*** Much better than 'Can't Believe It'. The sample (Nina Simone's 'Feeling Good') is a sample of another track (Billie Holiday's “Summertime”), so yet again Flo Rida samples another sample. The chorus is alright, but Flo Rida's verse it what you'd expect. Last edited: 28/11/2013 02:34
*** This is far and away Flo Rida's best ever I think. The sample is cool and the production and backing instrumental is surprisingly somewhat different and a little creative. Flo Rida's vocals are more tolerable and are more reminiscent of 'Low' than anything else.
*** If he manages to sample "Steal My Sunshine" next, I'll know he's messing with me :p That said, this one isn't totally useless. At least the strings are sort of attention grabbing. At the end of the 2nd verse, Flo Rida basically admits that he's a hack, which is hilarious. 2.8
Note: this was never one of the top 20 highest selling songs of the week in Australia, but it's a top 20 hit, lol. Last edited: 23/12/2013 06:22
* The only way he was able to touch Nina Simone's record was because of the Bassnectar remix. Either way, it's horrible to hear a wonderful song like "Feeling Good" be absolutely ripped to shreds by Flo Rida.
