At first I was a bit sceptical as it was for the NRL ad and I would of preferred her to cover Simply The Best. And despite the fact that it sounds the opposite of a typical NRL theme song it works, and I really enjoyed it, though the auto tune can become annoying. But I am generally surprised to see it charting fairly high on itunes considering its only for an NRL ad and I don't think it has been played on radio yet.<br><br>Also, she better release some original music soon because I am sick of soundtracks and covers.

Yes Flo Rida unfortunately released a song in 2011. I didn't want to have to mention it, but it just seems too convenient that this shares the clunky musical rhythm which I always disliked in "Good Feeling". Except this time it's in the guitar and not just the synth. Gosh it's distracting! 2.5

A very good vocal performance from Jess which is always refreshing to hear, but the production is awful! Speed up kicks every 30 seconds or so is really bothersome and I am very tired of hearing similar versions of the song that is covered.

Is the original Etta James track (or one line) becoming incredibly annoying?<br>From memory, "the oh sometimes, I get a good feeling" line has been sampled 3 twice<br>1. Avicii - Levels (phenomenal)<br>2. Flo Rida - Good Feeling (to be fair Flo Rida did sample Avicii)<br><br>Now Jessica Mauboy thinks she can do an Etta James track. As much as it pains me to say, because I do like her music, I don't like this and I despised it that this was the promotional song of the NRL!

Average but as if we haven't heard enough covers and samples of this song already in the past three years. Very poor choice of song to cover imho.
