****** Honestly don't know where to start with this one. It far exceeded my expectations as after Beautiful and the last two soundtracks I was worried with which direction she'd go with, but she's gone back to her R&B/Pop roots and gee has it paid off. Although the singles so far could've gone better commercially, the album as a whole is really enjoyable from start to finish. It's great to see Jess finally have full creative control too and you can tell right from the get go, especially her songwriting ability which I have always underestimated. It's her most cohesive album to date and deserves every little bit of success it gets. Best tracks are Blessing, Come Runnin', Tough Love and Jealous. Last edited: 23/10/2019 11:23 |
