I was instantly charmed upon hearing this when it was released. There's such a joy in Luke's vocal that it's impossible for me not to enjoy this every time I listen. Aside from that I love the understated nature of the music, with so little accompanying the vocal, it's still always able to make me move in some way, whether swaying in my seat or tapping my toes. The melody is so delightfully catchy, particularly at the end of the second verse which transitions into the chorus incredibly well. For a song which is basically about getting laid because someone's gotta do [s]me[/s] it, this is amazingly impressive and one of my favourites from him ever. What a joy. |
