Absolutely awful! Jessie J is horrendous and completely untalented. Her voice and her vocal quirks are horrible and utterly annoying. She seems to have about seven different voices, it's just a shame that none of them sound very good, and instead she just comes across as fake. There's far too much yelling at random places in songs which just makes me want to burst my eardrums with a rusty fork, and for some reason she thinks it's cool to drag out random words in a stuttery manner, which couldn't annoy me more.

There's no flow to the album, you have a mix of styles here, it just reeks of throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. There's awful garbage trash like Do It Like A Dude, Christina Aguilera's Back To basics style songs, a Black Eyed Peas rip-off, but the most frequent is the lame "love-the world, feel good about yourself" ballad, which is just desperation.

There are only three songs I'd even consider not skipping if I was ever unfortunate enough to hear them, and even then I probably would because it's still Jessie J and she's still atrocious in every way. Those three are Casualty of Love, Abracadabra and I Need This. I want to burn the other ten out of my memory forever. Casualty Of Love is a song I could really enjoy in the hands of someone with a decent and capable voice, and even a miniscule skerrick of talent. Instead, Jessie J has it, and I'm forced to hate it because she ruins it. Like she ruins everything.

I just can't understand why people think she has a good voice or any talent. I don't see it. Her voice is annoying and ridiculous. At times she sounds twelve years old, at other times she sounds like she's burping or something. One minute she'll be rasping her way through an attempt to rap, then she'll be imitating Fergie. She has multiple styles on the go here, but none of them work for her even a little bit.

THE WORST ALBUM OF 2011. I'M CALLING IT NOW. FULL STOP. THAT'S IT. I NEVER WANT TO HEAR FROM HER AGAIN!

Edit: The most accurate album review I've ever read was on Pitchfork. I can't top this and I wouldn't dare try. If I'd found this before I wrote mine, my entire review would just be this link: http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/15246-who-you-are/

But she does have a good voice imo and her British accent is oh so amazing, though I guess it's just a matter of opinion. However, I am disappointed with this album because it is quite patchy. None of the songs are nowhere near as interesting as the raw amazingness that is Do It Like a Dude, except maybe Mamma Knows Best, Abracadabra and Who You Are. The rest of the songs sound too much alike. Overall I prefer Clare Maguire and Alexis Jordan debut album to this one.

Jessie J is definitely talented. She has one of the most extraordinary voices in the industry, but it is way too overused in this. To the point that it becomes painful. The album's opener, Price Tag w. B.o.B., is simply splendid and gets you hopeful for a brilliant debut album from a girl with serious talent.

Instead, Jessie J shows off. And unfortunately, there's not one song where she holds back. It's all out there for you to hear. Some songs would have benefited from holding back, but Jessie insists on doing every vocal run there is known to man. The sad thing is where does she go from here? We've heard all that she can do, can she really grow as a musician?

Highlights: Price Tag, Who You Are, Nobody's Perfect, Who's Laughing Now
Lowlights: Big White Room (Live? why??), Abracadabra, Stand Up

Great talent and she has a great career ahead of her, with lots of promise.

But I have to say, I was expecting more from the album. There are a few too many fillers on the album. She's got a great voice and a nice variety on the album, it's just it's not all superb like the standout first 2 singles Do It Like A Dude and Price Tag.

Introducing........... A pile of shit album! Not charting yet personally and it will never!

Yay 2011, a new year, a new batch of overhyped artists. Most of the songs come across as irritating in an arrogant way, and I generally don't like it.

I need a home for this link http://fourfour.typepad.com/fourfour/2011/04/jessie-j-annoying-ranked.html

But seriously, Big White Room was the only one I gave 2 star I think, not that that means anything. I think the only trouble with the Pitchfork review is that I would NEVER EVER put THIS STUPID TRYHARD anywhere NEAR IN COMPARISON WITH Lily Allen! Awful awful awful. Arrogant indeed, and let's just move on.

I enjoyed Do It Like A Dude upon release and loved Price Tag but this album never quite glued together. There are bits where Jessie is just so irritating, you wonder why she does what she does and why she doesn't practice more restraint. I don't regret buying this album, the singles are enjoyable to some extent, but I will never listen to it ever again.

Album Highlight: Who You Are
Lowlight: Abracadabra, Casualty Of Love, Stand Up
