Show all languages | **** Angenehm-urbaner Radio-Pop mit Schlumpf-Anteilen - geht leicht in die Ohren und wieder raus ... |
Knapp aufgerundete 3.5* |
| **** Labrinth im Labor bastelt eigenwillige Mixtur - auf Tonband - just let it be...+3.5 |
| *** da hat der Engländer irgendein Sample verwendet
immerhin kein Cover des Beatles-Klassikers, abgerundete 3.5

| **** Surprise return from Labrinth. |
| **** I loved some of his stuff from a few years back, so good to hear him back in action.

My opinion: this is quite cool.

4.25*. |
| **** Sans plus... |
| *** He's been miss, miss, hit, miss with me and this falls in between. |
| *** The verses are kind of good but the chorus is incredibly annoying. I guess it averages out, just. |
| *** A slightly less irritating 'I'm Ready' perhaps but I don't get much out of the main hooks anyway. 2.75 |
| *** Very strange track with the whole James Bond thing at the end, but I don't mind this so much. Also he tends to oversing, oversinging really irritates me. |
| *** For the most part it's just a touch dull. The hook is at the very least an interesting idea, but not executed the best way. But SAFIA's "Paranoia, Ghosts & Other Sounds" came out before this and honestly achieves it far better. At least they knew how to end the track, but here the outro is not quite as exciting as it wants to be and ends up more like filler than anything else. Shame it couldn't be a bigger hit though, Labrinth needs to really stay away from those awful ballads. 2.9 |
| **** Nicht schlecht... |
| ****
Eine knappe 4 von mir. |
| **** I forget this existed until today :P The hook was definitely done better in another song as mentioned already. His vocals surprisingly don't annoy me and I find the song is at least interesting enough. Certainly better than the next single and probably my third favourite from him as lead artist. |
| ** schwach |
| **** When I find myself in times of trouble, Labrinth sings to me "let it be". |
