It's less annoying than "Bills" so there's that.

Pretty average. He does sound decent at times, and that chick sounds a lot like Gaga to me.

For me this is actually worse than 'Bills'. The chorus sounds like 'Best Song Ever', and even the bridge completely rips off 'Don't Trust Me'. And then there's Lewis himself, who sounds totally uninspired and without anything interesting to contribute, it may as well not even be his song! Just blah. 2.5

Yeah, 'Bills' was better.

Cool track which I actually find better than Bills (thanks to Chloe Angelides)

So, LunchMoney Lewis has Dr Luke and Cirkut on board? Interesting.

One thing that annoys me with this song is that the second line Lewis says is "You ain't never heard nothin' like this before" when, as a matter of fact, we've heard plenty of things like this before.

To start things off, we've already heard the chorus, which is taken from a 1982 song called "Whip It" by the Dazz Band.

Then, Lewis' first line is "one, two, three, four", which could be taken from any number of things, but the first things that come to mind is the first line in Dr Dre's "Nuthin But a "G" Thang" and the first line in J Kwon's "Tipsy".

Then two of the next three lines mention Bruce Lee, which I'm sure is a reference to LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" and there is also a reference to Black Rob's song "Woah".

This isn't a really big problem overall, but there is no way that LunchMoney Lewis could possibly claim that we've heard nothing like this before.

The song itself is fine enough overall I guess, and I'll probably enjoy it more when it comes around to summertime. Still, I don't think I'll ever enjoy it as much as "Bills".

Haha at its chart run at #11 :P

Pretty good track. Peaked at #7 on my personal chart.

LunchMoney Lewis is a guy who just seems like he's having so much fun that you wanna root for him, if only he wasn't on Kemosabe. Still this was fun to watch as the little song that could; no one had any reason to expect LunchMoney Lewis to whip out another hit single. Pretty fun if a bit silly. The most memorable thing is the electro-bridge which is simultaneously the best and worst thing in the song, it's hilariously out of place but I can't deny that it hits a melodic sweet spot. Chloe has a nice voice too, and you can bet that she doesn't ever get herself stuck on train tracks so she's got that going for her too. 3.8

A reasonable listen. Good enough to shed Lunchmoney Lewis of the one hit wonder tag. The backing vocals help to complete the song. But this is not as good as 'Bills'. 3.5*
