Show all languages | *** auch nicht berauschend, unglaublich hektisch und nervös wirkend...gefällt mir so nicht...könnte meinen, die Dame müsste einmal für kleine Jungs - knappe 3*... |
| ****** perfekt! |
| ** ...wieder dieser unsägliche Rihanna-Sound....geht mir auf den Geist... |

| ** nah |
| **** Good song. Gets boring quickly... |
| ****** Up/Down is the fifth single realsead from Jessica Mauboy, and it is the best track from her debut album Been Waiting. This song is a Dance/R&B/Pop song with an amazing video clip really similar to Step Up. Talking about Step Up the song has a beat in it from the movie. Up/Down went number 11 on the aria charts. |
| ** jessica's worst! |
| *** Peaked at #21 on my personal chart.

Came in at #199 in my TOP 200 OF 2009.

P = 51 Last edited: 18/04/2021 16:06 |
| **** pretty good,very catchy and cool beat |
| **** It's quite a catchy track. It does seem to awkwardly transition just for the sake of variation, but I've generally always enjoyed it anyway. 3.8 Last edited: 10/08/2014 12:44 |
| **** favourite jess mauboy song. 4.3 |
| **** Not too bad |
| **** One of my few guilty pleasures. It's pretty crap but I quite enjoyed this song. |
| *** Ok still, but not great. |
| *** Not bad. |
| ****** Catchy track, one of the better off Been Waiting. To The Floor would have been a good single too |
| ***** Krass! |
| ****** I honestly think this was the point in the Been Waiting era where she realised she had established herself as a household name and came into her own. The reason I say that is because of the video more-so than the song. It's just a sort of different Jess than what we had seen in the previous 4 singles, and that video was a real diva moment. It has always been and still is my favourite Jess video.

Onto the song itself, despite it not hitting the top 10 (which imo it really deserved too), I feel like this was one of her more genuine hits. She didn't really do any major promo for it, it was just a good catchy song and thats why it charted solidly. It's sad the whole Get 'Em Girls thing happened (as much as I love that song and album), because thats where I felt she went off track and lost some supporters and stopped appealing to the majority because she hasn't really (in my opinion) recovered sales-wise since (singles I'm talking about more-so than albums). | ** Tolerable. |
| **** A little scattery, but also catchy, so I'll round it up to 4* |
| ***** Great song from Jess, until "Inescapable" was released this was my favourite from her. Such a shame it missed out in going top ten. Last edited: 26/12/2013 01:47 |
