a simple one, but it's quite pleasant and matches the vocal melody quite well to create an easygoing feel. This feeling is contrasted by the lyrics which tell the story of a relationship progressing to an unhealthy point of obsession when things start to go wrong. The way the vocals increase in pace throughout the second verse as things go sour in the lyrical relationship is very well done. The chorus is the real highlight of the song however, it's incredibly catchy and has a delightful melody. I'm very pleased at how big of a hit this became. |
