Hailee's "Haiz" EP wurde heute zum bereits dritten Mal re-releast... naja, man sagt ja alle guten Dinge sind drei. Dieses Mal hat man diese Kollaboration draufgepackt, wer bei Zedd als Feature aber einen EDM-Kracher erwartet, wird leider - wie ich - enttäuscht werden. "Starving" ist ein kleines, süsses, luftiges Pop-Söngchen, das man bereits vergessen hat, bevor es überhaupt zu Ende gegangen ist... 3* |

Inderdaad, dit nummer past precies binnen het huidige muziektijdperk. Maar toch slaat het ergens de plank mis, en ik kan er mijn vinger niet precies op leggen. Ondanks de productie van Zedd vind ik het gewoon een saai nummer, en de zang van Hailee wordt ook nergens spannend. |

Ich mag den Song wirklich sehr. Sowieso ist mir Hailee Steinfeld ziemlich sympathisch. Grey kannte ich bisher nicht. Die Produktion kann sich aber sehen lassen. Gute 5* vergebe ich gerne! |

Für mich der am wenigsten gute Song von Hailee Steinfeld bisher, wobei ich die Komposition wiederum gelungen finde. Hingegen ist das Arrangement zu dance-lastig, was dem Song nicht so gut bekommt. Gute 4. |

Well it's a cute pop hit, I like it much more than most drivel that's in the charts now. It's also the best thing to come out of this horrendous Chainsmokers trend, although it could do without that part that sounds like a seal on autotune. But considering the state of pop music this year I'll take it! |

That breakdown has grown on me so much to the point that I'm really digging this right now.<br><br>Side Note #1: That line about how this guy didn't just give her butterflies, but instead the whole damn zoo is pretty stupid, but funny enough to laugh at.<br><br>Side Note #2: I don't really like to judge on appearances and will try to avoid it where I can, but these "Grey" guys look creepy and the grey hair is most certainly not a good look, but they've named themselves after it, so I guess they'll have to stick with it now. |

Hailee Steinfeld's music career just sounds like a vehicle to me. I get no real sense of drive or personality, save for a slight trend towards risque phrases that are toned down to the point of sounding moronic if you read them cleanly (an "If You Seek Amy"-ism if you may). This song is a mess, incoherently mashing up a bland acoustic guitar beat with the polar opposite: a chorus breakdown with no room to breathe. With the song only barely clocking in at 3 minutes, it feels underwritten. But also back on that breakdown, it's one of the most thoroughly unpleasant things I've heard this year. Skip straight to 0:57 in the song and bear 5 straight seconds of incoherent nonsense.<br><br>Also 'I didn't know that I was starving 'til I tasted you' sounds like a bad translation. Maybe it corresponds to a clever turn of phrase in Russian, but it sounds terrible in English. |

Her voice is decent but that's the only thing this song has going for it. Everything else is just the typical generic trash that seems to sell in the current era. If it weren't for her voice, I'd be giving this a 1 for sure.

This song is weird in the way it mashes so many different elements together. But hey, I guess I do like the slow guitar melody. The chorus is memorable too and that drop never ceases to amuse me in its ridiculousness. Her voice is sufficient enough here. Lyrically it's very silly but there's a cute awkwardness to what she's singing and I can actually kinda relate to that so well done. |

Hailee Steinfeld hat im Video zum Song tolle, schwarze Nägel!<br>Die gefallen mir wirklich!<br><br>Der Song selbst ist eine typisch amerikanische Pseudo-Pop-Kacka, die genauso irritierend klingt wie zahleiche Lieder, die schon vor 20 Jahren von Britney Spears aufgenommen wurden!<br><br>Die Sängerin scheint müde zu sein, dass sie so furchtbar langsam den Text singen muss!<br>Sie soll 'CAUSE YOU ARE YOUNG von C.C.
